I took my wife for our 25th year anniversary and the place did not disappoint the food was amazing. The service was spectacular and the views were amazing. The place is by far a 10 out of 10. I would really recommend it to anybody wanting to get out of Dallas and get a change of scenery.

Yes, yes, yes!! Location is a little weird as it is on the 9th floor of an office building. But once you enter, you forget you're in an office building at all! The place is pretty "posh" (live piano with vocalist, dim lighting ambience, well-dressed hostess, etc) - However, since we visited from out of state and this was a last-minute reservation, we were in jeans. Husband was in a button-up flannel and thank Goodness I had packed a simple V-neck black shirt! We were seated by a window overlooking the city. We got water and menus immediately (thanks, Jafar!) and our waitress wasn't too far behind. Everything came out in a VERY timely fashion and was EXCELLENT! Ceviche appetizer Hand cut Ribeye w/crab enhancement Whipped potatoes Chicken (blackened) pasta 2 Jafars (mixed drink) 1 Mexican Mule 1 Corona Bread w/garlic butter Blueberry cheesecake Chocolate cake w/ice cream Total: $217 not including tip The ONLY thing Husband would not recommend would be the portion of the crab enhancement. He said it was good, but wished there was a little more for the price. FLAVOR WAS ON POINT! With EVERYTHING! When the first bite makes you roll your eyes and nod your head ... Ima leave that right there!! Table bread was fresh sourdough with a garlic butter made in-house. OMG. That is all. OMG. Our server was amazing!! Even though the ambience is posh, the atmosphere is way more laid back. We joked and laughed with our server and she was absolutely the best! Overall, HIGHLY recommend if you're in Arlington or the surrounding areas!!

Blessed to be surprised with a birthday dinner by my daughter This was my 2nd time eating here so knew it was going to be a great dining experience...and it did not disappoint! Our reservation was around 7:30pm, so we got a view of the sunset and our piano medleys were entertaining. Our server Jaffar was on point with getting our orders and getting the bartender to create a special mystery mocktail for me. Our appetizers and entrees were all on point. The risotto was like butter!! Really good! Everything was top notch and the staff even sang happy birthday

The ambiance was very elegant with the sparkling Arlington city lights! My visit was on my birthday, February 9. The ladies greeting me at the door were warm, inviting, with all smiles! My waitress Britany, was super from beginning to end! I started out with an onion soup appetizer with a Lady's night out martini, both were superb! They did not have the fish entree I was ready for , so settled for the cheese ravioli lobster sauce. Delicious!!! My night ended with was the popular crème brûlée. I savored each and every bite! My friend enjoyed her grilled chicken with asparagus. This place was amazing and worth the price! Can't wait to visit again! My pictures aren't perfect, so go check them out! So worth it!

I enjoyed lunch here Tuesday afternoon of last week. The setting is quite pleasant, located on the top (9th) floor of a business office building. A very scenic view across Arlington. Service was adequate and friendly. Premium wine selection by the glass was a bit lacking. The food was good, but not spectacular. I started with a Caesar salad. It was okay. I thought it was a bit unusual that there was no apparent bread service for a fine dining restaurant. No other tables were served bread either, until one larger party was served bread following their appetizers, along with their salad course. Nothing on the menu indicated bread was served upon request and/or for purchase. For my entree I had the 6 oz. filet Mignon and a side of their steak fries. I finished with the chocolate torte and a Bailey's coffee. Again, generally the food was good, but fell short of my expectations I had for the establishment, supposedly the best steakhouse in the area.

Looking for a place to watch in Texas. Originally wanted Mexican food but it was closed Monday and Tuesday. Found the Mercury Chophouse nearby. It was a great find. The restaurant is located on the ninth floor and has fabulous views. It is upscale and had live piano player. This place is a romantic place if you are in Arlington looking for a date night idea. The food was good. I had the salmon and added a salad and Oscar to it. A few smoked manhattans and the night was off to a great start. The service was good, the waiter was engaging. The he food was delicious. It was a little pricey at $140 a person but if you want a place to impress this might be it.

This place is a little hard to find, but well worth it. It is on the ninth floor of an office building and the views of the city are spectacular from up there. Try to hit it at sunset for an extra treat. This is a great place for a romantic dinner or a business meeting. The staff and our server were very friendly. The menu is typical chophouse with lots of great steak and seafood options. I had the elk, which was truly outstanding. The wedge salad is also excellent. One of the better restaurants in Arlington!

Stopped by during a solo lunch on a Friday late afternoon. I wanted a fairly quiet place to grab a cocktail + small bite to eat and read a book; Mercury Chophouse was the perfect choice! The restaurant was fairly quiet, intimate and located on the 9th floor so the views are stunning! I sat at the bar and the bartender, Brian, was kind and attentive. Had a Lavender 75 and their mini crab cakes; would recommend both! As I was packing up to leave (around 5:30pm), the live music crew was setting up - the woman who sang was doing a mic check and sounded lovely from the small bit I heard. Will definitely be back for the full dining experience.

First time patron here. Wow. We took a candidate for a job here for dinner and I'm glad we did. This is probably the best spot in Arlington for dinner. Close to hotels, easy to find location, great views from the 9th floor (of what seems like a commercial building from outside), great food, cocktails, and ambiance. I'll (we'll) be coming back.

To name a few there's creme brulee, charcoal honey, ube, pandan...along with all the regular flavors. The pastries are good, they are average, which is still a good thing. Ham & cheese came out flaky. :) Presentation is beautiful. Sometimes I'll go there midday & there's not alot to choose from so it will prevent me from getting a snack. Charcuterie & wine is available but I haven't ordered any of those. A fun atmosphere, along the wall are built in seats with chairs on the opposite end of the table. Other seating includes table with benches (beware you can't move the benches to get in & out, if I'm wrong I apologize), then some a few tables with chairs by the windows, on the other side they do have benches facing each other with tables in between (great for groups!), & beautiful outdoor patio seating. They have a small upstairs with chairs & use wine barrels as tables. Clever! Customer service is okay, let me say that every person there has been extremely pleasant but out of the four times I've been there, only once I didn't have an issue. They seem to enough their jobs & working together, which is a green flag for any place, but sometimes they get distracted. One time I stood there & staff was chatting in the corner, a good amount of time passed before anyone noticed me. Another time, they just forgot my drink (it was the only thing in my order) & there were no other order left... the group was again chatting away with with each other, then during another visit they forgot my croissant. Each time they did apologize, but three out of four times aren't good odds. I probably won't frequent this location as much, but I will stop by once in awhile because their drinks are worth it.

The outside lacks charm, with a strip mall feel. Inside there are lots of tables decorated with coins under glass. You also use chips to exchange for tastings, which is a nice touch. I am leaving only 3 stars mostly because, despite trying many of the wines here, I can never find one that I actually like. The service is also spotty. The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

Initially I came to take advantage of a deal, however, do know that the $25 board and wine combo is only available Mondays and Tuesdays after 8 PM, and we were there around 4:30. However, despite that overlook on my part, the food definitely did not disappoint! We had an amazing server. She was easily available , quick, and accommodating. My friend had some dietary restrictions and she was quick to ask about them, and make needed modifications without any issue. Extremely kind, and fun to be around, she had some great suggestions for items on the menu. The environment was definitely more relaxed, however, the pace was definitely picking up when we left. As I mentioned we were there right before people seem to be getting out of work, and it seemed like a lot of people are making their way and to enjoy an evening meal or happy hour. We easily got a spot in front, however, if there happens not to be any available, there's lots of parking behind Lush on the opposite side of the road. I'm hoping to go back and try one of the boards, I've had one prior at different locations, but I'm sure it would be just as great here!
