Love it. I've eaten here three times in the last 60 days. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. They have a combination of tables and booths. They also have enclosed patio seating. They keep it very cool inside. Ceiling fans have been on each time I've been here. You may want a thin jacket to be comfortable. I've eaten the following here: - Corn Beef Hash Omelette Combo (Waffle) - Country Omelette Combo (Pancakes) - Chicken Fried Chicken with Biscuit The meals are large. For us, we always take half home to eat the next day. Both the pancakes and waffles are tasting here. The omelette I've had were all very good. Only cons I have here is the temperature inside - a bit cool and the medium poached eggs came out hard poached. We didn't send them back as it wasn't a big deal to us. Our specific server was very inattentive - we received more service from other servers than her. The food was not as good as the GP location, and this one was more expensive and less tasty. First time at Good Day Cafe. Saturday morning and the restaurant was pretty full. It is a please seat yourself restaurant. The cashier smiled and pointed to a smaller table (helpful!). It is a smaller place, but manages to have quite a few tables. The cashier helped again bringing me a menu and by letting the server know I had been sitting a bit with no service. I ordered the 2 eggs and bacon, hash browns (crispy), toast and a pancake (taking the suggestion from a fellow yelper). The eggs (medium) and the hash browns were cooked perfectly. The thick cut bacon could have been cooked a little more. The pancake was delicious! The food raised from 3 stars to 4. I was able to get more coffee from another server. What impressed me the most were the two bussers. They had tables cleaned and re-set immediately. They even watched tables to clean off finished plates as needed. Our server was new but she provided such excellent service that we had to tell her manager. Our visit was on a Sunday afternoon. There was a 20 minute wait and we received a call once our table was ready. The place was packed but they turned tables over pretty quickly. We ordered corn beef hash with eggs and hash browns and French toast combo with berries plus eggs and turkey bacon. Our food was delicious and matched the service. We love visiting local spots with a mom and pop vibe and was happy to learn that while a chain, it's family owned.
