Decided to give this place a try and overall it was pretty good!! Absolutely loved the patio seating area; it's very clean and cozy. The server was very kind and even came over to talk to us. We ordered spicy shrimp, barbacoa and al pastor Street tacos as well as a burrito. Portions are great! The burrito was huge and they didn't skimp out on filling it. We were a bit disappointed in the burrito and shrimp tacos lacking in flavor though. The spicy shrimp tacos were not spicy at all. The salsa and toppings really added to them but there wasn't much seasoning to the shrimp or barbacoa. The al pastor taco however was very delicious!! Still worth it to try this restaurant!! :)

Great Food !!! I couldn't get enough of the Steak Fajita taco. I came in during happy hour and the prices are misleading. I was told when I compared my receipt to the listed drink price that the prices are from the pandemic. Maybe they are focusing on the food but I probably won't come back for the bar experience. But the food is great, will probably just order to go until they figure out what they want to do with the bar. I noticed no bar stools at the bar and I had to pull one up. Plus the tvs normally placed at the bar were not installed and did not exist. Great place to grab lunch quickly or order to go!

Tacos were just okay but the torta was amazingly huge! I would recommend splitting the torta with two people or if you're a huge person, getting one all for yourself. Tacos and how good they were depended on what kind you got. Unfortunately, the breakfast taco was the worst one today, it tasted as if they cooked the eggs right after cooking a lot of fish so there was a huge fishy taste to them : (

Had a casual business lunch meeting with my team last week at the Gipsy Lime taco lounge. Loved the ambiance and energy here. Very cool designs scattered all around. Especially liked the old metal stamped signage at the entrance by the door - very cool vintage stuff. Staff was super cool and attentive, really couldn't want for more. Pricing is par for the course, about what I'm expect to pay. We got the Lockhart nachos as an appetizer that was pretty bomb. I got a burrito bowl that was on point, the team has a variety of tacos, which everyone said we're really good. Nothing but good things to say about this place. 2 thumbs way up! Go check them out, worth the stop for sure, you wont regret it.

Tacos, duh...

Yum! Great taco choices, ingredients and price. Yum! Outdoor seating for place to chill and kick it with self or hombres.

Passion fruit margarita

Delicious sauces that I can drink on its own. Avocado & Bombay to Goa tacos were incredible!! I love the warm salsa. It's so rare to find warm salsa!! Such a large food selection and everything is fresh. Passion fruit margarita was so good. Their happy hours are 4-8 and great pricing. Love this place. I highly recommend it. Owner is a foodie you can tell with the quality of food he serves. Great service and ambiance is laid back friendly blots of tvs & music but you can find a good Joey corner if you need.

My fiance met me here on my lunch break today and we wanted to try a few things. Let me just say EVERYTHING was so good. We will be returning. I highly recommend the Texas Ranger taco and the cowboy queso

I love this!! I ordered a bowl with rice and meat and toppings and it was delicious. The spicy salsa is no joke-- real heat! My husband tried a couple of street tacos and enjoyed them. I can't comment on the service because you order at the counter but my food was good and I love the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Sampler Carne Asada Fries kiwi margarita, hibiscus margarita, mango margarita

The carne asada fries were soooo good, the sampler was good we shared all between 3 of us and omg this place got us right!! The margaritas were so good and the service was great. Not many people but definitely deserves more recognition. Good music and great vibe overall.

I'm not sure if it's because I went close to closing or what but I was not impressed. When taking my order the cashier didn't know what the gourmet taco of the week/month/day/ whatever was on the blackboard was. She never asked for dine in or Togo. Partially my fault I should have mentioned it but of course I assumed she knew lol. Because of that lack of communication on both sides my queso what brought to me for dine it. She apologize and went to the front counter and scooped it into a Togo container. The environment is cute, you can definitely tell they wanted to have IG worthy picture opportunities. The Hibiscus Margarita was good, a tad on the sweet side. The Jamaican taco was hot hot, I could not taste the jerk only heat. I also got the tonkastu taco, the fried pork was burnt, and I forgot the last one because it wasn't memorable. All the tacos had heat with no flavor and dry meat. Maybe because it was the last of the batch on a Wednesday night. I wanted to like this place. But I won't be returning.

The customer service, food quality, and experience here has always been a 10/10. They make some of the best margaritas I've had with no processed syrups. They do stuff in house here, including the hand pressed tortillas. I love the Calyborian boar and K pop tacos. One of the managers said it best "we make it just like you'd make it at home". The burrito bowls are great and a good value. Give this a try in your lunch break or for dinner!

Runny and bad tasting salsa

Chips and salsa, is a runny watered down onion, celery mix. Not good. Server moves at a turtle pace and mumbles. Place use to be much better. So many better places to go, do not recommend this place.

Food wise: got a smash burger which came with fries, which if I order it again I'd probably change cheeses and ask for some pepper to season the fries a bit more ... all personal preferences... but was ok for something to eat to off set the two drinks I had while there. I also got some tacos to go for my husband. Again personal preference, he would have liked more seasoning/spice on the actual meat of the taco vs being as reliant on the salsa. So, on our next visit we might just stick with shareables/apps with our drinks.

She stayed engaged, checked in at the right times, and made sure everything was handled without needing to be asked twice. That's not luck--that's professionalism. She brings a mix of intelligence and humor that makes the experience better without being forced or over the top. More importantly, she executes. Orders are right, timing is right, and the overall experience feels intentional--not neglected. If you're going to Rowdy Cowboy, don't leave it to chance. Ask for Taylor by name. My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (5 Stars if you only care about service) Atmosphere - It's pretty electric. There is a large bar in the middle, tons of bar seating, and during my Thursday visit for lunch, it was packed. The vibes are good, and tons of TVs are showing sports. If you have an XY chromosome, this is your place. 1 Star. Service - Rowdy Cowboy is known for having great servers who are very friendly (and nice to look at). All tables were taken, so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were fast, efficient, and very friendly. They got my order wrong, but I don't care. Their friendliness made me not care. 1 Star. Food - Look, if you're here, you're not here for the food. I started with the Steak Frites. The steak was super tender but lacked seasoning. The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders. I didn't mind because our bartenders were so friendly, but the sliders were just ok. Remember, this place is not known for the food. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Rowdy Cowboy knows exactly what it does well, and believe me it does it well. In fact, out of all the restaurants in this genre, Rowdy Cowboy has the friendliest staff. Yes, I will be back. 1 Star.

We love the decor and era theme with the MTV music video vibes. Like others have mentioned though, the service needs attention. We typically have issues with getting service on the patio, drinks are slow, we have to push for additional drinks, our food isn't severed timely, etc. Our most recent visit, I have to give our server credit, the pre-lunch salad was ordered incorrectly so it went back and by the time they re-made the salad, it came out after the main meal. My husband HATES that! We do not think twice to drive 45 minutes to get to Rock & Brew for the blackberry mojitos but to get bad service, that makes it difficult to justify. If you are headed to the bar to just have a few blackberry mojitos, I recommend this place all day. If you want service and plan to eat, I am not sure I would give it any stars with the last few visits. We have had great service here, just not in the last 3 visits.
