Gazar Halwa -- with anniversary chocolate item

Celebrated our anniversary at Sanjh When the question came where to celebrate with fine dining vegetarian options, from friends recommendations and reviews in Yelp and Google narrowed down to Sanjh and Jashan. Reviews pointed Sushmita's service at Sanjh and decided to celebrate at Sanjh. In the open table reservations, spelled out few requirements and expected a response, thought they are too busy hence didn't respond. But the moment we walked in they greeted, remembered every aspect of our asks. Mr Akash, general manager of the restaurant came and greeted, inquired about food. Ambiance is very good too. Food quality is excellent. We will be returning to celebrate more occasions here. In my opinion, Customer interacting Staff like Sushmita and Aakash coupled with mgmt decision not to compromise on quality of food will be key to succeed any restaurant business. To be fair, will try Jishan too, hope they pay attention to their reviews and address them.

Sanjh's interior is very stylish and chic. The restaurant is also in a charming area next to the water with tables inside and outside. Following the restaurant's aesthetics, the food is beautifully presented. We're talking about using smoke, pouring sauce at the table, and preparation at the table. The plating is also stunning. I like the Dahi Puri, the Bharwan Paneer Tikka, and the Garlic Naan is probably the best naan I've had in a while. Unfortunately the rest of the food did not taste as good as it looked. The butter chicken was $35! I was expecting something way better than what I received... I was so disappointed. My friend ordered the Paneer Makhan and she was disappointed as well. For the price you pay, we were both expecting the top of the top in Indian flavors. This was not it.

High Tea at Sanjh in Irving. Had a great time trying out Sanjh's Diwali High Tea menu. We were able to choose our own tea and then our own savory bites, sweets, and sandwiches. An exiting twist compared to other high teas with set menus, or menus for the table specifically. Between all four of us, we were able to try everything . They have a nice variety of loose leaf teas that are steeped at the table and a good variety of bites to try as well. Everything tasted good but the vibes were definitely giving fancy high Tea. Service was attentive and explained the food and how to order. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I'd recommend to others who want to experience a indian high tea.

Sushmita you made us have the best meal in Dallas. I don't remember If I had such flavorful indian food. The food was nicely platted! With well chosen recipes. The suggestions from Sushmita was spot on. I usually don't like the ones recommended, but today all the dishes were made to perfection. They had a special menu for Mocktails which was helpful with couple of my friends who don't drink. The fine dine experience was spot on! From the silverware to the plates, to the glasses and the decor.

The Sanjh is a fine-dining Indian restaurant situated alongside the Mandalay Canal. The ambiance of the place was great, and the place was very modern. The see-through kitchen added to the dining experience as you can watch your food being made. There's a mini park nearby where you can also take a post-meal stroll. I started off with the anarkali mocktail, and this drink was amazing! We ordered the dahi puri as an appetizer, and it tasted good. Blueberries are one of my favorite fruits, and I was pleased to see it used as a garnish on the dahi puri. It was plated well, and I loved the crunch of the puri as I ate this dish. I thought the dahi puri had a great mix of flavors in terms of sweet and spice. Paneer is my favorite Indian dish, and the way the plate was presented with smoke added to the dining experience. While I thought the crispiness added from the tandoor was great, the paneer wasn't as soft as it should be on the inside. It's difficult to conquer this cooking technique of crunchy outside, softer interior in dishes such as fried mac & cheese balls, fried cheese with honey, and more. For the main, we ordered the gulnar kofta. This dish was plated with edible silver that resembled a foil-like texture. The idea of figs mixed with paneer to create the kofta was interesting. However, this dish was more on the sweeter side than I would have liked. I wish there was some spice to balance out the sweetness of the fig. Garlic naan to accompany this dish was great! The rasmalai presentation was unlike any rasmalai presentation I have ever seen. I loved the visual presentation that included the waitress flambéing the dessert. I thought the dessert was perfect with the white chocolate mousse, however the cookie that it came with felt slightly stale. Only thing I would change is having a crunchier and fresh cookie kind of like a pirouline. Our waitress, Sushmita, went above and beyond in terms of her service. It was obvious she was very knowledgeable about the menu, and she spent the time to know the processes behind how the dishes were made. She served all the dishes and constantly checked in on us. Sanjh is lucky to have her!

Loved all the dishes and cocktails, quantities are decently sized. Vegan friendly. Great service. Above all, I really like the dining experience and ambiance. I personally felt my appetizer was better than the entree. Also, hope they can add couple more vegan options.

Sanjh is an upscale Indian restaurant in Irving-Las Colinas's Water Street. Sanjh feels like stepping into a world-class Michelin-starred restaurant. I didn't know restaurants like this existed in Las Colinas but I'm glad it does. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The moment I stepped into Sanjh, my eyes were immediately drawn to the stunning bar that anchors the space like a jewel. It's sleek, modern, and beautifully lit - an elegant fusion of contemporary design and warm hospitality. There is plenty of comfortable seating in both booth style and tables. 1 Star. Service - The entire staff is dressed in sharp suits and ties, exuding professionalism and grace. From the moment we were greeted to the final goodbye, the staff made us feel like honored guests. They were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about the dining experience. Use OpenTable to make a reservation. 1 Star. Food - While I'm no culinary expert on Indian cuisine, I can confidently say that everything I tasted was delicious. I started with a familiar dish - the samosa. It was golden and crisp on the outside, with a perfectly spiced filling that was both comforting and exciting. For my main, I went with the servers recommendation, the Punjabi Chicken Curry. It was rich and aromatic, with tender chicken simmered in a velvety tomato-based gravy infused with warming spices. I ordered garlic naan on the side and dipped it in the curry so I could savor every bite. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. As someone who lives nearby, I feel incredibly lucky to have Sanjh so close. I'll absolutely be returning. But even if you're not local, this restaurant is worth the drive. It's a destination, and one that delivers an unforgettable dining experience every single time. 1 Star.

Sanjh is an upscale Indian restaurant located in Irving Texas. They have a modern twist with classic Indian dishes including biriyani and butter chicken. We ordered several dishes from the menu and did them family style. Food was jam packed with so much flavor. There was nothing I ate, that I didn't enjoy. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because service was slightly slow. It was hard to get their attention for ordering and refills.

The vibe and the location is awesome! I felt the food to be average! The goat sheekh kebab was dry, but the rogani chicken was amazing. The mango prawn curry was really good though. About the drinks, I had to send back a mango based drink with chilli tincture as it was just bland with lot of spice. And believe me, I eat spicy food! The madras mail and Kashmiri kahwa coffee drinks were good I think we got a decent service considering it was Fourth of July weekend! Just did not like the suggestions the server had for us, should have just stuck to our decisions, but that's on me haha! Overall, this is a not so needed super expensive restaurant with an average food!

Sanjh - A Memorable Fine-Dining Experience Sanjh offers an amazing ambience paired with impeccable service and truly delicious food. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, friendly, and extremely accommodating. Our server, Rohit, was courteous and knowledgeable--his recommendations were spot on and elevated our dining experience. We ordered the Bharwan Paneer Tikka, it was stuffed from inside and bursting with flavor; the paneer was fresh, soft, and absolutely melt-in-the-mouth. The Dal Makhani was rich, creamy, and incredibly satisfying--comfort food done right. Every dish tasted authentic and freshly prepared. With its elegant atmosphere and exceptional hospitality, Sanjh is the perfect place for a date night or celebrating special milestones. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined and memorable dining experience.

Sanjay is hands down the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Every dish was cooked to absolute perfection, with incredible attention to both presentation and flavor. The depth of spices and creativity behind each plate was truly out of this world--words can't fully describe it. If you're in Dallas and want to impress, especially if you love authentic Indian cuisine and bold flavors, this is the place to go. A high-end experience worth every bite and perfect for sharing with large group

Upon entering the restaurant, your eyes are instantly drawn to the beauty and elegance of the restaurant. Our server Gayagri was absolutely amazing. She carried herself with elegance and grace, while taking very good care of our needs. As for the food, everything was absolutely delicious. Biryanis- (chicken Raita) wonderfully flavored rice with delicious seasoned chicken pieces Sanjh signature meat curry-(Goat) tomato based dish with tender pieces of goat meat. Cornish hen butter chicken- never had a dish prepared like this before. But the sauce and the boned chicken was very delicious Masaaledaar Champan- (lamb chops) the spice rub and the char from the grill made this entree finger licking good Bharwan paneer tikka- seasoned cheese cubes topped with nuts, and cream. Tastes similar to ricotta cheese but firmer. The taste was wonderful Garlic naan- warm and tasty Cocktail- Kashmiri kahwa coffee- the best Scotch featured coffee cocktail I have ever had

Came here as a party of five plus a toddler for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The place was quite packed and it had low upbeat music playing. The staff was very attentive (and helped when the toddler made a little mess). We ordered a large variety of food but I tried the spinach kebab (spicy and absolutely delicious. I would order these alone in bulk), the chicken kebab (also spicy and good but second to the spinach), the veg soup (tasty), and the masala dosa (very nice flavor). My companions all loved their meals as well. I did however have one issue which was how they box takeaway. We were a group of five in three different households and they boxed all of our food into shared containers so people who ordered certain dishes could not take their dish home without a bit of rigermarole.

Ask the Community - Sanjh Restaurant

Is there a good reason this place is twice as expensive as any other Indian joint?

Yes. It is gourmet, upper class joint with fine dining level service ans experience. The food was good but some of the combinations in the dish are odd but, again, gourmet Indian. You are paying extrq for the experience.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Monaco is one of the prettiest restaurants in all of DFW. Dark wood and dark blue seating invite you in. The bar is stunning, with back lighting highlighting their drinks. There's also an outdoor seating area, including a wind shield - perfect when the weather is nice. This is a great spot for a weekend date night if you want something outside of Dallas. 1 Star. Service - Everyone was very nice. We were never rushed, all dishes could be customized to order, and I never had to ask for a refill. Nothing but good people here. 1 Star. Food - Let me start by saying presentation matters, and the dishes at Monaco are great for your Instagram or Yelp feed. I started with the roasted oysters. I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". That, combined with the roasted breadcrumbs, added a nice crunchy and smooth texture to the delicious oysters. For my main, I went with the Salmon St. Harve. This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. This is an awesome area in the heart of DFW, and I'm so happy there is an upscale restaurant like Monaco that has amazing food. 1 Star.

They have a pretty good selection of beers and of liquors (I presume wine, too, but I didn't check). While there are "bourbon bars" with a wider bourbon selection or "gin bars" with a wider gin selection, they have an above average selection of each, and they don't charge absurd up charges for choosing the liquor you like. The bartender is very polite. There's ample seating at the bar, and you can also take your drink to some loungy-er chairs in the nearby part of the hotel lobby. All in all, a solid bar.

You walk in and the bar is to your right. It was about 6 and no one was at the bar. There was a group of guys discussing something over drinks in the lounge area but that was about it. The bartender came right up to my boyfriend and I. I told the bartender my boyfriend had never been to Texas so we tried out essentially every tap by sampling which was nice that he offered that up. After we tried each beer we decided on some options. The bartender went back to texting in the corner and we sat at the bar listening to the music playing in the open concept lobby/bar area We eventually took over the seating area that group was in because the couches looked more cozy than the bar. The happy hour advertised is not a thing anymore, they now have reverse happy hour from 9-10. The beers weren't too expensive as our tab was only $13 which I doable. The bartender disappeared from the bar for a fair amount of time which made me anxious because I used to be a bartender, I guess he trusted we wouldn't leave without paying. He didnt come check on us to see if we needed another beer but that was ok I guess. I went back up to the bar to cash out and that was that. This bar is good for a quick drink but I wouldn't probably go for a top notch bar experience.
