Gypsy Lime Taco Lounge was such a great find! The food was incredibly fresh, and I couldn't believe it wasn't busier. Like no one was in there and I'm trying to figure out why? Maybe I shouldn't tell y'all ... The atmosphere was laid-back and inviting, perfect for a casual night out. Our server was attentive and made some excellent recommendations. My favorites were the Shrimp Street Tacos--loaded with flavor and everything you want in a taco--and the Lockhart, which had slow whiskey-smoked brisket that was tender and mouthwatering, with pickles that surprisingly worked perfectly on a taco. The kiwi and hibiscus margaritas were both refreshing and packed a punch. Between the great drinks, flavorful food, and relaxing patio, I'll definitely be back! Oh and I got my cousin Texas rancher tacos to go he loved them so safe to say we found a new spot!

Decided to give this place a try and overall it was pretty good!! Absolutely loved the patio seating area; it's very clean and cozy. The server was very kind and even came over to talk to us. We ordered spicy shrimp, barbacoa and al pastor Street tacos as well as a burrito. Portions are great! The burrito was huge and they didn't skimp out on filling it. We were a bit disappointed in the burrito and shrimp tacos lacking in flavor though. The spicy shrimp tacos were not spicy at all. The salsa and toppings really added to them but there wasn't much seasoning to the shrimp or barbacoa. The al pastor taco however was very delicious!! Still worth it to try this restaurant!! :)

Great Food !!! I couldn't get enough of the Steak Fajita taco. I came in during happy hour and the prices are misleading. I was told when I compared my receipt to the listed drink price that the prices are from the pandemic. Maybe they are focusing on the food but I probably won't come back for the bar experience. But the food is great, will probably just order to go until they figure out what they want to do with the bar. I noticed no bar stools at the bar and I had to pull one up. Plus the tvs normally placed at the bar were not installed and did not exist. Great place to grab lunch quickly or order to go!

Tacos were just okay but the torta was amazingly huge! I would recommend splitting the torta with two people or if you're a huge person, getting one all for yourself. Tacos and how good they were depended on what kind you got. Unfortunately, the breakfast taco was the worst one today, it tasted as if they cooked the eggs right after cooking a lot of fish so there was a huge fishy taste to them : (

Had a casual business lunch meeting with my team last week at the Gipsy Lime taco lounge. Loved the ambiance and energy here. Very cool designs scattered all around. Especially liked the old metal stamped signage at the entrance by the door - very cool vintage stuff. Staff was super cool and attentive, really couldn't want for more. Pricing is par for the course, about what I'm expect to pay. We got the Lockhart nachos as an appetizer that was pretty bomb. I got a burrito bowl that was on point, the team has a variety of tacos, which everyone said we're really good. Nothing but good things to say about this place. 2 thumbs way up! Go check them out, worth the stop for sure, you wont regret it.

Yum! Great taco choices, ingredients and price. Yum! Outdoor seating for place to chill and kick it with self or hombres.

Delicious sauces that I can drink on its own. Avocado & Bombay to Goa tacos were incredible!! I love the warm salsa. It's so rare to find warm salsa!! Such a large food selection and everything is fresh. Passion fruit margarita was so good. Their happy hours are 4-8 and great pricing. Love this place. I highly recommend it. Owner is a foodie you can tell with the quality of food he serves. Great service and ambiance is laid back friendly blots of tvs & music but you can find a good Joey corner if you need.

I love this!! I ordered a bowl with rice and meat and toppings and it was delicious. The spicy salsa is no joke-- real heat! My husband tried a couple of street tacos and enjoyed them. I can't comment on the service because you order at the counter but my food was good and I love the atmosphere of the restaurant.

My fiance met me here on my lunch break today and we wanted to try a few things. Let me just say EVERYTHING was so good. We will be returning. I highly recommend the Texas Ranger taco and the cowboy queso

The carne asada fries were soooo good, the sampler was good we shared all between 3 of us and omg this place got us right!! The margaritas were so good and the service was great. Not many people but definitely deserves more recognition. Good music and great vibe overall.

I'm not sure if it's because I went close to closing or what but I was not impressed. When taking my order the cashier didn't know what the gourmet taco of the week/month/day/ whatever was on the blackboard was. She never asked for dine in or Togo. Partially my fault I should have mentioned it but of course I assumed she knew lol. Because of that lack of communication on both sides my queso what brought to me for dine it. She apologize and went to the front counter and scooped it into a Togo container. The environment is cute, you can definitely tell they wanted to have IG worthy picture opportunities. The Hibiscus Margarita was good, a tad on the sweet side. The Jamaican taco was hot hot, I could not taste the jerk only heat. I also got the tonkastu taco, the fried pork was burnt, and I forgot the last one because it wasn't memorable. All the tacos had heat with no flavor and dry meat. Maybe because it was the last of the batch on a Wednesday night. I wanted to like this place. But I won't be returning.

Saw the margarita tower on IG and had to come. I treated a friend for her birthday. The 5th star is only missing due to the decor seeming to be not complete yet. The margaritas were good - my favorites are Hawaiian Papaya and Pineapple. We ordered The Gaucho and the Rastaman tacos. I also got one Spicy Fish taco. All were well seasoned and flavorful, especially the skirt steak in The Gaucho! Service was good although I wish we had been offered a 2nd water. I want to go back and try more!

Queso- quite bland so I had to add salsa. See how teeny tiny the salsa cups are?!

This was my first time dining at Gipsy Lime Taco. I liked the open layout of the restaurant, with high ceilings and simple tables. I started with a cup of queso- it was bland and minimal peppers and onions. They offer a "salsa bar" with only four to try. The teeny tiny cups to use for the salsa were on the ridiculous side. I had the ahi tuna taco as well as the Shrimp Po-boy taco. They were on the small side compared to other taco restaurants in the area. They tasted fine but the soft taco shell literally fell apart since they didn't warm them. I had a mess from this and didn't even try to hold the second as a taco- had to use a fork. The person at the register was pulling a double duty- ringing up orders and bringing out the food, so a line formed as people waited. He was patient and friendly- sucks that he was having to do so much. Strange! Will I be back? No. There are delicious Mexican restaurants all along the highway, and I certainly wouldn't crave their food. Bummer!

It definitely blows typical bar food out of the water; it's evident that the owners have restaurant and service industry experience because every little detail has been thought of. They even make their sauces in house!! The juicy thick hotdog - could not get enough. The parmesan French fries - devoured. The tasty, cheesy burger rivaled any other gourmet burger joint. The place is a great time for people of all ages. There's plenty of seating. The sports are playing, and they encourage people to socialize, chat, and play games. I love the drink concept because it allows for folks to try a little bit of various options ... which they do have a number of local options on their wall. This is what I would return for, and bring friends to tet before we end up at another activity. Food wise: got a smash burger which came with fries, which if I order it again I'd probably change cheeses and ask for some pepper to season the fries a bit more ... all personal preferences... but was ok for something to eat to off set the two drinks I had while there. I also got some tacos to go for my husband. Again personal preference, he would have liked more seasoning/spice on the actual meat of the taco vs being as reliant on the salsa. So, on our next visit we might just stick with shareables/apps with our drinks.
