This is a small location in Las Colinas. I met a friend for lunch here and we had great service. The young woman at the register was welcoming and friendly. She made recommendations and checked on us several times while we ate. Our food was delicious and way more than we could eat. We both took home to go containers. Their restroom was also spotless as was the restaurant. On a Saturday, it was not to crowded and the did a brisk to go business. read more

Was craving some spice and it wasn't yet 5 o'clock and most restaurants were not open nor taking orders. I found this place on my way home and BAM Found what I was looking for at O'Desi Aroma. Put my order in online and it was ready when I arrived. Got home and devoured! Got some chicken kabobs and biriyani which was exactly what I was looking for = happy me! The garlic naan was the best I've had in years and totally a surprise. I'll be adding this place to my list of local go to places for flavor and good eats. Btw - staff was super friendly and restaurant was clean and inviting. I'll be back read more

I only review Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken This restaurant isn't much in terms of dine in, but that is nothing I care about. The dishes were good, they are very tomato forward (which some like, some dislike) and lean less on the cream and rich side. The gravy is still on the thicker than thinner side, but would benefit from being slightly thicker. Overall I would say the Chicken Tikka Masala I had would rank at a 7.5/10 read more

Ordering to go was an experience. To say the least. I ordered curry chicken and got curry soup with a side of rice. Honestly, 3-4 pieces of small chicken chunks and a bowl of curry sauce/water. The curry was diluted with water and not too spicy. The cashier was nice and the restaurant seemed to be clean. I wouldn't go back because I'm doubtful the food would be better inside. read more

After flying for 18 hours I finally make it to my hotel that has a dozen restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I still opt to order DoorDash because I'm in the mood for Indian food which goes better with my dietary restrictions. So, I order the combo. To my surprise I get my food and there's no rice. So I call to be informed that in direct conflict with not only the DESCRIPTION but the PHOTOS as well, the combination does NOT come with rice. So NOW I have 2 saucy dishes and no Balsamic RICE. Since I'm pissed I might as well tell you I didn't get any utensils & my samosas were greasy. I'm pissed n even more important disappointed. I'm so upset I'm not even going to talk about the quality of the food. read more

Stopped by today for lunch. Ordered 12oz Dabba Chicken with butter naan. Ordered extra butter naan as well. Dabba chicken was creamy and good! Butter Naan was meh! It is gives you are feeling that it is a frozen naan heated up. They need to up their Naan Game! read more

I stubbled into this spot late one evening for a quick dinner with my friend. Ordered samosas to start (photographed) and they were nicely cooked, but were average in terms of flavor. The garlic naan was nice, and our main dishes were okay. Unfortunately, it just fell a little short of what we were expecting. The service was a little dismissive (not very helpful when we asked questions) and we felt like we were being rushed out. Seems like a nice spot for lunch, so I'd come back to give it another try if I was in the area. read more

We really enjoyed ODA. We opted to eat on site and the cashier/server was very attentive. The food was great with nice sized portions to have leftovers. Will definitely be back when we are in the area. read more

O'Desi is a smaller sized restaurant located in the Las Colinas area near many other restaurants, and next to Nothing Bundt Cake. They serve all types of Indian dishes and special curries, many of which are priced reasonably . For instance, with the combo meal you get an entree, rice, a side, and naan for $9.99. With this meal, you can add more sides and varied naan for a low cost as well. --Average Food Cost(s): $$ --Food: Combo Chicken Curry Meal ($9.99) Butter Masala I absolutely LOVED this butter masala! This is the first Indian food I've had in the DFW, and it blew me out the water. The chicken was tender and the flavor really popped. Dal Mekhani (incl.) This is something I've never had before, but it seemed similar to lentils. It was very good and full of flavor. Basmati rice (incl.) Had some kind of granish on it, and tasted very fresh. It was delicious and I could've eaten it on it's on. Cheese Naan ($3.29) It's like regular naan but with cheese mixed into it! It wasn't burnt or anything and it tasted amazing. --Seating: lots of tables, and some barstool style seating along the wall. --Location: great area! Surrounded by a lot of businesses. Plenty of parking. --Service: good! I ordered online and the staff quickly got my order not too long after I walked in. read more

I had a catering order from them, Food was really awesome and delicious, exceeded my expectations and even expectations of all my guests. Each of the item was yummy and quantity was great for the group of people. Thank you to your team of people for making my son's birthday even more special with such delicious food. Shout out to Akila and Andre read more

I went here last month and the service was poor, but the main issue was the chicken tiki masala was more of a tomato base than a cream base and that is definitely not what we prefer. The food wasn't terrible, but it was definitely not great or comparable to the other Indian cuisine I've had in the DFW metroplex. I was surprised to see the many good reviews which is what led me to try this place. read more

So glad I found this new-ish spot in Irving for spinach curry! I can't speak to a ton of things on the menu as I like my staples: spinach curry and naan! I've only done takeout here, but I'd love to dine in when this pandemic is over as it's a cute space. I've had the mixed veg and chicken curry, mild or medium heat and it all tastes fantastic. The curry here is smoother than others I've had (no discernible pieces of spinach) but spot-on flavor and I really like their naan (especially the cheese naan!). Plus the portion is generous so I usually get 3 servings out of it. Favorite dessert so far is the gulab jamun (not pictured, at it too fast) which is like a donut hole saturated in some mildly sweet nectar. It tastes sinful so I only order that every other visit, for the sake of my waistline. Customer service is fantastic. Always friendly and when I accidentally called my order into the Plano location yesterday and went to Irving to pick up my food, they were very gracious and whipped up a fresh order in 10mins flat while telling me I was not the first person to make the error. Friendly service and great food, they are doing everything right at O'Desi read more

First off, I have to say I really like the way they labelled their family meal packages on the delivery app I used - WFH Survival Kit - points for that during these testing times. ODA seems to be new as I haven't had a chance to dine in before curbside pickup and delivery became the norm, but will definitely do so once things are back to normal. Their mutton biryani was without doubt the best I've had in the city. The quantity can easily serve three hungry people, and they are very generous with the amount of protein they pile into the dish - they DO NOT skimp and I mean it. The meat itself was so tender and flavorful. I highly recommend you try this dish if you decide to check this restaurant out. No complaints about the Indian breads - the rotis and plain naans were alright, and the side order of the dal makhni (dark lentils in a buttery sauce) was good. The kadhai paneer though lacked a bit of seasoning for me, and the bell peppers weren't cooked enough to my liking. But like with the biryani, the amount of paneer they throw in here is generous. I'd totally recommend this place to get your Indian food craving fix in the city. read more

The sweet and spicy Chicken 65, flavorful garlic naan, and the indulgence of dipping it into the chicken tikka masala curry created a delightful combination. A solid 10/10. The mango lassi was creamy and refreshing. Customer service was top notch. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was helped with great options to pick from the menu. The first sponsored ad for Indian food was also the closest to us -- so we ordered and were SO happy! We ordered chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, lamb biryani, samosas, and naan. All were absolutely superb. The order was ready when we got there to pick up and everyone was so friendly and happy! Top rating and highly recommend. read more

Clean place, fair to good food. Nothing great but acceptable tase and flavor. The location is in a strip mall. Ambience is clinical and not conducive to fun or family entertainment. Overall, ok for individual lunch or a party of 2-4 people but not a place for conversation or entertainment. read more

Went for lunch with a friend. We ordered a meal combo with chicken tikka curry and dal makhni, spinach paneer curry, chicken aachari and tikka kebabs, veggie Manchurian, naan and for dessert ..mung dal halva. EVERYTHING was delicious, fresh and served piping hot. Food was full of flavor but not overwhelming spicy. Service was wonderful. This is Indian food at its best and prices were very reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Okay...not to rant but I had dinner again at Desi Aroma and felt compelled to post another review. The meal was amazing. I had the chicken Nazakat and it was amazing! A rich creamy curry laced with cashews. Next time I am going to try the chicken Lababdar. They've added several new items and they all look really good. So glad we have this in Irving. hands down the BEST INDIAN food in Irving read more

I got the Korma with paneer and garlic naan and samosas and literally everything was so delicious and they're so nice and quite affordable!! It was fast and fresh and such a great ambiance. Curry cravings are real! So I came here because they had good reviews! The cashier was super nice and helpful but all their curries were made with dairy milk and couldn't be substituted so I unfortunately couldn't get any. I did however, get an order of samosas and some roti since they both were the vegan options on the menu. The samosas were good. You should check them out. read more

I've been coming here for a year and a half and the food and service is always amazing! They keep the place so clean also!

I had the Butter Chicken. It was super delicious and the staff was friendly. I will definitely come back.

My favorite Indian restaurant out of any city I've ever lived in! The butter marsala chicken is the best and definitely get the samosas too.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture of all of the food in their containers but everyone was packaged nicely. The smells were so fragrant and food was delicious! The regular vindaloo was a little spicy so be careful if you're not into spice. If you're a spice lover like me, get the spicy! Tandoori chicken was moist and the biryani was good. The samosas were huge and a hit with our family! The portions are perfect for sharing and they always have BOGO deals on Uber eats. All of the items in our order were on the BOGO list. read more

PROS: The food is delicious! The curries are a burst of flavors that awaken every tastebud CONS: UberEats menu options doesn't state that rice isn't included with your order.
