This place is actually really beautiful inside and somewhere I would go again. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because the service was really good until the very end when everything was done. SO...let me say I underestimated InSo. My expectations were pretty low. The reviews were so mixed that I couldn't really tell what my experience would be like. Based on the reviews some people really liked it and others didn't like it at all. I always like to go and judge a place for myself. I'm so glad I did because they exceeded my expectations. My lunch experience was wonderful and my expectations were highly met. The service, food and ambiance were ALL outstanding. Ambiance: 5 STARS It's such a beautiful, modern and chic space. The atmosphere is classy, sassy and elegant. The rich colors exude sophistication. The lighting and chandeliers are gorgeous. The mix of dark colors with zebra print work well together. The bar with the gold feels luxurious. I truly loved how all the decor gave it a sexy touch. Service: 5 STARS Isaiah the manager was checking on all the tables. This is always a classic move that makes me appreciate and applaud management when they are hands on with the guest. Dre my waiter was fairly new, but he did a good job. He was pleasant and polite. He handled all my requests. Niecy another employee was friendly and welcoming. She had great energy and answered questions about the restaurant. All the staff I encountered were helpful. I felt they were a team and all worked together. Food: 4.5 STARS The turkey club sandwich was delicious. It was real thick sliced turkey breast and not the thin lunch meat I usually eat. This made the sandwich more filling and unique. The bacon was crispy and the lettuce and tomato were freshly sliced. The bread was so damn good. It was soft and buttery. The sandwich is HUGE! You can definitely share it. The presentation was great and you can choose chips or fries. I suggest the fries they were piping hot and tasty. The habanero garlic wings were a pleasant surprise. The sauce is very tasty. It's a spicy sauce full of flavor with a good amount of heat. I requested all flats and it was an up charge. Just note they are more like a fire grilled wing. If they were fried I would rate them slightly higher. Drinks: 5 STARS The mimosas were served cold. The champagne they used was excellent. The glass was cute and the amount of juice was just right. They were priced reasonably. So overall it was an excellent experience. I'm so happy I don't judge a book by its cover completely. I like to read a few chapters first. I always like to give any business a chance. I know everything is not for everyone. We all have different opinions and experiences. Yes they are still new-ish and working out some kinks. Overall: 2.7/5 We reserved a table for the Miss Swimsuit USA event at 10 PM but when we arrived no one walked us to a table and all the tables were already taken. The show itself was not well coordinated and they were running behind schedule. If you were sitting or standing at the bar, the room layout made it difficult to see from either end. We ended up moving near the camera man to get a better view. Rose of the Republic ($19): The color was really pretty but the taste was just so-so. It tasted more like rose syrup with minimal alcohol. We started with the chicken tacos which were seasoned well and had a flavorful salsa, but the grocery store bought, low quality tortillas were disappointing. The fundido lacked a lot of flavor, but was a nice presentation. The "egg" wrapped burger was really wrapped in a crepe which was unexpected. The bun was very hard to cut through and the burger was too well done. We couldn't finish the burger. The fries were very undercooked and inedible. The lamb was very hard to cut through and tough to chew. The rice had good flavor, but was very dry. The asparagus was the best part of the food as it was cooked and seasoned well. The banana lumpia had a good flavor to it, but we weren't quite sure what was in the middle of them since some of the filling was purple, bright yellow and pale yellow. This place is believe had grand opening last week and I really do wish they do well. It is super nice inside, very fancy and chic. I expected the place to be a bit more busy but it was not at the time we went (7pm). The waitress was very nice. We had a couple of entrees, two alcoholic beverages and an appetizer (total about $100). All were good, but unfortunately nothing that said...wow, I cannot wait to come back. Brand new restaurant in the Irving area with tons of potential. The restaurant has only been open for about a week and a half, it's clear that they did a great job training their staff. Everyone was polite and attentive. Regarding the setting, Inso thought about all of the details creating a very luxe experience; the interior is very beautiful with a rich mid-century vibe, replete with gold accents everywhere. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday, and she was very excited about the concept of the fusion of some if her favorite flavors. The Good: as you can see from the attached photos, there were few different options. Available to meet a variety of dietary needs and desires. The highlight of the meal was the spinach and artichoke dip. The portion was very generous, able to be shared amongst a much larger party than three! Service was extremely attentive. Not only our server, but everyone else that was supportive staff all chipped in to make sure that our tables were accounted for Opportunities: Seems like the menu was trying to do a lot of things really well and as a result, they were a jack of many trades but master of none. The portions were decent, but none of the flavors impressed. The lamb that my wife ordered was a little overcooked, and the flavor was so-so. On the other hand, I enjoyed my meal. Another opportunity was for kids meals. Because there were not any children's options. I opted to share my dish with my son and order a little bit more à la cart to ensure that I wasn't too hungry. Tried out this location for the very first time for my friend's birthday. The environment inside of the restaurant looked super beautiful and very instagram picture worthy. We tried couple of the appetizers the Broiled Spinach, Burrata cheese, and artichoke as well as Tandoor cheese Tikka fundido as well as tamarind margarita as well as the Persian rose. The appetizers were good however the margarita tasted a bit sour. For the main meal I chose the cashew and sesame salmon. In my opinion the food was just okay but the Persian rose drink was pretty good. Service unfortunately was not the best it took a while for our waiter to bring our drinks and food. I really hate having to write this review because what should have been an amazing celebration was overshadowed by an experience that left me extremely disappointed and uncomfortable. I'm giving two stars, and the second star is solely because the managers, servers and other staff were amazing. They were kind, accommodating and professional throughout our event. Unfortunately, my experience with the event planner, Trisha, was completely different. I hosted a surprise 40th birthday party here and worked closely with Trisha beforehand. During the planning process, she was professional, organized and extremely helpful. I provided my playlist and video in advance, and we had multiple conversations about exactly what I wanted for the evening. Trisha left during the event to attend her son's football game, and when she returned, it honestly felt like we were dealing with a completely different person. She returned in shorts and a T-shirt, with a noticeably different and disheveled appearance, but the bigger concern was the drastic change in her demeanor and behavior. It was significant enough that I genuinely questioned what could have caused such a dramatic shift from the professional person I had worked with before. When the music stopped before the DJ arrived, I asked if we could continue playing R&B or music similar to the playlist I had already provided. Trisha responded that she would not play "that vulgar music." As an African American woman hosting a predominantly African American group, I found that comment degrading and offensive. If there were restrictions regarding music, that should have been communicated when I provided the playlist--not during my event. From that point forward, Trisha was dismissive toward my guests, sat with her arms folded appearing visibly irritated, and repeatedly instructed the DJ to play country music. Given her comment about our music being "vulgar," followed by those actions, the experience felt discriminatory and made several of my guests uncomfortable. What speaks volumes is that other members of management apologized for her behavior. They were wonderful and did everything they could to make our celebration enjoyable. We spent a significant amount of money celebrating an important milestone here. The venue and the rest of the staff deserved five stars. Unfortunately, Trisha's behavior and the drastic change in her professionalism completely altered our experience. That is why I can only give two stars. read more

one of the worst experiences in a very long time. let's start with rsvp was at 8pm, I was at the door by 8:03pm; made it to the table until 8:20. When they actually sat us down we were given 1 Menu for a table of 2 because they were out of them ? Then they sat a table of 6 next to us 2 minutes later, and everyone got a menu? oh ok. I was like maybe they will give us another menu shortly ; wrong ! it took them another 10 minutes to see our server who was all rushed, so i just avoid asking questions about the menu. we ordered 1 cocktail and 3 apps. time time hit 8:45 pm before we received that cocktail. No apps yet i asked if were receiving any food before 9, he went to check and bring us the calamari (app #1) cold like it was just ready and chilling at the kitchen and they forgot to pick up. i tried 2 pieces , my date 2 more , I was not going to continue eating it, i told the server he says sorry and that he was going to "warm up" 9pm hits we get it back and guess what instead of getting me a fresh hot calamari they literally "warmed up" the same one sent back ! seriously a almost $20 app was what microwaved at back? no luck on seeing the other 2 apps. I couldn't stay any longer , hungry and we had another rsvp to get to. the photo that i'm posting is for the calamari that was warmed up you tell me if you would pay around $20 for that ? I asked to removed it and cancel the other items ordered and that we would pay for the cocktail ordered even if only 2 sips taken. Same your money, and time. Don't rely on having a pleasant experience at this restaurant for any occasions. Do not recommend! Also the menu very limited options if you don't eat beef/pork. Ambiance well it's pretty inside but that's it go have a beer (bottled for consistency ) take a pictures and go next door to mexican sugar for some guacamole. The experience is not one I care to have again. It was not enjoyable at all. There were at least three managers walking around at all times, three servers, two empty bars two bartenders, and a bunch of men and women cleaning tables and refilling water who spoke not one lick of English. Yet it took 15 minutes to get a drink. Two request of drink orders for them to actually get sent. Appetizers never dropped. And an added on 20% service charge for 4 ladies? The food was very good. Apparently the burger and truffle fries were good and the redfish that myself and two other ladies ordered were very good. The desserts were trash. The chocolate cake with ice cream was the uglies display of dessert at a place charging $20 for a plate of ALL frozen and heated items from the cake to the frozen fruit they thought they were adding to the plate. And the Oreo cheesecake was plated well and a completely bust on flavor that left 2/3 of it on table. For there to be an empty dining room (at least 70% of the tables were empty) and an over-staffed restaurant, I am perplexed at how they lacked so profusely on the service. And then had the audacity to charge us a service fee? My bill for two drinks and a dinner plate was $111 and I didn't enjoy my time at all. Do you think me, my friends, or anyone we discuss this establishment will be back? Absolutely not. Test at your own expense of patience, time, money, and appetite. read more

The staff were rude from the moment I entered the restaurant. They told me they had only a 10 min grace period, that was a lie. Then when I asked questions about it, the hostess just stared at me. My reservation was at 7:30pm, online it says 15min grace period; I arrived & spoke with the host at 7:44pm. After I was seated at 7:48pm, no waters till 8pm, then no waitress till 8:20pm. It's a Saturday night I'm a party of three & the restaurant wasn't packed. Waitress was not properly trained, manager was rude & tried to be condescending. I get it the restaurant is still "new" but still customer service has to be improved. I've never been to a restaurant that had a sommelier, after requested never showed up at the table. I watched him look, point, discuss with our waitress, the manager, & other guests. At this point the restaurant still isn't packed in the section we're sitting in. Now what I can say is the food was great! Appetizers we ordered were the spinach dip & the potstickers. We all loved our food as well, we had lamb chops, Chicago filet, & pork chops. The ambiance was nice, you can tell they took their time with the decor. I can say it was esthetically pleasing. Live band was great as well, they made up for the poor service! All that I ask if you know you had poor customer service, and you messed up all night. Management simply apologize, that would've made me give you another chance. First, our waiter expressed disappointment through his response and expression when we didn't order drinks. Secondly, after I told our waiter my order, he continued to recommend and borderline insist that I order the surf and turf. Once our main course arrived, the waiter placed my girlfriend's silverware on the bare table. When I asked him to hand me my silverware he said the table was clean, as if that mattered after I had asked him to hand it to me. The manager confirmed that it is not protocol to place silverware on the bare table. Lastly, ***Do not order the Lobster Mac & Cheese.*** I am fairly certain it contains imitation lobster meat that was mushy in texture and lacked any lobster flavor. Do not go here if you have an allergy. I have a gluten allergy and although we called before hand to make sure I could eat something, when we went for a friend's birthday on Saturday night I ended up getting very sick. I was so sick the next entire day. I spoke to a manager before ordering, a man I'm not sure his name, and he literally had no idea what he was talking about. I told him I had a severe gluten allergy and he first starts to say that everything with an asterisk means it's gluten free (although at the bottom of the menu it says asterisk for nuts, gluten, shellfish) and when I mentioned that he then says "oh yeah you might be right okay so anything without the asterisk is gluten free". Which also was clearly not the case. What he recommended for my allergy (a stir fry) I asked the server about and she informed me the stir fry was full of soy sauce. My dish ended up being remade twice and still came out with gluten. The general manager then came to the table and started with "I've remade your dish four times now, what's wrong with it now?". I wasn't too thrilled how she treated me initially but she did get our table 2 bottles of bubbles to make up for everything that happened. I appreciate that but unfortunately it just did not make up for how sick I was. If you have an allergy you understand how hard/scary it is going out to eat in the first place, do not waste your night going here. The guy manager definitely needs to be retrained on the menu, I'm just so thankful I didn't have an allergy where my throat closed or something like that. read more

The main courses were very okay and the dessert was very underwhelming. Service was very good at first but once they got a little busier the waitress didn't come back for like 15 min at a time. She was very nice though. Noting there was a 20% service fee and then the receipt still asked for an additional 20%+ tip once you paid, which left a bad taste in our mouths. Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I have a shellfish allergy, and as I always do when dining out, I informed the waiter before ordering. When my food arrived, there was shrimp on my plate. When I raised concerns, the waiter was dismissive, took the plate back, and shortly after returned what was clearly the same steak, simply re-cooked, as it came back well done despite me ordering it medium. I took one bite and could immediately tell the food had been cross-contaminated. I sent the order back again, but the general manager was just as dismissive and unconcerned about the seriousness of a food allergy. To make matters worse, my friend found a ladybug in her salad, and the manager's response was, "Well, they have to live somewhere." Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Food allergies should be taken seriously, and the lack of care, accountability, and professionalism from both the staff and management was extremely disappointing. I stopped in to try this new spot and planned to just have a cocktail at the bar. The space itself is interesting--there's a lot of new décor and most of it is high quality, even if the styles don't fully come together. It definitely has potential and makes a good first impression visually. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience didn't match that level. The bartender was friendly, but repeatedly called me "baby," which felt a bit uncomfortable and out of place given the setting. I had also asked specifically for a martini in a V-shaped glass, and while she said yes, it was served in a different glass and only about half full. On top of that, their glasses are cheap and tacky. Small details like that matter, especially at a place positioning itself as more upscale. Later, I ordered a salad and a different drink, which was better, but the salad never arrived, even after a long wait. I understand kitchens can get busy, but the restaurant was only 20% full, so the delay was surprising--especially for a simple salad. When the bill came, it was nearly $50 for two drinks. I was told one was a "double," which I never requested. To his credit, the manager did adjust the bill. He was professional and clearly knowledgeable but definitely has some challenges ahead. That said, I left feeling like there were multiple missed opportunities to turn my experience around. I really wanted to like this place, and I can see the potential. With some attention to service details, improving the quality of their beverage glasses and communication, it could be much better.
