I happened to find this Indian restaurant while staying at the DoubleTree hotel in Irving. It's actually located inside the Days Inn, which is beside the DoubleTree. What a find. I ordered the Goat Biryani and I was surprised how tender the goat meat was! And the portion was generous, I took half of it to my hotel room and ate it for dinner the next day. Samosas were also very delicious! They do take out, which I think drives a lot of their business. Ahaa Kitchen is definitely a hidden gem in the rough.

I got in late from a cancelled flight, unsure where to eat. I was suspicious of Ahaa Kitchen being connected to the Days Inn, but wow was I ever wrong about doubting them. I got the samosas, Tandoori Chicken, and a side of flavored rice. The samosas were a delicious starter, loved the chutneys! The Tandoori Chicken came as two leg quarters, perfectly cooked and incredibly flavored. And yes, you need to get the rice. No, you don't have rice like this at home. No, you can't make rice like this at home (otherwise, you'd never go out). Yes. Get the side of rice. I've traveled all over. This is easily one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the country now. Glad to have found this gem!

Definitely recommend trying biryani here. Ordered vijayawada chicken biryani & It was amazingly delicious!!! Never liked mirchi ka salan in any restaurants before but here it was very flavorful. Pricing seemed little expensive in the menu when compared with other Indian restaurants with their location but definitely worth the price if they maintain the quality & quantity. Very friendly staff. Today being the opening day and they never expected such overwhelming response to their ad. Literally had to wait one & half hour to get my food as they ran out of everything. But phenomenal taste!!!

    All our yummy food!

Ordered dinner for pick up from here last night. We ordered the vijayawada biryani, Khaleel biryani and chicken chettinad. The food is excellent and spicy. Just wish the chicken chettinad had more chicken. There was more gravy sauce than chicken. That's my only complaint. Jyoti at the front desk is really sweet. We will definitely be back.

It takes a while for food to come after you order. However, the egg biryani I got was just awesome! One of the best biryanis I have had!!

It's a pretty non-descript space inside the Days Inn, but the food is fantastic. South Indian. Careful with your spice level request.

I was greeted upon entering the establishment and was assisted by two of the workers. I explained that I was new to the area and not familiar with the menu. The one seemed uncertain about helping me and the other lady assisted me in choosing some items. I got the Butter Chicken, $12.99 medium, the garlic naan, $3.99, and a Pepper chicken fry, medium. The wait time was around 15 mins. The restaurant looked like it is well maintained and the bathroom looked maintained which is nice as they do reflect on any and every establishment. The dining area looked as if they set up for a buffet/family style meals, and there are about 3 tables for outdoor dining. Overall this was a pleasant experience and I'd say that the food was very pleasant in taste and appearance. As my order was ToGo, my expectations would be that the bag would have had plastic ware and napkins. This oversight was a major disappointment and a huge lacking to detail for a new patron and paying customer. I had to use the lids of the rice container as a makeshift spoon. Not very ideal and or it made for a poor dining experience. I'd not return to eat from Nizam's Kitchen 3601 Regent Boulevard Suite 140, Irving, TX, 75036

I haven't had vada pav sliders before but the filling is kind of like fried samosa filling without the dough. It's good. The serving size of the biryani was very impressive. You can see from the photo that they fill the container and then add another mound of rice on top of that - basically 2 servings (we took one home). And they didn't skimp on the chicken either! The chicken is cooked perfectly, the sauces are a great complement and this is an excellent dish. The Lunch Thali gives you a lot of bang for your buck and mine included ~5 pieces of fish fry, about the same amount of veg pakora, yogurt dip, chicken curry with rice, 2 different soups, a naan/tortilla thing, and a carrot dessert (like a halwa). All had good flavor and the soups have a nice spicy kick to them. However, since all the dishes for the thali come off the lunch line (ie all premade), the tortilla, fish and pakoras had been sitting out for awhile and not too hot. Had they come out fresh from the fryer, I might have given this experience 5 stars. As it stands, I'll probably be back for lunch anyways - and the thali is available 7 days a week!

The flavor is off, as they seem to use coconut milk or something sweet which makes the gravy be as thin as water with a sweet flavor profile, which is just not for me. I would rate the Chicken Tikka Masala I had as a 2.5/10, which would be vastly improved by a thicker gravy.

Your dirty dishes are quickly taken away by efficient staff, so grab a fresh plate when you return (and you WILL return) to the buffet. This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. I know its a bit pricey for something that's fast and not at a full service restaurant, but i think it was worth it. The burst of flavor was intense on the momos... I really enjoyed the sweet and umami taste of the butter chicken sauce. one hack is to take a small bite of the momo and then fill the inside with sauce and then eat the whole momo.
