The food is really good and you can tell they make it fresh from the taste and prep time. There is a lot more f unique items on the menu that you can't get anywhere else. The Vagharelo Rotlo was my fav. Definitely will be eating here every time I visit the area.

    Undio

Purchased 16 oz undio for $16.99 with 1 piece of muthia. Super oily and tasteless. It seems in 16oz box , 8oz was only oil. Very poor quality food. This was our second attempt to this place and came with again big disappointment.

I go to Shree Vimal's all the time and I am totally in LOVE with this restaurant. Even though I'm not vegetarian, I still really enjoy their delicious Indian food. It's always fresh and very flavorful. And my favorite part... their marvelous deserts!! So many options!! The staff is very helpful and always positive, providing excellent customer service every time. The owner Vimal and his wife are such a great people. I will keep coming back to Shree Vimal's and I totally recommend it to everyone!

I got some sweets , chevdo and some Other food from here today- also Got some for our friends as well - the Kenya chevdo (mix) that they gave me was a stale one!!! Super disappointed

Flat piece of thick dough. Supposed to be a kachori? Wtf?!

Bad service and bad food. Lady at the counter has an attitude. Kachori is so bad here (see picture). It's a flat thick piece of uncooked dough. A kachori is supposed to be puffy and airy and crispy and light. This was the opposite. A thick hockey puck! Couldn't even put sauce in it because it's flat! Wtf?! The lady served me cold tea and then had an attitude because I let her know about it. Bad service and food. The cooks don't know how to even make a kachori! Avoid!

Food taste was very bad. I give that it was festival time, so the staff might be in a rush. But I was expecting better taste.

Nice Gujarati food in the heart of Irving. Good selection of sweets and food items. Bit on the expensive side but is worth the visit

Southern Spice is a solid 4 star Indian restaurant in Las Colinas, which is full of similar…read moreoptions, due primarily to great value. I haven't had vada pav sliders before but the filling is kind of like fried samosa filling without the dough. It's good. The serving size of the biryani was very impressive. You can see from the photo that they fill the container and then add another mound of rice on top of that - basically 2 servings (we took one home). And they didn't skimp on the chicken either! The chicken is cooked perfectly, the sauces are a great complement and this is an excellent dish. The Lunch Thali gives you a lot of bang for your buck and mine included ~5 pieces of fish fry, about the same amount of veg pakora, yogurt dip, chicken curry with rice, 2 different soups, a naan/tortilla thing, and a carrot dessert (like a halwa). All had good flavor and the soups have a nice spicy kick to them. However, since all the dishes for the thali come off the lunch line (ie all premade), the tortilla, fish and pakoras had been sitting out for awhile and not too hot. Had they come out fresh from the fryer, I might have given this experience 5 stars. As it stands, I'll probably be back for lunch anyways - and the thali is available 7 days a week!

But not if you're not going to train the employees the difference between a dosa and a samosa. Pretty much my worst dosa experience in 8 years in DFW.

We decided to visit Sanjh for a friend's birthday. It was quite busy on a Saturday evening. Our…read morereservation was at 7 pm. The atmosphere was upscale and the prices reflected it. Our server was attentive and explained the menu was more "Modern Indian" food versus "Traditional Indian" food. We followed our server's lead and ordered the Bharwan Paneer Tikka along with traditional Somosas for appetizers. The Samosas were tasty but were a bit on the tiny side. The Bharwan Paneer Tikka was the standout dish of the evening. For our main dishes, we ordered the Dal Tadka, Bhindi Do Pyaza, and New Delhi Butter Chicken. We ordered some additional Garlic Naan and White Rice to accompany the main dishes. All the dishes were pretty standard without being too spicy. You might be a little disappointed if you like your Indian Food on the spicier level. We finished off with Rasmali and Kulfi Falooda. The Rasmali was the highlight of dessert. The flavors of pistachio and the accompanying sauce was a great combination. Overall, Sanjh is a fancy Indian Restaurant. I would return for a special event given the upscale atmosphere. You also have to open to interpretations of traditional Indian Cuisine.
