Beautiful and clean interior with tons of flat screens tv to watch the game. Fantastic drinks made by barista and she's very friendly, nice and outgoing with lots of energy. Food was delicious and right on point.

While other servers seemed more focused on socializing with regulars than doing their jobs, Taylor stood out immediately. She stayed engaged, checked in at the right times, and made sure everything was handled without needing to be asked twice. That's not luck--that's professionalism. She brings a mix of intelligence and humor that makes the experience better without being forced or over the top. More importantly, she executes. Orders are right, timing is right, and the overall experience feels intentional--not neglected. If you're going to Rowdy Cowboy, don't leave it to chance. Ask for Taylor by name. She's an asset to that place, and based on what I saw, she's setting a standard others there aren't meeting

It's…read moreactually a very fun experience, as long as you don't bring your significant other or care about food. My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (5 Stars if you only care about service) Atmosphere - It's pretty electric. There is a large bar in the middle, tons of bar seating, and during my Thursday visit for lunch, it was packed. The vibes are good, and tons of TVs are showing sports. If you have an XY chromosome, this is your place. 1 Star. Service - Rowdy Cowboy is known for having great servers who are very friendly (and nice to look at). All tables were taken, so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were fast, efficient, and very friendly. They got my order wrong, but I don't care. Their friendliness made me not care. 1 Star. Food - Look, if you're here, you're not here for the food. I started with the Steak Frites. The steak was super tender but lacked seasoning. The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders. I didn't mind because our bartenders were so friendly, but the sliders were just ok. Remember, this place is not known for the food. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Rowdy Cowboy knows exactly what it does well, and believe me it does it well. In fact, out of all the restaurants in this genre, Rowdy Cowboy has the friendliest staff. Yes, I will be back. 1 Star.

Just a little girls' night out…read more I ordered the chicken quesadilla, a soda, and a couple of shots. The waitress was friendly and provided decent service. The DJ kept a great mix of music playing, which had us staying longer than planned just to relax, talk, and enjoy the atmosphere. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes, and the drink specials made me excited about finding what I thought was a new gem. At the end of the night, I left thinking I had found the perfect spot to meet up with friends, unwind, and enjoy good vibes. Unfortunately, that feeling changed the next morning when I noticed my card had been charged a different amount than what I agreed to pay. Yes, I left a tip, but it appeared the total had been altered after the fact. I returned the next day to address the issue and was told that only the manager could assist me, and that I would need to come back after 6 p.m. No one acknowledged the problem, apologized for the inconvenience, or attempted to resolve the situation. I left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. The amount may have been small, but trust is everything when it comes to spending my money. At this point, I would spend more in gas driving back and forth than the amount that was overcharged. I had genuinely hoped this would become one of my regular spots, but after this experience, I won't be returning. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere was enjoyable, but I simply can't support a business when I don't feel confident my bill will be handled accurately or in a trustworthy manner. Shame ‍

For sides, I chose the mac and cheese, cornbread, tallow fries, and Brussels sprouts. This is the kind of meal you remember for a while. The Wagyu tomahawk ribeye was the star of the table. Tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich beefy taste you'd expect from a steak of that caliber. The garlic stuffed filet was incredibly tender and added another layer of flavor, while the New York strip had a great texture and a perfect mesquite grilled finish. The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The restaurant itself has a true Texas atmosphere with a rustic upscale feel. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. This wasn't just dinner. It felt like a Texas steakhouse experience from start to finish. Definitely one of the most memorable meals I've had in the Dallas area.

Clearly a popular spot. We shared an appetizer, a steak, sides, and a dessert between us 3. - Fried Tomatoes (appetizer): not bad! Light, not greasy at all, and that savory sauce on top was yummy: - Wagyu Tomahawk: the star of the show. Loved the peppered crust which was full of flavor. Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal. Overall: no critiques, just an all-around great dinner. Definitely recommend the tomahawk and pie.

It just feels very manufactured. The menu is varied. If you've read my reviews before, you know that I'm a Texa-fornian, so there are a lot of places in Texas that don't suit my palate (or my waist line.) I was easily able to find a couple of things that I would have enjoyed. Based solely on the calorie count, I picked the salmon with cauliflower rice. It was a little oily, but it was good. I cleaned the plate. It's dark inside, like a steakhouse. Not for me, but if that's your thing, you would be happy. It's clean the food's fresh and if you're a drinker, there is a lot of beer. I'm not a drinker. Maybe you're asking why did you even go? Someone gave me a gift card and someone gave my daughter a gift card, so we had to use them.

They're known for massively tall "yard" servings of beer, though I didn't see anyone trying one on my lunchtime visit. They do have a good 4 pages of beers on the menu! The place has high ceilings with exposed pipes lending an industrial vibe. The menu helpfully marks vegetarian options as well as lower calorie choices. I was impressed to see power outlets along the purse hooks below the bar - if you wanted to bring a laptop and catch up on work emails, it'd be possible. Our waitress was business-like and a little unfriendly, and service was terribly slow. The food was good. Free refills on our drinks flowed freely. I tried a veggie burger which was a bit spicy and oaty. I wish I'd tried a salad! Still, I appreciated that they worked with me on reserving tables for a large group all with separate checks.
