I met some friends there for lunch and was surprised to see a great lunch special for 7.50$ !! Just 8 something after tax . You can choose between an angus burger, chicken sandwich, turkey burger and something else that comes with fries. I chose the Angus burger and was very satisfied with it! An Arlington staple you just can't miss! They have a great menu, obviously burgers are a go-to. Personally I will normally choose the turkey patty if I can and they have really good fish tacos as well. I also often get salads here, and you can swap in a side salad instead of fries for a small upcharge. But their fried items like fries, onion rings, and the fried apps are top notch. They also have a full bar with reasonable prices and very friendly bartenders. Plenty of seating and several TVs around the place. It is no surprise they've been around a long time. No frills burger joint. They do have an extensive menu but will also accommodate a simple bacon cheese burger order. My friend opted for the chicken friend bacon cheeseburger and that looked like a phenomenal option. The burger patty is very thick. My bacon quality was nice and a perfect crispness. Moved to the area and found this cool bar with really good burgers. Outdoor seating available and plenty of TVs to catch the games. They have 14 beers on tap with other bottled beers plus liquor. They have a $5.99 burger special during lunch which can't be beat. It was so good, I came two days in a row. The chicken fried bacon burger was massive. Although I know the bacon was there it got lost from the batter. Their onion rings are my least favorite in terms of seasoning. The texture is good but it could use some seasoning. It was too bland and I can tell they used the same batter for the bacon. The burger however was seasoned well and juicy which saved it from being a boring burger. The next day I had a Swiss burger and that sucker was on point. Got the side of sweet potato waffle fries and it hit the spot. Servers from both days were friendly and attentive. By far the best burger I've ever had in Texas the bun that they put it on must be some type of Hawaiian roll cause it's sweet as can be it taste incredible. The burger is fresh. It's huge comes with all the toppings. The loaded fries could be a meal by itself And the ambience is great. This is a great place to go for lunch or just a quick bite to eat, but it's also a great place to see live music on the weekends. Wow. First we went on a Friday, first game of the WS. What an event and what an incredible location. We grabbed a few things for dinner and order a few buckets of drinks. The meal we had the fish tacos, yes fish tacos in this location. Fresh and delicious. Not soggy and crisp in the tortilla. Salsa was good, but not spicy. We also had the chicken fried steak burger, which was good but the gravy, well was not fantastic and could do without it. It was very thin and not too thick where it would not stick to the steak on the burger. Fries were good, both sweet potato and nacho fries. For the bar, fantastic service and impeccable care. It was so good, we went back on Sunday after the Dallas game to sit down and watch the late Sunday game there. Ambiance was bar scene. It want quiet, so don't think the going for a quiet evening. Servers were super friendly and had no issues with them either. The food, on the other hand .... Oof. I'll start off with we ordered around 9:40pm. I ordered the fish tacos and my friend ordered the burger. I went to check on our food around 10:15 since it had been considerably longer than I expected, and found someone texting... who then claimed the buzzer didn't go off, then checked the buzzer and it worked totally fine. The food was... just not good. The fries tasted burnt as heck and one of my fish tacos still had the skin on it. Just overall, so bad, and if I'd messed up and let food sit there that long, I would ask them to remake it for the customer. I guess they couldn't be bothered? I had the Red Pepper Burger and my sponsor had the Bacon Burger. they cooked the bacon and meat patty the exact same was as requested. I DO NOT understand these bad reviews here. The concept is fast casual. You order at the front, get a buzzer, sit down and wait. You get drinks at the bar if you want to (like every bar in America). People complaining about having to wait in line for a beer because there's no wait staff. Uh, yeah that's how America works. If you want to not have to wait, sit at the bar. The food is incredible. Ordering was a little weird but the food was pretty good. I split a burger and wings with my daughter and both were good. We ordered the 1/3lb burger which was smaller than half the size of the regular one so make a good decision based on how much you eat. The fries were good as well. Drinks are self serve so are the condiments, which we ddn't mind but if you like to be served this isnt the place for you. The inside is basically a bar but it was pretty clean. This is my absolute favorite spot for veggie burgers (that are actually good) and sweet potato fries!! They have the best buns and the vibes are always right. I like how they have so much outdoor seating and the service is always quick! I came in a little early for an online order i placed and they were able to make it for me right away!! Some of our favorites are the salvage yard plate (fries, sweet potato waffle fries, onion rings), fried chicken sandwich, and nachos! Last night we tried the angry burger and it was quite spicy and VERY delicious. The buns on the sandwiches are simply the best - warm, incredibly soft, and slightly sweet. There's also a bar with beer, frozen cocktails, and mixed drinks and oftentimes this is paired with live music in the evenings! We went to a a concert at the Arlington Music Hall three other day. We attended the sound check, so between that and the concert, we walked across the street for dinner. At 68, I'm pretty well burned out on burgers from about anywhere, so I was pleased to see a Reuben on the menu. I was slightly less pleased to see it in the basket I picked up when our order was ready. I lived in Belgium for a few years a long time ago. The Belge perfected the fried potato and these dark, greasy slices were an insult to that body of work. The same for the sandwich. Where a real Reuben has thin slices of beautifully tender corned beef, this tasted like pan fried pepperoni slices. The whole affair, sandwich and fries were simply laden with grease. I was hungry, so I ate half the sandwich. I shared the other half with my wife as a post concert snack. It got even greasier then. read more

My margarita was overly sugary sweet, the fried pickles tasted like old grease and my salad was pretty tasteless. My husband got the bacon burger plus fries and he was just blah about it also. From where we sat inside, it looked like the majority of the patio is shaded. I got the Black & Blue burger and it was delish! I came with my family and they all enjoyed their burgers & kid corn dog. I do suggest getting the Salvage Yard Basket for $12. This place charges for fries/onion rings/sweet potato waffle fries separately, so we opted for that option. It's a self service joint and yet the staff is still rude, especially the white cashier gal. Bread was saturated in fat and inedible. Good music once in a while.
