Peak is located in Irving and caters as a late night food spot. The food is Nepali cuisine which is similar yet uniquely different than Indian. We tried the chicken lollipop which was crispy and juicy deep fried chicken. Chatpate is puffed rice dish with onions and tomatoes it's a great accompaniment to drinks We also tried chow mein but I forgot to take pictures. I've been here numerous times for momo's (they have a vegetarian momo platter which showcases all the different types styles of momo's. They have great chatpate snack too and if you like spice ask for the extra spicy. Service is quick in store but also to go. Ambiance at times can be loud but overall it's a fun atmosphere and a fun place to go later on at night. They have a full bar as well, the seating area is very spacious. read more

Had a few hours to kill and popped into here to catch a basketball game and grab a drink and some food. Glad i did. They have large menu focused on Indian foods. Recommend trying the chicken lollipops and the sauce that comes with it pairs so well with a nice sweetness and spicy twang to it at the end. Peak is a cozy sports bar and restaurant. We sat in a booth ordered a momo platter, chowmein and chicken sizzler between the four of us. Within fifteen minutes we got our food. The chowmein was so good, flavorful and had an excellent touch of roasted chickpeas which we loved so much that we got a second round out of greed more than anything. I would recommend getting their momo platter for sure, so pillowy soft and flavorful. The chicken sizzle was probably the disappointment of the meal and I wouldn't recommend. The chicken was dry and the marination hadn't fully reached the inside. Overall though friendly staff, solid ambiance and great Nepali find! read more

A little hidden gem of a spot. The servers are kind and the food is decently priced and not to mention, consistently delicious. I last ordered the daal makhani... bomb, samosas and fries. I would not recommend the fries though. They will try to charge you 7 dollars for like 10 fries(literally) even with the menu says 3.99. Just don't get the fries. I was looking forward to having a great dinning experience here with great food. Unfortunately the food disappointed. The wait service was very good, especially considering how busy it was on that Saturday night. I order a Daphne Effect (Malibu Rum, Grenadine, Pineapple Juice, Blue Curacao), Cheese sticks, and Pork Sejuwa (Pan-fried pork marinated with ginger garlic paste and flavored with Chitwan style spices, grilled and served with bhuja, bhatmas, aloo achar). My wife had the Goat Masala. My wife's goat was very tough and extremely salty this made it inedible. My Pork Sejuwa, was good in flavor but it wasn't cooked in a way so the pork would be tender. The cheese sticks was the highlight of my meal. They're were good. They're pretty much mozzarella sticks but named differently. My Daphne Effect was good but watered down. The waitress noticed we didn't eat our meals. I didn't even bother sending it back, because the meals took about 40 minutes and I didn't want to wait that long again. The waiter did remove the goat masala from the check at the end. This was much appreciated it. I'm thinking we just got a badly cooke food night from their chef. January 2022 I experienced delicious appetizers and a good ambiance, but pity about the main course and the forgotten, soggy French fries. We started the evening with a couple of drinks and slowly but surely started attacking the appetizers. Let me tell you, the appetizers were delicious! We ordered masala papad to start off and made our way to paneer chilli (which was amazing!) and ended our grand tour of the appetizer section with sizzler chicken momo (I'd take a bullet for this, theoretically, of course!). The poor little French fries were soggy by the time we tried our FIRST MOMO, I knowwwww. Anyways, we were left pretty satisfied overall at this point and full, to be honest. Our stomach had barely any space left for the main course, but we ordered something to try out anyways. We ordered the chicken fried rice to end our day but that turned out to be a little disappointing. The ambiance was good with dim lights, big screens for sports and good music. This place has a cool vibe and I liked it. The service, however was a big miss. They kept on forgetting what we ordered and had to ask us every time what else did we order and what was missing. The drinks were fantastic and there's a bar area with high top seating which some would prefer during a crowded weekend night. Overall, I really enjoyed the drinks, appetizers and the cozy ambiance. The appetizers were great and I'd like to believe that the next time when I visit, the service would be better than before. On a first visit I don't (usually) go over 5 stars, as if it's good, I'll be back, and do an update. I'd be tempted to change this strategy, as it was a good experience, but not quite 5 stars. This was actually or second choice for the area. So I can't recall the actual dishes, but I think, to be different, I did order from the Tibetan section of the menu (I think it was the Momo). Other two dishes were more Indian. Perhaps a vindaloo? Nothing disappointed. So the place is unusual. If it wasn't for someone outside, who said, "It's really good." as we walked past, we might have taken a pass. I don't know why, maybe it was just a weird vibe. But we went in, and it was OK. There was a LARGE group in the back, so the place was kinda loud. And, as the name implies, it is a bar too. So I realize this review is not all that helpful, but I did want to say, don't pass on this place just because of looks. I realize most won't, but just in case. Bottom line: It was a good find. PS. I have been to this place several times. The food is okay, few hits and few misses. The service was really fast when we went there last weekend! It was quite busy still our food came within minutes except for the sizzler. The people are nice and friendly. Talking about the food, I have tried chicken/mutton momo ( fried, kothe,jhol). All were good, no complaints there. The serving size was quite good as well. I have also tried their chowmein which was average as well. Other than that, we had bandel sandheko, sukuti and it's just there's this one spice that's added there and it's very overpowering. I love spicy food but I feel like this one will benefit if the spices were a little more balanced/muted. The chicken lolipop were great, crispy but not oily. The dish I wouldn't recommend is sizzler. First of all, it takes quite some time (understandable) but it's not sizzler at all. It was served on cast pan and the noodles and chicken were on a cabbage leaf (?). The chicken was not good at all, basically boiled chicken with some kind of gravy and the noodles had no flavor whatsoever. And the fries were the worst, soggy and frozen. I got the Chicken Jalfrezzi ($9.99) along with a mandatory mango lassi ($3.99) and garlic naan ($2.25). I was a bit taken aback by the amount of grease I could see in the dish, which you can see in the pic, but I ate it with gluttonous glory anyway. I totally expected the chicken to be those gross, fatty cuts based on the grease, but that was not at all the case -- good cuts of actual muscle, yum! That chicken went to the gym. And, the garlic naan was fresh and good. And, the mango lassi, while smaller and a little pricier than I'm used to, tasted as great as anywhere else. Altogether, I was stuffed. Stuffed. I should have saved some for leftovers, but I was in transit on my way back to Seattle, so... waste or waist was the choice, right? Bottom line: This food is yummy, although when you walk in and feel the bar feel of the place you would not expect it. Defy expectations and try this place out! read more

What a fun and cool late night spot with pumping music, excellent service, bar drinks until 2 am, and kitchen serving Nepalese & Indian food until 1 am. Momos are the tastiest thing here. You can get them traditionally steamed (best), or fried, but they will fry them dark and hard unless you ask for a light fry. Get a side of tamarind chutney additionally on the side if you like some sweet with your savory. Garlic naan were light on garlic, thin but authentic, definitely best when fresh (one of our orders was not). Tikka masala was a little low flavor on mild, I'd ask for medium next time. Sometimes kitchen can get confused and not bring all food out together, especially late. But otherwise this is a fine spot for a late night bite out with friends. read more

Mutton Sekuwa- good, mutton is a little dry, but the sides were my favorite. The fried soy beans are super good Tandoori chicken - skip. Least favorite dish. This is a hard dish thoguh - not too much flavor and dry Chicken Kothey momo - yummy! I liek the sauce and the dipping soup with it too. Chatpate- pretty good with rice crispes. There were so many diff textures and flavors. I liked the wai wai better thoguh. Wai Wai Sadeko- my favorite! It's kind of like eating dry crunchy ramen but with so many yummy bits in here. So many different flavors and textures. Loved this dish. It's such an odd combo bc it's legit like a sports bar. Nothing would tell you in decor or Anythign that's it's himalayn, Tibetan, Indian. There are a lot of vegetarian, chicken, pork, and goat options, (and more) to choose from. The cocktails were pretty good. we order the mango margarita from cocktails and for food, we order their chicken chili lollipops and vegetable fried rice with mushroom Matar masala which comes with your choice of naan. Peak is a pretty nice restaurant and bar, although it does feel more focused on the bar aspect. The dishes are a mixture of Nepali and Indian foods, and while there may be more authentic Nepali restaurants in DFW, every dish I've had here has been pretty good. Naturally, you'll want to try the momos, which come in steamed, fried, and spicy variants. I've enjoyed all of those types, but the spicy one has got to be my favorite. A close second would be the drums of heaven/chicken lollipops. Those come crispy, hot and spicy...a great pairing to a cocktail or a cold glass of beer. The varieties of tandoori and curries are quite delicious too, especially the Sadekos. I haven't tried any of the biriyanis, but I've heard that those are pretty spot on too. Peak is definitely a good spot to visit during a major sport event...spicy food and decently priced drinks are a winning combination. read more

A friend of mine introduced me to this place in 2018 and it was great. My favorite thing was the sadek badel crispy pork belly which was really good. I went again in 2020 with my cousin and ordered the same thing and some momos which was also really good. The service was good as well. However fast forward to 2024. I wanted to introduce my gf to Himalayan/Nepali food for the first time and I sorta hyped it up but it just wasn't as good as I remembered. We didn't finish any of our food (sadeko badel, garlic cheese naan, chicken vindaloo and chicken 65 momos). The service was awful as well. I could see the waitress on her phone behind the bar and she did not check on us at all. I had to get up out my seat and walk to the bar to get her attention. Sad to say I will not go back and the food wasn't good enough to convince my gf that Himalayan/Nepali food is good which I know it is. found this spot on yelp at 1am stuck on a layout and it is service is a bit slow but they were crazy busy. love the sports bar atmosphere and the crowd was young and rowdy. I feel like an old man seeing how hard these yuppies were going and I was just drinking water and enjoying a Tibetan meal... at 1am during a Copa America match with Messi vs Neymar so I kind of asked for it. The food is amazing! I would come back to Dallas just to try more dishes on the menu. I spoke to this guy at the bar who I can only assume is the owner. They make their momo's(dumplings) in house and their Naan also. you can really tell they care about the quality of their food. The prices were just right at about 9-12$ a dish they have happy hour menu prices too 4-7pm M-F. I had the butter chicken with garlic Naan and it was comparable to some of my favorite spots in NJ (NJ has great Indian food) that I grew up with. I've only had Tibetan food once in Boston and there is no comparison, Peak is better, way better. Honestly, they arent in the same league. Overall, the atmosphere and 1am during a semifinal soccer match is electric . is it family friendly? not at 1am it isn't but then again why would you have your kids out here at 1am. don't come here. but if you wanted to be immersed in a group of young lively soccer fans that should've probably stopped drinking several whiskeys ago then this is the spot for you! if you come during regular dinner hours, I am sure it fine and the food is worth it! I'd suggest you bring a couple friends and order a bunch of dishes to try. Okay, this place had mixed reviews, however, I ignored and gave it a try! I was mind blown with the taste of the food and amazing customer service. Being from Nepal and having explored almost all Nepali restaurants around Irving area, I didn't had high expectations. However, this place surprised me! The place is well decorated for a sports bar theme, clean tables, and excellent service. We ordered some the favorites, Beef Momo, Sukuti, Badel, Chowmein, and WaiWai Sadeko. The Badel and Beef Momo was solid good. Very rich in flavor and definitely a winner! The cover of the Beef Momo was cooked perfectly. Came with side of two types of achar (sauce) and a clear soup. The Badel had a spicy and citrusy taste to it because of the lime. I wasn't a big fan of chicken Momo as the top of outer cover wasn't steamed properly. It was raw. Chowmein was good, felt like the ones we eat back home. WaiWai Sadeko was good, however, to my personal taste it had a little too much of lemon in it. All in all good food with good portion. Now coming back to customer service, the ladies did an amazing job. They explained all the menu, kept checking back, shared some highlights of the place like live music, we could see their work and effort. Definitely going back and recommending to those who are looking to explore Nepalese/ Tibetian/Indian cuisines. PS. We came in for a quick drink and had a pretty disappointing experience. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and I noticed the waitress poured a lot but didn't mind. She then decided to POUR SOME BACK INTO THE BOTTLE. Which is illegal? I took a sip. WARM. Didn't bother to let me know it wasn't refrigerated beforehand. So I asked for an another glass and she let me know that she poured the freshest bottle and didn't know if the others were even still good. She insisted I could try it but I declined. My boyfriend got a Dos Equis that was flat and didn't bother finishing. Would not recommend and will not be coming back. read more
