This is not your typical suburban Indian restaurant. The ambiance is warm, modern, and incredibly Instagram-worthy, making it a great spot for beautiful photos. I visited for Sunday brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday and was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine Southern hospitality from the moment we arrived. The menu is refreshingly different from what you'd expect at a traditional Indian restaurant. Rather than serving the usual dishes, it offers a creative fusion of Indian-inspired flavors with modern cuisine. I ordered the lobster pasta, which was absolutely delicious. The spare ribs with fried rice also caught my attention--it may sound like an unexpected combination, but the presentation was beautiful, and the flavors worked perfectly together. The cocktails were equally impressive, flavorful, and well-crafted. Between the exceptional food, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding service, this is a restaurant I'll definitely be returning to. one of the worst experiences in a very long time. let's start with rsvp was at 8pm, I was at the door by 8:03pm; made it to the table until 8:20. When they actually sat us down we were given 1 Menu for a table of 2 because they were out of them ? Then they sat a table of 6 next to us 2 minutes later, and everyone got a menu? oh ok. I was like maybe they will give us another menu shortly ; wrong ! it took them another 10 minutes to see our server who was all rushed, so i just avoid asking questions about the menu. we ordered 1 cocktail and 3 apps. time time hit 8:45 pm before we received that cocktail. No apps yet i asked if were receiving any food before 9, he went to check and bring us the calamari (app #1) cold like it was just ready and chilling at the kitchen and they forgot to pick up. i tried 2 pieces , my date 2 more , I was not going to continue eating it, i told the server he says sorry and that he was going to "warm up" 9pm hits we get it back and guess what instead of getting me a fresh hot calamari they literally "warmed up" the same one sent back ! seriously a almost $20 app was what microwaved at back? no luck on seeing the other 2 apps. I couldn't stay any longer , hungry and we had another rsvp to get to. the photo that i'm posting is for the calamari that was warmed up you tell me if you would pay around $20 for that ? I asked to removed it and cancel the other items ordered and that we would pay for the cocktail ordered even if only 2 sips taken. Same your money, and time. Don't rely on having a pleasant experience at this restaurant for any occasions. Do not recommend! Also the menu very limited options if you don't eat beef/pork. Ambiance well it's pretty inside but that's it go have a beer (bottled for consistency ) take a pictures and go next door to mexican sugar for some guacamole. Did we get any supervisor or manager to check on us? you guessed right , No ! Didn't even tried to make our date better, they were more concerned on us clearing the table. read more

We started with the chicken tacos which were seasoned well and had a flavorful salsa, but the grocery store bought, low quality tortillas were disappointing. The fundido lacked a lot of flavor, but was a nice presentation. The "egg" wrapped burger was really wrapped in a crepe which was unexpected. The bun was very hard to cut through and the burger was too well done. We couldn't finish the burger. The fries were very undercooked and inedible. The lamb was very hard to cut through and tough to chew. The rice had good flavor, but was very dry. The asparagus was the best part of the food as it was cooked and seasoned well. The banana lumpia had a good flavor to it, but we weren't quite sure what was in the middle of them since some of the filling was purple, bright yellow and pale yellow. This place is believe had grand opening last week and I really do wish they do well. It is super nice inside, very fancy and chic. I expected the place to be a bit more busy but it was not at the time we went (7pm). The waitress was very nice. We had a couple of entrees, two alcoholic beverages and an appetizer (total about $100). All were good, but unfortunately nothing that said...wow, I cannot wait to come back. Brand new restaurant in the Irving area with tons of potential. The restaurant has only been open for about a week and a half, it's clear that they did a great job training their staff. Everyone was polite and attentive. Regarding the setting, Inso thought about all of the details creating a very luxe experience; the interior is very beautiful with a rich mid-century vibe, replete with gold accents everywhere. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday, and she was very excited about the concept of the fusion of some if her favorite flavors. The Good: as you can see from the attached photos, there were few different options. Available to meet a variety of dietary needs and desires. The highlight of the meal was the spinach and artichoke dip. The portion was very generous, able to be shared amongst a much larger party than three! Service was extremely attentive. Not only our server, but everyone else that was supportive staff all chipped in to make sure that our tables were accounted for Opportunities: Seems like the menu was trying to do a lot of things really well and as a result, they were a jack of many trades but master of none. The portions were decent, but none of the flavors impressed. The lamb that my wife ordered was a little overcooked, and the flavor was so-so. On the other hand, I enjoyed my meal. Another opportunity was for kids meals. Because there were not any children's options. I opted to share my dish with my son and order a little bit more à la cart to ensure that I wasn't too hungry. Tried out this location for the very first time for my friend's birthday. The environment inside of the restaurant looked super beautiful and very instagram picture worthy. We tried couple of the appetizers the Broiled Spinach, Burrata cheese, and artichoke as well as Tandoor cheese Tikka fundido as well as tamarind margarita as well as the Persian rose. The appetizers were good however the margarita tasted a bit sour. For the main meal I chose the cashew and sesame salmon. In my opinion the food was just okay but the Persian rose drink was pretty good. Service unfortunately was not the best it took a while for our waiter to bring our drinks and food. For this reason I am not sure if I will be back the second time to this location. read more

Wow this place is incredible. The decor is beautiful. The staff are super knowledgeable and very attentive. The food is out of this world. The ambiance was stunning! I appreciated the color scheme and the elegant gold chandeliers. However, despite the restaurant's beautiful decor, the food was rather bland and disappointing in relation to the price. For a party of nine, we spent $565 on fatty steaks, unseasoned rice, reheated calamari, and experienced less-than-friendly service. While I might consider returning for drinks, I would not choose to dine here again. read more

I'll start by saying the cocktails were really good and the ambiance is great. Unfortunately, those are the high points. The food and service mere mediocre. Our server had zero personality and offered nothing to the experience. Now the food. To put it plainly, we would never order those dishes again. The tuna tartar has zero flavor. The avocado wasn't even ripe and the mango was dull. The broccoli bread thing was dry and inedible. The rack of lamb portion belonged on a child's menu and the asparagus had zero seasoning and over cooked. Top that all off with the lava cake that had no lava! It was a dry cake served with a chunk of super frozen ice cream that was bigger than the cake. Nothing Bunt Cakes are superior to whatever that was. I'm sure the club/ lounge vibe is fun, but don't go for the food. Or maybe we just ordered wrong. read more

Food was good. I went late after fireworks Friday so I could only order from the late night menu. Had to ask for service, but once I brought it to her attention the server was amazing and the other servers were really sweet too and checked on me. The music was really good. The staff were rude from the moment I entered the restaurant. They told me they had only a 10 min grace period, that was a lie. Then when I asked questions about it, the hostess just stared at me. My reservation was at 7:30pm, online it says 15min grace period; I arrived & spoke with the host at 7:44pm. After I was seated at 7:48pm, no waters till 8pm, then no waitress till 8:20pm. It's a Saturday night I'm a party of three & the restaurant wasn't packed. Waitress was not properly trained, manager was rude & tried to be condescending. I get it the restaurant is still "new" but still customer service has to be improved. I've never been to a restaurant that had a sommelier, after requested never showed up at the table. I watched him look, point, discuss with our waitress, the manager, & other guests. At this point the restaurant still isn't packed in the section we're sitting in. Now what I can say is the food was great! Appetizers we ordered were the spinach dip & the potstickers. We all loved our food as well, we had lamb chops, Chicago filet, & pork chops. The ambiance was nice, you can tell they took their time with the decor. I can say it was esthetically pleasing. Live band was great as well, they made up for the poor service! All that I ask if you know you had poor customer service, and you messed up all night. Management simply apologize, that would've made me give you another chance. It was the first day of their grand reopening, so there were a few hiccups with some of the food and my drink--but our server was amazing and made sure everything was taken care of. The apps were very tasty, I don't think you can go wrong with any but we got the shrimp, Brussels sprouts and calamari. All very good. The main courses were very okay and the dessert was very underwhelming. Service was very good at first but once they got a little busier the waitress didn't come back for like 15 min at a time. She was very nice though. Noting there was a 20% service fee and then the receipt still asked for an additional 20%+ tip once you paid, which left a bad taste in our mouths. The place is super upscale, reasonably priced and vibey, but the service fee + another tip was a little too much for me. I would have probably came back again if it wasn't for that fee. read more

Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I have a shellfish allergy, and as I always do when dining out, I informed the waiter before ordering. When my food arrived, there was shrimp on my plate. When I raised concerns, the waiter was dismissive, took the plate back, and shortly after returned what was clearly the same steak, simply re-cooked, as it came back well done despite me ordering it medium. I took one bite and could immediately tell the food had been cross-contaminated. I sent the order back again, but the general manager was just as dismissive and unconcerned about the seriousness of a food allergy. To make matters worse, my friend found a ladybug in her salad, and the manager's response was, "Well, they have to live somewhere." Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Food allergies should be taken seriously, and the lack of care, accountability, and professionalism from both the staff and management was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially those with food allergies. read more

I stopped in to try this new spot and planned to just have a cocktail at the bar. The space itself is interesting--there's a lot of new décor and most of it is high quality, even if the styles don't fully come together. It definitely has potential and makes a good first impression visually. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience didn't match that level. The bartender was friendly, but repeatedly called me "baby," which felt a bit uncomfortable and out of place given the setting. I had also asked specifically for a martini in a V-shaped glass, and while she said yes, it was served in a different glass and only about half full. On top of that, their glasses are cheap and tacky. Small details like that matter, especially at a place positioning itself as more upscale. Later, I ordered a salad and a different drink, which was better, but the salad never arrived, even after a long wait. I understand kitchens can get busy, but the restaurant was only 20% full, so the delay was surprising--especially for a simple salad. When the bill came, it was nearly $50 for two drinks. I was told one was a "double," which I never requested. To his credit, the manager did adjust the bill. He was professional and clearly knowledgeable but definitely has some challenges ahead. That said, I left feeling like there were multiple missed opportunities to turn my experience around. I really wanted to like this place, and I can see the potential. With some attention to service details, improving the quality of their beverage glasses and communication, it could be much better. For now, though, I'm not sure I'd return until they've ironed out their newly opened kinks. read more

Julian was our waiter and he was wonderful. You should try this place out it's different, but really good. The spinach artichoke dip is very unique and fantastic. Then the tomahawk. OMG, the tomahawk. Our waiter suggested that we get the tomahawk platter with grilled shrimp. FANTASTIC!!!! And this place is NOT a steakhouse, but man, they are killin' it here. Our waiter, Anthony took us on a trip away from the menu and had the Chef prepare something just for us. His service and attention to detail was off the charts. Incredible experience. And finally, when we finished eating and drinking this incredible, Kinsella Cabernet, we looked around and realized this place doesn't look like any other venue in Dallas. The lighting, the seating, the different levels going from the dining room to the lounge, and the club space. Ain't no place else like this in Dallas. You need to check this out. read more

Had a fabulous dinner experience at Indus Social on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Having only been open for 3 weeks, this place is already creating a well-deserved buzz in town. The inspired menu is a fusion of Texan and pan-Asian flavors. This establishment is exactly what Irving needs. It's got a gorgeous dining room which sets the stage for a special meal, an impressive bar area that invites you to stay for a while, a back swanky lounge that comes alive later in the night, and attentive top-notch service (thank you, Olivia, for the way you took care of us!!). For this South Asian girl who was born and raised in Texas, the food is a comforting blend of East and West that locals are going to LOVE. I forgot to take pictures of the tea soaked pork ribs we ordered, but don't miss out on those! The fried rice that they come with is craveable. We shared each dish that was ordered... a perfect way to try more of the menu. We can't wait to go back!! read more

Take this with a grain of salt since this restaurant is very new... The decor and ambiance of the restaurant itself was great. We had reservations for a birthday and there wasn't an open table available since the table we were supposed to receive was still occupied so we had to wait a bit. Once we got seated our space was very crammed and eventually the manager noticed and joined another table to space us out which made it a lot more comfortable. Once we ordered drinks we waited about 15-20 minutes to receive them since the bar was apparently backed up, still we understood, however this is where I had an issue, I ordered a lychee margarita and they completely forgot to add any lychee syrup, it was just lime and tequila, VERY SOUR. I had to tell the waitress to take it back to fix it and once it came back it was good. The food itself I would rate it 3/5 due to a few flavors some of the dishes were lacking considering this was a South Asian inspired with a Texas twist restaurant. read more
