    Potatoes-- so good
    Jasmine D.

Truly enjoy going here with a friend for Sunday brunch. The wait time was quite brief. We may be waited for about 5 minutes for a party of two. It was quite busy but we were sad and served almost immediately. I believe our servers name was Tim. He was timely and did not hover too much but always showed up when we needed him. I ordered the waffle sandwich which was so good! I sucked my side for fruit and got the potatoes which were delicious. I will go back to see those potatoes. I hate that I forgot the name of the drink that I got but it was too sweet and he even gave me one to go. I will definitely come back here when I go back here. It was great service great food and a great place.

We got down on our breakfast, so this pic is what you get! This time!

Loved this place!! Y'all there are so many options here from a full array of Mexican dishes, American brunch, Tres leches and macarons and French toast and scrambled and they have gluten friendly options, their breakfast potatoes are so flavorful and yummy! I had the huevos divorciadados - i'm sure I spelt that wrong! Lol my daughter had the crispy chicken Caesar salad. I mean not Caesar salad garden salad some sort of salad. She said that the ranch is really good and she is a ranch connoisseur so that's important! Allen was super helpful and the rest of the staff was helpful and the cooks seem to be having a good time and the floors are nice and clean. Nothing is greasy! We will be back. Oh, and it's definitely more of a Home feel the perfect type of family owned like breakfast brunch, and they serve breakfast all day!

This will be a Good Day!

After passing Good Day for months my son recommended we give this place a try for breakfast. So glad we did. He ordered the chicken and waffles. He could not stop bragging about his delicious waffle and crispy fried chicken breast. Honestly the chicken breast was as large as his Belgium waffle. Coffee comes with unlimited refills and French vanilla too! I have enjoyed coffee on several visits to Good Day. But most recently in these soaring Texas temperatures iced tea is most refreshing! Service can be slow on busy weekends. But your tea, coffee and coke glass remains full! You will have a Good Day after breakfast here.

I'm not a fan of diners normally, but my friend insisted we pop in after I accompanied her to church - she said it would be worth it! It was 12pm on a Sunday - there was a line out the door but it moved quickly. We were seated in a booth and our young server (I sadly didn't keep the receipt with his name) approached us quickly and was very friendly. He didn't rush us, but rather he helped guide me thru the menu so I could make a decision. I needed that because they have a big menu! I chose a 2-egg ham omelet with one pancake - omgEE it was so good but I couldn't eat it all. I don't care for potatoes with my breakfast, but they always come with it anyway, don't they? My hash browns were fried very nicely - not mushy and not too crunchy, yum. Another reason I couldn't eat it all! My friend ordered 2 fried eggs with a variety of meats and potatoes that resembled large quarters. It all looked so homemade and she said it was yummy. I treated my friend and the entire bill was $36 - quite a good value for what we received. Definitely you should stop in here for a great meal and excellent service!

Cute southern style diner with quick efficient service. We stopped in on our way to do some shopping and they had something for everyone. Wait time was about 15 minutes. They make cakes in house and serve by the slice. Our party of three chose pancakes w side of eggs, chicken nachos, and a grilled catfish platter w vegetables. Everyone left satisfied. Sweet tea was excellent!

Its located in Grand Prairie off of State Highway 161. If you go during happy hour, they have a selection of drinks and appetizers for $7 each, when regular price is at least $15 each. Ive included my receipt so you can see my first old fashioned was $7 but I missed happy hour end time - which made my same type of old fashioned $15. And by the way, this Brown Sugar Ild Fashioned is beyond delicious!! I would probably give this a 5-star rating, but the parking is so difficult and over-crowded. I highly recommend a visit.

At that time, brunch was around $40-$45 and I truly enjoyed myself. This time for Mother's Day, it was the exact same food, but the price jumped to about $55 per person. Everything was going well until my daughter asked for a to-go container for a slice of pie. After that, the manager, Joe, walked up to our table of eight adults and two children and literally rolled his eyes and stared us down for what felt like 10-15 minutes. I would normally give courtesy to our waiter, but instead of helping, he sat there with the manager talking negatively while we were still dining. I can't even remember his name, but he appeared very unkempt. Meanwhile, the table next to us had two girls dining, and he continuously checked on them asking if they were ready to go or needed anything else before leaving. We arrived around 1 PM and by 2 PM we were already getting death stares from management, as if we had overstayed our welcome. We were not even there for two full hours, yet the entire experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. On top of a $513 bill, we still left an $80 tip, only to feel stared down over asking for one small to-go box for pie. Also worth mentioning: there are only TWO bathroom stalls while they are serving what looked like well over 150 people during brunch service, so the wait for the restroom alone was ridiculous. The food was still good, but the hospitality completely changed my opinion of this place. Prices went up, service went down, and the atmosphere felt very unwelcoming compared to Easter brunch. I'll gladly take my money back to downtown Dallas restaurants instead.

5/5 wow this place seriously impressed us!…read more I ordered the crab cake Benedict with crispy potatoes. The crab cake actually tasted like crab (not filler), perfectly poached eggs, and the crispy potatoes could not have been better. My kid ordered the French toast, and didn't use any syrup (she normally drenches everything!) It was naturally sweet and flavorful all on its own. She finished the entire plate with sausage and potatoes. We ordered two glasses of fresh-squeezed oj, and it was legit fresh and very reasonably priced - so many places overcharge for fresh squeezed juice and this place has much better quality for way less dollars. The service was excellent - multiple check ins without hovering. The staff really paid attention, and the patio seating was perfect, they set up the umbrella for us, and it was quiet and peaceful - a completely different atmosphere from inside. For $40, we got a generous amount of high-quality food and cleaned our plates. We will absolutely be back. Easily one of the best breakfast/brunch spots we've tried in the metro
