We absolutely loved it and could not stop from eating. Felt like as if our mom or skilled grand mom back home cook and serve us. We also ordered egg omelet spicy which was perfectly cooked with crunchy onions, green chillis and cilantro. While savoring this meal my husband was craving for yummy hot rasam and we were served piping hot pachi pulusu style rasam freshly tempered with loads of aromatics. the best for throat on a cool day. We also had salt lassi which was super refreshing and in cute cup with lids. The restaurant owner and head chef is managed by the same person whom we and folks at Ahaa referred to her as Akka (a term for elder sister in Telugu). A sweet lady who talked to us and gave recommendations. She kept checking on us often and was always attentive to our likings. Price is good and quantity is plenty. Location is inside DaysInn motel in a hall. Not something I liked but its worth it for the homely tasty fresh authentic food. Adding this to the must visit place everytime we visit Dallas.. I've been here twice and had the cauliflower Manchurian with gravy the vegetarian noodles and their fries with gravy. And when I tell you, it was a 10 out of 10 both times please believe me. This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience.

I haven't had vada pav sliders before but the filling is kind of like fried samosa filling without the dough. It's good. The serving size of the biryani was very impressive. You can see from the photo that they fill the container and then add another mound of rice on top of that - basically 2 servings (we took one home). And they didn't skimp on the chicken either! The chicken is cooked perfectly, the sauces are a great complement and this is an excellent dish. The Lunch Thali gives you a lot of bang for your buck and mine included ~5 pieces of fish fry, about the same amount of veg pakora, yogurt dip, chicken curry with rice, 2 different soups, a naan/tortilla thing, and a carrot dessert (like a halwa). All had good flavor and the soups have a nice spicy kick to them. However, since all the dishes for the thali come off the lunch line (ie all premade), the tortilla, fish and pakoras had been sitting out for awhile and not too hot. Had they come out fresh from the fryer, I might have given this experience 5 stars. As it stands, I'll probably be back for lunch anyways - and the thali is available 7 days a week!

But not if you're not going to train the employees the difference between a dosa and a samosa. Pretty much my worst dosa experience in 8 years in DFW.

The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! Will absolutely be back!

The Himalayan thali was the highlight naan so soft it felt like clouds, and lentil curry that carried deep, cozy flavors. The chowmein with lamb and chicken had that smoky stir-fry kick, and the momos were a joy to try. The butter tikka momos were creamy and rich, while the choila momos with the chef's sauce brought a spicy spark that stayed with me. The drinks matched the season perfectly. The Gurkhas Old Fashioned was smooth with a twist, and the hot rum punch felt like warmth in a glass just right for winter. The place itself was cozy, with a vibe that made me want to linger. Even during busy hours the staff stayed friendly, though the food took a little longer to arrive. Still, the service felt welcoming. Altogether, the mix of food, drinks, and atmosphere made the evening memorable in its own way.
