Because we had to have our event in the ballroom and it didn't have speakers and overall it was an inconvenience. It smelled like seafood /fabuloso since early in the morning. I told the morning attendant. She stated that the party last night did have seafood. She did try to spray stuff but it didn't last. Lastly, the evening attendant wasn't pleasant. She asked about my vendor picking up the balloon arch tomorrow morning. I told her no, as I was already told that she can pick it up at 8. When I told the attendant that she didn't seem happy cause we "ended early." It wasn't as great as I thought it would be. They refused to give us a partial refund and the customer service wasn't great. They just want your money and don't want to provide quality customer service after their facilities weren't available. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, not even for a funeral. Don't waste your time.

From the moment guests walked in, they couldn't stop talking about how beautiful, modern, and spacious the venue was. The amenities are a major plus and made the entire event stress-free. The staff was AMAZING -- so helpful, accommodating, and on top of everything. They helped set up the space so beautifully, it honestly felt like a dream! And let me talk about the bar DFW Bartending came THROUGH. My guests were raving all night about how fast the bartender (Gabby) was, how delicious the drinks were, and how professional she was. The bar service alone elevated the entire event. Another huge highlight: the restrooms and dressing rooms. The bride and groom suites were modern, spotless, and absolutely beautiful -- seriously luxury vibes. Everything was super clean and well maintained. Bre got me pointed in the right direction the second I pulled up, and Catherine greeted me at the spa with so much warmth and patience that I felt at ease immediately. Then came Angela, my massage therapist-I'm convinced this woman's hands can heal. Honestly, they deserve a Nobel Prize. Best massage I've ever had, hands down. Lauren the esthetician gave me an amazing facial that left my skin supple, radiant, and soft. As a man, I'll say this without hesitation: fellas, go get your facials done. Ladies, Lauren exceeded my expectations. Go check her out, you won't regret it. Lunch was just as exceptional. I had the seared Ahi tuna salad and my wife had the fried chicken sandwich; both were fantastic. The charcuterie board was amazing, and the bread baskets were just as good. Bre took care of us as our waitress with service that went above and beyond, Sarah the restaurant and hotel manager made sure every detail was perfect, and Analise at the front desk was attentive and gracious throughout. Afterward, I headed back across the street where Isabel gave me a manicure and pedicure that left me feeling relaxed, confident, and genuinely happy. Serena, the other technician on site, brought that same level of care and attentiveness to her own client. These ladies both provide a level of service that is elevated and grounded in intention. On my way out, receptionists Sarah and Isabel made sure everything had been wonderful and that all of my needs were met-the perfect ending to an already perfect day. Every team member exceeded my expectations, and my wife couldn't have picked a better place. I'll absolutely be back. Thank you all.

Shannon was my coordinator when I started the process. I'd researched the venue prior to booking and Shannon had received great reviews. I hoped I'd get her and was excited when I did. I loved her immediately. However, over the course of 18 months, my coordinator change 4 times. But in the end, I ended up with Shannon, which I was happy about. My wedding was beautiful! It was everything I'd wanted. The venue was beautiful and looked upscale. I got a great rate and everything was explained clearly to me upfront. I was able to visit and take part in as many tastings as I wanted. The planning process went great. Every accommodation was made to satisfy me. Even when we groom showed up over and hour late for rehearsal and we were told that they would charge extra if we went over our scheduled time, they didn't charge us although we went an hour and a half over our time. We were told that our meal was only for one entree per person, but they allowed our guests to get seconds and did not charge us. (I felt like this should have been the case anyway, since we paid for the food.) With all of that being said, there were some issues. My friend was there to help my cake baker set up the cake and add the final personal touches to the reception area. She was turned away with no reasonable explanation, although I'd provided notice that she would be there to assist. Also, we were not given the rest of our cake. I had to go back and get it the Monday following our wedding. My coordinator was changed again, the day before our wedding and we met Dee the evening of our rehearsal. Dee was not the most professional coordinator and got into arguments with several of my bridesmaids because of her lack of professionalism. She was better the day of the wedding and was helpful and Shannon was there to help as well. After the wedding, we were rudely yelled at to exit the chapel before we were done taking our photos. I found out later than I mom was asked to clean up the rose petals from the floor of the chapel! I was furious and this should have NEVER happened no matter what the circumstances were! When my some of my guests mentioned they didn't have a seat because more people came than expected, instead of them setting up another table as I was told they would, my guests were told that wasn't their problem. A table wasn't brought out until I had to go complain after our officiant came to tell me he was leaving because he didn't have a seat. That also was UNACCEPTABLE!!! As I said, overall, my wedding day was everything I could have wanted and more, even with the mishaps (now that incident with my mama ALMOST took this review another direction! But I think deducting two stars sufficed.) My vision came together and was executed pretty much exactly as I planned it. My guests had a great time and raved about how beautiful and classy it was.

Oh dear... I knew…read morethe time would come that I would have to write my first sad review, and I would in fact be... sad. BUT!! Let's start with the positive shall we?! We went here for my husband's company Christmas party last Friday night. The cupcakes was DELISH! THE PERFECT cupcake! I normally pass on the frosting with cake, but this frosting was yummo. The right amount of sweetness and precisely light and fluffy. They had set up a cute little toppings bar to add goodies to your choice of vanilla or chocolate cupcake. Whipped cream (also delish!), oreo cookies crumbles, diced strawberries, and choppped nuts. It made a really cute and yummy dessert. The dinner was pretty tasty as well.. but I say its just as average as any other "wedding venue" food. The decorations were festive, very Christmas like and fitting for the occasion. However what I was very disappointed in (mainly for the sake of my husband's bosses who were wanting to put on a very nice evening for us), was that the coordinator for the night kept checking in on our host and hostess the entire evening and not in a "can I help you" way. They rushed them, pushed the schedule, started cleaning up our tables early at 7:15 when there were still guests in the room, AND when they'd rented the room until eight. We all sort of made light of the situation and the "mother" figure (coordinator) who kept coming back into the room to check on how things were progressing, but again not for what seemed like our sake... more in a "when can I get out of here?" type thing. She didn't seem the most thrilled with our event for the evening, and that's disappointing when someone is paying for a great experience. So I went back for a third cupcake! ...That'll show em'!

Mind you, we came to Texas Live to see Mexico vs S Korea, USA vs AUS, USA vs HERZ, and were not charged. Seriously? If you're going to change your policy and charge people just to enter your venue to eat and watch a game, the least you can do is make that crystal clear before people spend money on parking. It was not on their website so this is UNACCEPTABLE! AND why just the Mexico games? I'd say that was predatory at the least. If it was solely about safety, let who arrives be served, but you took advantage and cost us $ AND inconvenience. DO BETTER!
