I went to Triple A Cafe on Saturday (5/9). My GPS got me lost. What's new. First thing that stood out was the energy. This place has a youthful vibe the moment you walk through the door. Young, high-energy staff and everybody was friendly. I had an adorable little waitress who was possibly high as a kite. But flower high, not the bad stuff. Honestly, it worked in everybody's favor. She was upbeat, extremely polite, and got my order right. I'm happy. The menu is one of those long double-sided laminated things with probably 50+ breakfast choices. Everybody should be able to find something. Prices looked to range around $10-17 per entrée, and the portions were solid. They also had a bunch of turkey and chicken sausage options for non-pork eaters like myself. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns, scrambled cheese eggs with onions mixed into the eggs and hash browns, plus two pancakes. Around $15. Pardon the food pics. I forgot to take them until I had already loaded everything up with every sauce known to man: ketchup, hot sauce, gravy, syrup... probably a few others. I definitely recommend this place. Visiting this area. Located them on yelp. I was able to call in an order and they confirmed correct location. 5 minute drive and my food was ready when I arrived. Greeted quickly and led to pay. Before leaving another employee told me to have a great day. Food was prepared as requested and was still warm when I arrived at my destination. They also made sure to include silverware and ketchup. Triple A Cafe in Fort Worth is everything you hope for when you walk into a classic diner. I came here after reading the reviews and it completely lived up to the hype. It is a smaller spot with a great atmosphere that feels like an old school diner, but a little more polished and comfortable than your typical hole in the wall. Easy to get to and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Service deserves a special mention. My server, Marcus, was outstanding. Easily one of the best waitstaff experiences I have had anywhere. He was friendly, attentive, polite, and genuinely appreciative. Yes sir, no sir, always checking in at the right times without hovering. He made the experience even better. For food, I asked Marcus what his favorite item on the menu was and went with the Big Tex Omelet. Fantastic choice. Huge portions, hearty and filling, and cooked perfectly. It came with a generous bowl of grits and two biscuits, all of which were excellent. You really cannot beat the value for the price. I also grabbed a slice of pecan pie to go on Marcus's recommendation and it did not disappoint. Hello gluten free pancake and toast options! I love this for me. But even if they didn't have the gf doughy stuff, I'd find plenty to eat on this menu, it's pretty comprehensive. All things breakfast (and lots of lunch, too). Usually for breakfast or brunch I just want bacon and eggs alongside something fresh, like sliced avocado or fresh tomato or an orange. Okay fine I also want toast with jelly and at least a few bites of pancake. And hash browns. Luckily Triple A Cafe has it all and their prices are fantastic. Greeted at the front door with a smile. Big open area that has a bit of a farmhouse. The menu is pretty simple and straightforward with breakfast on one side and lunch on the other. We were on our way back from DFW Airport and decided to stop for breakfast. This is a breakfast and brunch cafe and they serve breakfast and lunch anytime they're open, which to me is a plus. The breakfast and lunch menus are both quite extensive. Nice exterior and cute neat interior. Tables are divided into different sections and it doesn't feel crowded at all. Marcus, our wait person, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. My husband got eggs and made choices like a build your own. He asked for bacon, hash browns, pancakes and fruit. I ordered the Green Machine. It's egg whites with a lot of yummy green things added, except I had them hold the green peppers! I got sides of toast and fruit. Both of us enjoyed all of our food immensely. For the pancake connoisseurs out there, their pancakes are more on the chewy side and not cake like at all. Perfect for us. Parking is easy as it's in a shopping center. Food was good, honestly nothing extremely special but was good. I just can't say it was one of the most memorable meals of the trip. Stopped in after our flight landed. It's less than 10 minutes away from the DFW parking area. The dining area was very clean. There are lots of breakfast and lunch options on the menu. Prices are reasonable. We ordered omelettes with extra crispy hash browns and biscuits. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Stopped in here one early morning on our way to DFW airport. I always prefer a mom n pop restaurant and the reviews were pretty good! From the outside it looks like any other strip center breakfast place. Once you're inside it feels like the same. Then our waitress came to our table and that's when the service really shined. She was obviously part of the family that owns this and took pride in her restaurant. It was very clean and she was always filing our coffee and handled our order quickly and efficiently. I ordered the Greek omelette because I loved that but came with lamb meat and feta cheese. Wow I was super impressed when she brought my breakfast out. One of the better omelets I've had in a while. No fake eggs here. Lots of great ingredients and tasted really good. I also ordered the biscuits and grits as my side. The grits were good and the biscuit as well. Not sure they're homemade though. We stopped in for brunch on our way out of town and Triple A Cafe did not disappoint! We didn't have a wait but the wait did build up as we were eating, so get there early or have patience (or both) . The large menu selection was perfect and everything we ordered was a hit. The wait time for food after ordering was not long at all and our waiter was cheerful and didn't miss a beat! Found this yummy place near my hotel on the Yelp app and thought I'd give breakfast to go a try from there. Located in a small business strip and they share a parking lot with surrounding businesses. Walked in and it was a medium sized open space with a bar. I was greeted by staff quickly and they had my order to go with the eta they had given me. Staff were fast and friendly and got me out the door in no time. Made it back to my hotel to try and omg....my California Benedict was super delicious! All the fresh ingredients and oozing sauce. My omelette looked burnt at first and I thought I wasn't going to be good but it actually tasted delicious and was cooked just right. We cleared our plates up. Our waitress was very friendly, and our food was delivered pretty quickly. I had the fiesta bowl and it was really good, but the jalapeños could have had a little more kick to them. What a great diner to visit anytime. We decided to grab a quick breakfast before catching our flight out of DFW airport. With just enough time, we stopped in and were immediately greeted the warm and welcoming smile and "good morning!" Often when I read reviews, the excellence of the food and the restaurant is always based on some fancy dish. But I like to look at the simple, staple things that really go unnoticed but can tell the quality and attention to detail of a restaurant. In this case it was a simple cup of drip coffee. This was one of the more delicious industrial brewed,, no fanciness cup of coffees I've had in a long time. I did see the Lavazza signage so the coffee itself appears to be of the highest quality. Even for just a simple cup of morning coffee. Whatever the reason that works, fantastic. Had the chicken fried chicken with cheese grits (you can add cheese even though it's not listed on the menu) and chicken fried steak with biscuits and mini pancakes. I have to say I really do appreciate that they offer mini pancakes as a side. Usually I have to order one flapjack from the kidsmenu, or a whole order of pancakes, because they don't offer in lieu of toast or other standard sides. Thisplace does and it made me happy. The chicken and the steak were both cooked perfectly. The chicken and the steak were both moist and tender, and had actual flavor in the meat. The breading was seasoned very very well. if you like heavy flavor and saltiness in your chicken fried steak and gravy you may not like it as much, but I thought it was just the right amount of flavor texture and freshness. Of course you can always add more salt if you want it right? The venue was very clean and modern, but not too modern. Also wasn't too old-fashioned so really it was a nice comfortable place to have breakfast. They were only about three or four tables in there when we arrived so I can't comment on the noise level and a busy rush-hour, but it's probably about the same as any other restaurant. and some of the nicest service I've had in a while as well. Very pleasant, not too pushy, and made us feel welcome. If you are ever near DFW, make a point to come here. The menu is diverse and the preparation was definitely high-quality in flavor and ingredients. I'm definitely coming back when I come here again. read more
