The Library had been recommended to me and the reviews looked great so it was the pick for our get together with long time friends. I was a little worried, because there were 8 of us and when I called they would not take a reservation. The employee I spoke to told me I wouldn't have a problem getting a table on the Friday after Christmas at 6. So when I got there and saw how small the space is I was surprised, but also she wasn't wrong, we pushed two tables together and we had enough for 8. They had a consistent flow of customers, but it never got overly crowded. It is a pretty basic bar set up, nothing fancy. The bartender/waitress was very good. Even when she made a mistake on one of the guy's drinks, she quickly fixed it. And...she was THE only bartender/waitress all night! Almost four of us girls got the Chef Fermin's Chicken Carciofo. It is delicious! We all loved it. I love artichoke hearts and spinach so I thought it was the perfect dish. My husband said his sliders were overcooked, so he did not love his meal as much. They have a nice cocktail selection. There was only a small wine selection. The prices are very reasonable. I had been a little skeptical when I found out it was a bar/restaurant in a hotel, but it's a nice place for dinner and a drink. The bathrooms are in the hotel hallway. The hotel desk agent happily took our picture in front of their Christmas Tree. Overall it was a good time. I didn't get any photos of the meal, though. read more

Small location but BIG Flavor. Very tiny Bar/Lounge inside the residence inn but the Food was superb. The Five Pepper Chicken was excellent, flavorful and very filling. The Crab stuffed shrimp was amazing and were gone before i could snap a picture. Sliders i will say came out a little dry but nonetheless still very good. The BBQ wings were great too. This restaurant is a wonderful enigma. It is inside the residence inn, a place where you'd never look. The chef makes amazing food. You simply must go here. We tried the blue crab stuffed shrimp and the Chef's chicken cariofo. Both were very rich and satisfying. Something you would find at any fine dining establishment. Service by Amber was top notch. All this in a tiny but tasteful cozy restaurant. Truly a hidden gem. We will become regulars to try the entire menu ... and then start over again. read more

I came here because I used to work at a Hotel in grapevine. The guests always said this place is so cool. Turns out it is a restaurant in another hotel, which I was totally unaware of. The restaurant i thought would have books or Something, which I didn't see. The bartender was our waiter. He was kind of slow. He only had 3 tables but it took him forever to come take our order. I ordered a salad, which was good, but it took like minutes to come out. There is also no Restaurant bathroom, only a hotel lobby restroom for you to use. They did however make Decent Appletini's which were great! read more

It's in the Residence Inn Hotel and entrance is either via hotel Lobby or a door on the front side of Hotel Went for lunch and it was very quiet and we had a lovely time. They are open daily at 11am and even though no one was there (we went at 1pm on Thursday) they promptly got a server to help us. They have a HH and I think it starts at 3 but the glass of wine we had was only 7.00 and was tasty. The fried and onion rings that came with our sandwiches where're great! I am basing this strictly on atmosphere, i did not sit down nor eat anything. I looked inside and came to the conclusion the name should be changed from the Library to the Morgue. It was so dark and quiet it might be great for a romantic date but other than that it's not what I need in a hotel bar. However the Hilton across the street has an awesome bar with a patio and firepit and a much livelier atmosphere. I've gone there every night of my stay. read more

I've come here back in June when my friend was staying at the Residence Inn(I love the Resistance Inn!)and she and I went downstairs to eat at this restaurant. This lovely restaurant is located inside the Residence Inn. It was so hot and we didn't feel like going too far to go eat, so we decided to eat here. It's a very cute restaurant/bar. I ordered grilled salmon and my friend ordered fish tacos. My salmon came with pasta and vegetables and it was surprisingly delicious and I thought that the presentation of my meal was extremely appealing and fancy looking. My friend's meal looked amazing as well. The server/bartender was friendly and prompt. I would definitely love to come back again. read more

OMG! Went here based off from the reviews. Reviews were totally wrong! When I placed the order was told 15 mins for the order to be ready. Walked in about 12 mins so 3 mins before the due time. The bar tender asked what my order was, then answered her own question stating the chicken fried stake with 3 other items. She informed me it would be another 10 to 15 mins. Hum so 30 mins from ordered placed not 15. Then when my I received my order it was missing the chicken fried steak. Good thing I checked it when I received it. I informed the bar tender and she said I never ordered it. I asked her to check the order. She never said anything just walked away and proceeded to the kitchen. A minute later she came back and said it would be about 10 mins or so for the chicken fried steak. Got back to the hotel and now here's the food review. Hum normally Yelp reviews are spot on but this was was a total miss! 100% a total miss! The food was so so. Honestly threw most of it away. The flat bread tasted like frozen yuck! The chicken fried steak was just ok nothing to rave about nor would we order it again. The salad was good but the cheesecake was the best thing we ordered. This the one star. read more
