Place is no frills, clean and has casual seating. They have so many momo options and the portion sizes are pretty decent with each having 10 of them. Service is fast and mostly self serve. For the four of us, we got their Himalayan chow mein, fried rice, momo 65 and their plain steamed momos. Everything was super flavorful and authentic. we got their mild spice flavor and even that packed a punch for the noodles and rice. My favorite was the momo 65, stole the show with its spicy, creamy base that drenched the momos. Solid place, I think it's best for takeout and their momos that hit it out of the park.
Momo2Go is a fantastic Nepali momo (dumpling) restaurant you need to try when in Irving. The place is casual and quick lunch friendly options. The food can be customer for the momos to be fried or steamed. Momos can be vegetarian or chicken filled. You can get them in several different sauces my favorite is Tandoori or Afgani. The momos are drenched in creamy sauce and the spice level can be customized to your liking from mild to very spicy. They also have great fried rice and noodle options to fry out. The food comes out fresh and piping. You order at the counter and they hand you a buzzer to come pick it up when it's ready. The service is quick and easy.
Great spot for authentic MoMos!!! SoooOoooooo many momo options!!! You must try them all!!! The dumpling to filling ratio is on point!! You will not be disappointed for sure!!! We got ours in the gravy- simply delicious and definitely leaving you wanting more!! Favs: butter chicken and Manchurian- if you're sensitive to spicy, get mild! These definitely have a kick!! This place is super busy!!! It's hard to find a seat, but not impossible, be prepared to wait for a bit! The service was quick and efficient!
Delicious momos! We came here for the first time tonight and tried several dishes - the fried crispy chili momo, butter chicken momo, creamy Szechuan momo, and Afghani momo, along with the paneer chili. I really enjoyed all of these, but my favorite would have to be the butter chicken momo, which had a delicious filling and a rich & creamy sauce. The momos themselves were perfectly soft and served with a generous amount of sauce. The only thing I would change is to order chicken with the creamy Szechuan momo; we chose beef with this one, and it was difficult to cut the momo in half. We also ordered beef with the Afghani momo, but the beef in that one seemed a lot softer. The inside of the restaurant is very casual. You first place your order up at the counter, and you can either take it to go or dine in at one of the tables. We will definitely be back for more momos!
This place is quite good! I've come twice now and enjoyed the items I've gotten. They have a good mango lassi to sip on while waiting. Additionally, they have good momos. I've gotten their Delhi Masala and Afghani Momos - both are really good. I will say that the flavor of the sauces are similar enough so I'm curious to know what the dry momos taste like. While their momos are not vegan, they do have some good vegan options. I really enjoy the Szechuan noodles and the chili tofu with gravy. The tofu is fantastic, large cut and well fried cubes. It's perfectly tender! "Bangin" as my friends would say. This place is very casual and offers a good price for the amount of food you get. The workers are kind and offer suggestions based on what's popular. This is more of a place to get a quick and casual bite, but has ample seating inside.
The rave reviews are well worth it and this has become my favorite spot for plain old steamed momos or momos with some great twists. The restaurant is charming and conveniently located right off 635. Plenty of parking is available. To-go orders are well packed in branded containers and not in the usual plastic boxes. Dine in orders are placed at the counter and you pick up the order when the buzzer beeps. Have tried different momos here and all of them have been great. They do justice to spice levels, so be cautious if you are ordering something spicy. The momo sauce is awesome and gives the needed kick to mild orders. I've tried Momo 65, Afghani momo, Tikka momo and malaai chaap. Tried the Himalayan Special fried rice and chowmein as well. The food here certainly gives a comfort food vibe with a homemade flavor. Pricing : Not inexpensive for a plate of 6 to 8 momos but well worth the price. Will I visit again? : Undoubtedly!
Interesting experience. Many Indian dishes converted to the Nepalese style of Momo's (think soup dumplings). Was only able to try the butter chicken momo, but many more on the menu that I will be trying. Great flavor, but did not have the heat I thought it would (asked for spicy). Also, got the masala coke (they have a regular fountain as well). Will be back to see if they can kick up the heat for me.
First time trying momo. I had the Butter Chicken Momo and they were delicious, the sauce was very flavorful. It is a generous portion. Service was great and fast. Came for lunch at 11:30, the place was not packed, you order the food at the counter and can take to go or eat there. I will definitely be going back.
Yooooooo - these are the best momos in DFW! I've been twice now and was super impressed both times with the sheer complexity of flavors in all the dishes, which is a fusion of Himalayan/Nepalese with some Indian and Chinese mixed in. YOU MUST ORDER the afghan momos. When you order you can determine which of 3 spice levels and if you want beef, chicken or vegetable fillings. The afghan momos come with an amazing, creamy savory sauce and is the best thing on the menu. The momo 65 is really good also, and the red sauce has a hint of sweetness in it. Chowmein and paneer are also worth getting. They give you a red sauce on the side which isn't spicy but adds a lot of flavor and saltiness to any of the dishes - definitely recommend adding it to the noodles. Mango lasso is very good - thick and satisfying. We also tried the masala coke, which is very interesting. The spices they add to the coke cut the sweetness of the soda a bit and is an unusual combination. I thought it was ok but my son loved it. Bottom line is ya gotta try this place at least once - you won't be disappointed!
We had been skeptical to try this place for awhile until my husband's coworker mentioned how good it was. We have now been back half a dozen times and its equally as good each time. The line was pretty long the first night we decided to try it. I should have called in the order before getting there, my mistake. And waited in a 20 min line before even ordering. The food however was worth it. The butter chicken momo's are the BEST item we have tried and consistently good. The fried rice is less greasy and different than chinese fried rice if you are looking for an alternative. We have found its about $45 for 3 entrees.
I've been to this momo spot multiple times before (mostly for to go orders) and it was kind of a hit or miss last time, so I wanted to give it another try. This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience. read more
this was our second choice restaurant, we wanted to actually go to a buffet, but it was too crowded, so we ended up here instead. Glad we did... I've never had nepal food before and i must say i can't believe i waited all this time to taste it. We ended up getting the Butter Chicken Momo and the Himalayan Kitchen Special Chow Mein (Beef) both for around 34 bucks. I know its a bit pricey for something that's fast and not at a full service restaurant, but i think it was worth it. The burst of flavor was intense on the momos... I really enjoyed the sweet and umami taste of the butter chicken sauce. one hack is to take a small bite of the momo and then fill the inside with sauce and then eat the whole momo. The chow mein was also really good and has a nice kick to it. This place is fairly close by my office and i'll be back. read more
Still a good place with kind service. Unfortunately we just didn't like the flavors we ordered this time around. Here's what we got: - Steamed Chili Momo: we thought this would be akin to dumplings we get a Chinese restaurants and would have chili oil. Unfortunately, that was not the case and instead had a lot of gravy that tasted like it was made with ketchup. We were not a fan, but others could be. - Manchurian momo: this was good. Tasted like Manchurian. Wish it was spicier. - Honey chili fries: not very spicy and the fries weren't very crispy. All-in-all, we still like the place and see us coming back to try other flavors. read more

Small, speedy momo shop with very flavorful food. First impression was a 10/10. Medium spice level was just enough. Ordered the chicken - creamy szechuan momo which was great. Lots of sauce and 10 momos for $16.08 with tax. A little pricey, but filling. read more

WOW!! I have literally zero bad things or improvement areas to offer momo2go. This spot is in an unassuming strip mall with other restaurants in the Coppell area. The food is AMAZING! Momos are Nepalese dumplings that can be just pan fried or served with a sauce. I arrived for lunch with a small group at around 11:30 on a random weekday. The spot had people in it but not many. The reviews were so we had some expectations. Boy did momo2go deliver! We ordered about 6 different momos (based on the recommendation of the cashier) and also got a Szechuan noodle dish. The food came out promptly and we grabbed some of the food boats by the drink station so we could share. The ambiance is nothing to write home about but it is clean and set up well for a fast casual experience. Everything is served in 2 go containers which makes taking leftovers home easy (and you will have leftovers!). Each dish came with 8-10 momos (aka dumplings). All are stuffed with a great size portion of meat or veggies. The favorites were the chili65 and the tikka ones. Melt in your mouth amazingness. The Szechuan noodles are not to be missed. They also have a full menu of other foods and I am sure they are tasty. We couldn't finish everything so we grabbed some handy container tops and were all set to take them home without having to repack everything. Wow! Momos to go By far the Best momos I have ever eaten. Got different types of momos for a get together and only one box remained in the end, and that too with a huge potluck feast available as a choice. The varieties ordered were: Steam veg momos, The Kurkure Veg momos (personal fav), The Afghani veg, And Tandoori Veg All were just above standard grade, really fresh, very delicious ! I will go to the extent of mentioning that if you have not tried these, you are missing out on something. Now I have a Must Visit international cuisine in Dallas. read more

Momos are a type of dumpling from the Nepal region. I'm a sucker for any dumpling which is why I loved this spot. I got to try the Butter Chicken & Creamy Szechuan momos. The butter chicken momos were a personal favorite because of the creamy and flavorful curry. The creamy Szechuan momos had a spicy kick that left you wanting more. I also got a mango lassi and pineapple "mojito" to cool down with. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and wish it was closer to me! read more

We tried their Manchurian momo and tikka momo, both were so so good! Loved it! Will be going back to try other options. They have momos, noodles, fried rice and other items on the menu as well. The momo filling is generous and delicious. Each order gives you about 10 momos. Generous portions and flavorful, what's not to like! Highly recommend this place for momos!! read more

Well I found this place by accident while heading to Taco C. haha. The name intrigued me and the 5 star reviews were on point. So I figured why not be adventurous. I had to check it out. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The food was very flavorful, made fresh on the spot and fantastic! I've never had Himalayan before, but would definitely have it again. It was great! A very quaint little place and very clean. Kind of a hole in the wall, but it is well worth your time if you're in the area. The service was great and the lady at the register was very helpful in helping me decide what to get. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to locals, visitors and the likes. I love dumplings of all kinds, but momos have a special place in my heart. Momo2Go has great portion sizes so we were able to turn our lunch into leftovers as well! We ordered a dry gobi manchurian, crispy chili momo that are twice fried, and the Himalayan beef fried rice that features more Indian-based spices. If we went back, I would really struggle to want to try something new because I loved every dish! Our struggle was ordering too much food because our food didn't keep its crispness as we ate a little of everything in each bite. The staff was great with letting me ask questions about all the ingredients, which was a huge plus! If you're allergic to sesame seeds, make sure you ask about the dishes you're eating because most of the chutneys already have them in there. They were able to put a difference sauce for me though! Lots of parking outside and a beautiful mural inside. It is popular for lunch on weekdays with all the office buildings around so consider going early or taking it to go! read more
Momo2Go is so delicious! The momos are extremely flavorful and there's a ton of options for momos. I tried rhe Schezwan fried rice, Crispy chilli momo, and Creamy Schezwan momos. All three items were so good! Spice level is modifiable. The service was also great and there's a ton of seating inside. read more

Tikka Momo (right), spicy delicious, recommended by staff. Afghani Momo (left), described as Alfredo like sauce, its pretty good; also recommended by staff if you don't like spicy. Traveling for work and this was my first time here, staff was friendly and happy to suggest. Seems authentic. Look forward to traveling back to Dallas and stopping here again. Tikka Momo will not disappoint if you like spicy (with sweet finish). read more

We got the tandoori veggie steamed and the butter chicken steamed medium spicy. don't sleep on this place! So delicious, place is clean, service is nice. I don't just hand out 4 star reviews, but this needs to stick around. Highly recommend. read more
Came back again with more colleagues. Same order plus additional dumplings. The chow mein is great and I can understand why this place went from food truck to a small restaurant. Highly recommended for the chow mein with chicken. Dumplings are good but can be dry depending on which type you order. They still taste great! read more

Outstanding! Walked in and ordered a variety to go. The momo are great- both dry and the sauced, vegetarian and meat momo were perfectly cooked. The chili paneer even though sauced kept its fried texture. We loved it all! So happy they're right up the street from me. Great customer service to boot. Can't wait to try other dishes. read more
