Great food and service! The Denver omelette was tasty as well as the hash-browns. I'll definitely be stopping by again :)

I love this place for breakfast. It is perfect for a feel‑good meal, and the service was just what I expected. I ordered the croissant French toast and thought it was unique and full of flavor. Someone else in my group ordered the eggs Benedict, which was good, although the hollandaise sauce tasted bland and lacked originality. The bacon was also extremely thin. Overall, it was a good experience, but do not expect high‑quality food.

First time at this restaurant for brunch after the church service. We were seated as soon as my husband and I walked in. Our cheerful server, Erica greeted us with such great attitude Then our food came in within 5-7 minutes and was surprised with the quality of food. The plates were cleaned, my strawberry waffle was one of the best waffles I ever had. It was airy and light plus the strawberries topping were not super sweet, which was great! The place was welcoming and really feeling the country feel. My husband and will come back with our daughter very soon and will definitely ask for Erica! Super and exceptional customer experience!

Breakfast Sampler: that's an huge feast in itself, all cooked to order each as you like it. Yummy. German Pancake: super thin light, and if you squeeze a little bit of lemon on it, it is quite refreshing. Staff and service was very friendly and attentive.

This is a local spot that's is usually not as packed. We came after church on a Sunday and it took awhile to get our food. Once we got the food it wasn't anything really to rave about. We ate and went home. Our waiter was attentive, plenty of parking.

First time at Jay Jay Cafe. I arrived early Sunday morning and was seated immediately. The server greeted me with a smile. I ordered coffee. I ordered the eggs, home fries, bacon, and a pancake. The pancake was delicious and the bacon and eggs were very good. The home fries are cooked with onion and green pepper. I ate around the green pepper as it isn't my favorite. I would have liked if the potatoes were a little crispier. Overall my breakfast was very good. The service was very good, always checking to see if I needed a coffee warm-up.

Service was excellent. My cheeseburger was cooked well and not greasy. Bun not too soft or sweet. Just right. Place is clean and nice. The complimentary bread was delicious!

Grilled pork chops with hash browns, sunny side up eggs. Order includes a huge thick fluffy pancake that's not pictured here.

We had high expectations from my experience with the breakfast food. Well, the non-breakfast items were mostly disappointing. I got blackened tilapia, which was dry, overcooked, & bland (I dipped it in onion ring sauce to give moisture). The beans were also bland, the green beans were ok. My daughter got the grilled salmon, which was also dry & bland. Hubby got monte cristo which was NOT good, not the monte cristo we expected. Rather, it was sourdough toasts with cold cuts. Son liked his chicken fried steak, but it wasn't spectacular. Onion rings weren't bad. Father in law loved his omelet & hash browns. Other than that, service was fast & friendly. I would just stick to breakfast items.

This is advertised as a "scratch" kitchen. The food is nothing really special that you can't already make at home. Since we are visiting from out of town, we thought we'd stop in. We we was seated at noon on a Monday. It appeared to be catered to a retired crowd, that lacked taste buds. Kinda reminds me of a trip in Jupiter Florida where the food was mostly bland. This place is a notch of above the food from that retirement community. I don't think we would come back. Cracker Barrel is slightly better than this place, and it's not really scratch made. The corn tasted like it was out of a can and boiled slightly longer than needed and drowned in butter. I was told it came out of a bag, yuck. The fried okra was also nothing special. The pecan chicken was a four star on the plate.. This place also reminds me of Marie Callendars food. Where the pie shines above the entree. We shared a coconut crème pie and it was above and being the best thing sold to us.

We tossed around a few suggestions and decided to stop at Cotton Patch Cafe since it was on the way home and wasn't out of the way. The restaurant, being a Saturday afternoon, wasn't busy at all. We were greeted with smiles and shown to our table. Rachael, our server greeted us and took our drink orders, unsweetened iced tea all the way around. One of the issues I have with Cotton Patch Cafe's menu is there are SO many awesome choices. It's hard to make a decision. Rachael checked back in with us and we had a chance to visit with her. We learned she had recently moved to Mansfield from New Mexica. We chatted about our last trip to New Mexico and all the fun we had while visiting the state. Finally, we made our choices. My wife ordered the small chicken tenders' basket with fries. I decided on the small chicken fried steak accompanied with garlic mashed potatoes, and Cotton Patch's incredible baked squash. It was a leisurely time catching up of how both of our previous week had gone. We're so busy during the week, we're sometime like passing ships in the night. Rachael arrived at our table with our piping hot entrees. My wife's chicken strips were so hot, she broke them into so they could cool down. My wife said they were awesome, and her fries were fried to perfection. My chicken fried steak was one of the crispest I've ever enjoyed. It was fried perfection just like my wife's fries. What can I say about the squash casserole, it was delightful as well as the garlic mashed potatoes with the jalapeno cream gravy. The manager even dropped by to see if all was OK. We said it was! What a delightful visit we enjoyed at Cotton Patch, all was wonderful, and Rachael was one of the best servers EVER! Thank you, Cotton Patch for a wonderful time.

Their food is very good, no question. I was reading some of the reviews and noticed that a few other "elite" reviewers gave this location glowing recommendations. So maybe I'm just catching them when they're not on their A-game. That's why we decided to give them one last attempt to redeem themselves. They did. We had a waitress that provided outstanding service. I was very impressed. She made sure our glasses were always full, brought us fresh bread promptly when asked and made sure we were happy with our food before she walked away. From the time we sat down till we left, she was very attentive. I haven't given up on them yet. All this to say, if you want great good, this location in Arlington will provide it, but rather you will get good service or not, is strictly a coin toss.

He rushed me, bringing my check out halfway through my meal. If I'd wanted to order a dessert, I wasn't given the chance. He brought out my appetizer and main course at the same time. So by the time I got to eat my main course, everything was cold. I've been here several times, and it's been a long time since I've had service this unprofessional. This young man needs to learn to focus on his current customer, not the potential ones arriving later. It was made abundantly clear to me, that I wasn't truly important to him, as a customer. The food was good, despite it being cold. But my entire experience was ruined by extremely rookie service.

The young lady that was calling out the orders when they were ready is in need of an attitude adjustment. She clearly did not want to be there. The store itself was cool and cleaned, just small.
