Adult oriented review…read more... Having been an open and active swinger every minute of my adult life, I check out as many swingers "lifestyle" clubs as I possibly can. I love seeing how different clubs in different cities set themselves up. Plus, any excuse to meet new people and play with them is a good reason. My wife had some business things to handle via zoom in the hotel room so I went over to this club myself. I had just visited the one in New Orleans a few days earlier and was excited to check this one out. Of course, there is always the waivers, fees and check in stuff when new at any club. As a single female for the night, they definitely streamlined the process. Single, attractive women that swing are treated like royalty at swing clubs. This club was no different. Once was inside, having forgotten to bring anything to drink, as this club was byob, I found myself alcohol deficient. I had to barter for drinks and had fun making trades. If you get my meaning. I found this club fun, clean and had plenty of attractive, fun and play minded men and women. The staff were all pleasant and I saw nobody pushing nor violating the rules. There was a good mix of ages from mid twenties to people in their sixties. Nobody pressured me nor made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I found four like minded women and really enjoyed their company. I only stayed for about three hours but I really enjoyed it. If I lived in the Dallas area, I'd certainly be a member and spend my Saturday nights there. If swinging is your thing or you just like to watch and enjoy the vibe, this club is for you.

Just a wonderful place and good time. Me and my wife had the best time and will be back soon.read more

(English down below)…read more Saliendo del aeropuerto DFW, busqué algún restaurante que tuviera sopa de mariscos; no sé de dónde vino el antojo. Digo yo... no sé. Mejorar estos dos detalles llevaría la experiencia en El Viejón a otro nivel. ¡El Viejón, recomendadísimo! ------------------------------------- Leaving DFW airport, I found myself craving seafood soup--no idea where the craving came from. I searched for nearby options and El Viejón came up. I checked the online menu and reviews, then drove 13 minutes, only to discover a real gem. What I loved: The service was excellent. Nidia took care of us--she was not only kind, but also attentive and efficient. Adolfo, the manager, is a great guy. The simple but important things: Their plastic cups are surprisingly original. The menu is simple and humorous. Prices are fair for the generous portions they serve. What truly impressed me: The seafood soup. This kind of soup is simple: either you know how to make it, or you don't--and when you don't, it ends up like the one at Pappadeaux... something to cry about. This one, however, is loaded with seafood (crab, clams, octopus, fish, shrimp, squid, etc.). It has a subtle sweetness, and you can taste every distinct note. Highly recommended. One soup is more than enough for one person. I learned that lesson too late--after also ordering the grilled octopus. I had to get it to go because it was simply too much food. My only two complaints: The tostadas they serve come with chicken that looks like tuna but tastes like plastic. My dog was with me and wouldn't even eat it--which says a lot. Very strange. The other issue is the music: too loud and all from the same genre. If the goal is to honor Mexican culture, there are so many genres to choose from. Just saying--I don't know. Fixing these two things would take the experience at El Viejón to another level. El Viejón--highly recommended.

A second, dine-in visit provided more reasons NOT to return than to return:…read more - Prices for most things are far too high when considering location and ambiance--I mean we're not talking "fine dining". - Margarita prices are very vague and I was passed a "tequila menu" to choose from. Confused, I chose one of the cheaper options only to find out after getting bill that my margarita was $18.95! Is this Via Real?!? If so, take some lessons from them on how to make a quality margarita since this one was not $18.95 material. - 3% service charge over posted prices for using a credit card. Didn't realize that on last visit. You do that, you're telling me you never want me to return. Food was good. Just not THAT good. I will say that the entree I received was large enough for 2, which would have made the $27.50 more reasonable. But if that's the intent, mention it on the menu. But I'm not sharing a nearly $25 margarita (after tax, tip and service charge).

It's a chain. There's something about a chain restaurant that's polished and well fabricated…read more Something about it feels like a lab diamond. It's sparkly, but not intimate. It just feels very manufactured. The menu is varied. If you've read my reviews before, you know that I'm a Texa-fornian, so there are a lot of places in Texas that don't suit my palate (or my waist line.) I was easily able to find a couple of things that I would have enjoyed. Based solely on the calorie count, I picked the salmon with cauliflower rice. It was a little oily, but it was good. I cleaned the plate. It's dark inside, like a steakhouse. Not for me, but if that's your thing, you would be happy. It's clean the food's fresh and if you're a drinker, there is a lot of beer. I'm not a drinker. Maybe you're asking why did you even go? Someone gave me a gift card and someone gave my daughter a gift card, so we had to use them.

There are several appetizers that are half off including wings and pizza. Where can you get a $8 pizza with pepperoni sausage and bacon, and drinks from 8-12! This is now one of my two favorite happy hours! You can get pretty much any flavor you want margarita with no up charge like most places!!! The bartender did his thing it was bomb!!! The service was A-1 the waiter was attentive and had great recommendations. The restaurant is very nice, but you can come as you are or come dressed!
