Onion Ring Stack...this is about half the order.

Great service. Nice and clean. Wonderful fish and chips. The onion rings are home made and amazing!

    Waitlist

I saved my full appetite for this. On a Sunday, We joined a 15 minute waitlist @7:15pm due to a large party. We then got sat at 7:29pm, By the time we got sat we were ready to order. Our server Nehemiah had everything cleaned and ready for us to go with the fresh croissants. Not even 10 minutes later our food was ready, fresh, and hot getting served before our beverages. Nehemiah went above and beyond to give us the best experience we could have. I've never been to a Cheddars and was out that fast and smooth. The food was great, along with the server. He deserved a great tip. 10/10 location.

    Yummy menu.

We had a Cheddar's gift card that we had received and had dined at Cheddar's for quite a while. Neither one of us wanted to cook so we decided to head to Cheddar's for dinner. We arrived right smack in the middle of the dinner run but didn't have to wait at all, we were seated immediately. The restaurant was really hopping, there were very few unoccupied tables. Our server greeted us cordially and took our drink orders. While waiting for our beverages to arrive, my wife and I looked over the menu. She's a chicken tender sort of a gal and that's what she ordered, chicken tenders with French fries and Cole Slaw. I decided on the country fried steak accompanied with mashed potatoes with cream gravy and southern green beans. I also decided to order a house salad with Bleu Cheese dressing. While we were waiting, an order of Cheddar's incredible fresh baked croissants was brought to the table. After biting in to one of them, with the icing drizzle, I thought, why not cancel the country fried steak and just eat croissants for my dinner! Heck, I'm an adult, well sort of, I can do that! After an acceptable wait, due to the restaurant being so busy, our entrees were delivered to our table. Our food was plated very nicely, the presentation was good. My wife said her chicken tenders were really good and she loved the French fries, fried and seasoned to perfection. My country fried steak was OK. I should have sent it back, but I knew how busy the kitchen was and I didn't want to wait for another one to be prepared. As you can see in the photo, there were parts of it that was really overcooked, over-fried. The coasting had separated from the steak cooking the meat inside too much, with the oil getting under the breading, the meat wasn't tender, but way overcooked. My sides, the green beans and the mashed potatoes were both very good and well prepared. At a later day, we'll head to Cheddar's once again and give them a whirl. I'll definitely order something other than the country fried steak.

    Ceasar Salad

I love coming to Cheddars. It definitely satisfies my cravings for delicious Monte Cristo sandwiches. If you've never had one, it is a must try tasty fried ham, turkey, cheese sandwich fried topped with powdered sugar and served with raspberry sauce. So good! I love the complimentary croissants and the side ceasar salad is great. Chicken tenders are good and very generous portions. Broccoli was cooked just right, and fries are well seasoned. Prices are also reasonable and portionsare good. Our server was fast and friendly and no wait time to get a table. Solid spot for a meal.

Bourbon glazed Grilled Salmon with Loaded Baked Potato & Fresh Steamed Broccoli

The Monte Cristo & salmon ARE THE BEST! Do NOT pass on complimentary butter croissants, it's sooo soft, melt-in-your-mouth good, crispy on the outside perfectly topped with a hint of sweetness from the butter drizzle. I always love their salmon, both the blackened & bourbon-glazed, generous portion with 2 sides, always perfectly cooked & seasoned (& reasonably priced!) - well-balanced moist salmon & flavor, not fishy & so soft. The monte cristo is THE BEST! We were "traumatized" by other restaurants' monte-cristo "attempts". This place does it right - ham, turkey, cheese in soft bread (not sourdough), dipped in flour & deep fried, dusted with powdered sugar, with raspberry dip. NO other way to do monte cristo! You won't get that crunch at first bite followed by the soft bread, tender juicy mix of the meat & melted cheese, & that perfect blend of savory-salty flavors, DELISH. Their sirloin steak was surprisingly tender & juicy (beyond expectation from a ribeye lover ). The burger was tasty & juicy with generous amount of fries. The side Caesar salad was WORTH IT ($3.99) - it was a full-size salad & was great. Side baked potato with bacon had generous toppings. The broccoli cheese casserole is my favorite side - generous cheese with semi soft broccoli, mildly salty. The New Orleans pasta was pretty good (reasonably priced) but could use more of some Cajun kick. The chicken strips were our least favorite food, crispy but so dry on inside, may have been left in the deep fryer too long. This place is always well-maintained & cleaned despite the crowd. There's always a wait on weekends. We got there at 4:45pm to beat the crowd, but the crowd beat us . Their turn-around was quick, we were told 20min wait but got our table in less than 10minutes. Our waiter was attentive & pleasant. Overall, this place has the almost-perfect balance of pricing, great food, portion size, & service.

Call chicken fried steak and I didn't look like it had been dipped fresh.

I love Cheddars but this one is so dirty and so gross. Be careful when you go in the bathrooms. The floors are so slippery. You can fall and break your neck because they're so dirty. The rolls were stale and the food was cold. So gross

    Tilapia and shrimp

This was my first time eating at Cheddar's, the Host was very polite and Marcos was very patient, kind and helpful. I ordered Salmon, Red Beans and Rice with steam Broccoli. My sister is not a fan of Salmon, she loved mine (so that's a plus). My daughter had the tilapia and shrimp with broccoli as well. She said is was sooo good. My sister had Monte Cristo, she said it was delicious. I wanted a strawberry margarita, I was driving so I ordered a virgin strawberry margarita, they don't offer nonalcoholic margaritas. Just something for them to consider. We'll be back

This is a Montecristo sandwich. You see on the menu for the quiz, powdered sugar as I've always gotten them.
    Rebecca C.

This is two of the four pieces of monte Cristo sandwich I got. Can you even see the powdered sugar in the bottom of the pan that's it, absolutely none on the sandwich.

I don't live in Arlington and just recently moved from Dallas to Ft Worth. While looking at properties in Arlington for the day, this looked like a great stop. The reviews were mostly strong and the pictures I could see reminded me of my favorite Dallas steak fix, Bob's Chophouse on Lemmon. It doesn't have that vintage, chic atmosphere sadly, but it is old TX, steakhouse, 80's style. Colby asked if we wanted a menu and I said yes. He brought one for us both. I asked if they had any happy hour specials which is mentioned often in their reviews. He haughtily informed me that, "They don't do happy hour" and then giggled. Yes, giggled, the only other description is snickered. We ordered a Tito's Dirty Martini and Guinness and decided to stay anyway. He served my martini slushee and a good pour on the Guinness. He simply never came back. Everyone else had nuts and their orders taken. He avoided us as if we had the Bubonic plague. After his pointed non-service, I dropped my credit card, he snatched it and dropped the check. Obviously, I won't be back but I think that was the entire point of his service.

Have been back since then. Talk about your corner hole in the wall type places. It's located in the middle of an L shaped strip building. Inside is clean, and spacious. Nothing fancy here, but plenty of tables and a few booths. They have a covered outside patio, which might even be fully enclosed, with some pool tables. The bar location is on the back wall, with lots of seating. Full bar, with a reasonable amount of draft beers, and several good ones along with the normal commercial swill. I sat at the bar both times, and got great service. First time I did the usual and checked out the salsa and queso. Both were good and didn't taste like pre made stuff. If it was, well they picked a couple of winners. The serving was more than ample, more then I could eat over the course of the visit. Second time I went back, I was going to make a point to try the onion rings since they looked so good in the pics. As I was looking at the menu I noticed they had a Montecristo sandwich. As I've mentioned before, I have yet to find anything that even remotely comes close to the holy grail of MC sandwiches, the one and only made by Bennigan's. Of course, I ordered it, and the onions rings. I'm happy to say the MC here is the closest I've ever come to find. It was really good, and the jam served with it was also pretty dead on. It was a little nasty like it should be, but not as greasy as it should be, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. The onion rings were really good, even if the batter was flaking off a bit. Anyway, I like the place, wish I could drag myself out more. Been customers here every time I've been, but not as many that should be. They also have a digital jukebox so if you're here and ever hear something bizarre playing, it's probably me. Service and staff have always been very good. They know how to make a pretty good margarita as well, and prices are very good.

We joyed every part of our dining experience (husband was a little cold but it didn't bother me)... we went today because it's my birthday and I picked this restaurant to try for our first time! We got a complimentary Prosecco for my birthday and they stopped by our table for us to sample a few new menu items (all were amazing!!) I cannot brag enough about this local restaurant!! We ordered the crispy pork for an appetizer and holy cow that sauce is 5 star!!! I teased that with white rice it would be the best ever... but so not kidding!? I had the New York strip with French fries and my husband had the Seafood Stew! My steak was yummy even though I prefer a Filet Mignon. My husband said the soup base for the seafood stew was the BEST soup base he has ever had! High compliment for sure! I had the Texas Oil Money with Woodford Reserve and that was one of the best balanced whiskey drinks I have ever had! We ended the meal with a Coconut cake (I don't love coconut) but let me tell you it was AMAZING!! The pineapple sauce you pour over the top made it a 10/10!!! I cannot wait to go back! She immediately gave recommendations for each area in the menu and when we were ordering drinks she even suggested different things based on our initial preference. For example, one of my friends asked about a whiskey sour and she recommended one of their pisco drinks instead and it was delicious! We got the yucca, dates, and lamb skewers as appetizers and didn't have a single crumb behind. Well balanced flavor with unique touches that we all appreciated. For entrees two of us ordered the lomo saltado which came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, they had sold out of the duck when my bf asked for it so they brought him a drink on the house to make up for it. He changed his order to the salmon and loved it. I ordered the paella and sadly that did take waaay too long to come out. By the time they finally brought it to me everyone else was done eating so I just asked for a to-go box. The server did apologize and brought me a drink on the house but it would've been nice to know ahead of time that the dish would take so long to prepare, because I would've chosen something else so I could eat with everyone. All in all it was great and I'll definitely come back. Hopefully I make it in before the duck is sold out next time!
