    Paloma

Came here for a little late afternoon Friday drinking. The chips and queso were delicious, as well as the fried pickles. The drinks were well made. I had the Paloma and my wife had vodka sodas with cranberry. Good pours. I saw the food served for other tables, and the food looked good. Service needs to be better though

We came for Bad Santa's Pop Up Bar and reserved a bubble for 1pm. When you first arrive to park you get to view the beautiful Grapevine Lake. We arrived early so we were able to really take it all in and get a few good pictures. Located in the Scott's Landing Marina, towards the back the cantina has everything festively decorated to get you in the Christmas spirit. Once you arrive you're welcomed with drinks that come with the reservation and menus. Everything on the menu is Christmas themed and although a limited menu they did not limit the flavors. EVERYTHING we order was GOOD!!! Staff is super sweet. Bad Santa is an ass but totally hilarious and fun (he truly plays his role well). We definitely recommend this experience but possibly much better during the night with the Christmas lights but then you'd miss the view of the lake so it really depends on what you're looking for. Either way you can't go wrong.

What a great pop-up experience! We were a little concerned that the 1.5-hour time limit wouldn't be enough, but it ended up being perfect. From the moment we arrived, the festive décor and friendly staff set the mood. We were greeted with our holiday cocktail (so good!). The menu is limited for the pop-up, but the flavor certainly isn't! We ordered the sliders and split the burger--both were incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. We left stuffed! For drinks, we tried the Old Fashioned, the Grinch Punch, and Rudolph's Hot Toddy. All were creative, fun, and strong... no complaints here! Reservations are $15 per person for a 1.5-hour experience and include your first cocktail. Larger groups even get their own igloo

I was just told about this hidden gem, and had to check it out. It's not obvious that there is a restaurant until you walk towards the dock. I love that they have open seating. With the weather being nice, it's the perfect time to enjoy the nice, large outdoor patio with a view of the lake. Parking was very easy to find since they have a huge lot. The service could be a little bit better. We had empty water cups, but the server didn't notice to refill those for us. I had the shrimp street tacos that come with beans and rice. The taste was overall average, but nothing beats the ambience and vibe of this place. It's the perfect location for families and groups to hangout.

Location Scott's landing Parking Large lot Atmosphere Dockside marina restaurant Large stage for live music Boats can pull up to the dock. Seating ( I haven't checked inside) Low tables and chairs-great for groups Service So friendly and attentive! Menu So many choices! We got the mango shrimp ceviche. So yum! Not all chopped up but sliced shrimp with mango and jalapeño. Served with chips. I was surprised by the chips-they are dark, not much salt but lighter than they appear-yes, addictive! The cat fish bites were 2 fried pieces-large. We had the fries which were really good-some light coating-not heavily salted. Perfect lunch! Summary We love this place. I was really pleased with the generous serving of ceviche-it just kept going! ! Very relaxing afternoon hang out.

Cool place. Great atmosphere and staff. We went with our sons and It was cold so they put outdoor heaters on for us which was lovely. I got combo fajitas chicken and steak. The steak was a bit chewy, but overall good flavor. Onion rings were a big hit too. We will go back again sometime.

    Little Queen band performing.

We have been there a number of times and each time keeps getting better. Daddy's now has a very nice stage and awesome sound system and is featuring some of the top bands in the area. You can check out the event calendar on their website. We went to see Little Queen this last Saturday night and they were totally amazing. The service is good. The food is good. The drinks are good and the jello shots later in the evening are also quite nice. If you haven't been out there for a nice evening with some live music please do so soon and if you've been there before, just keep doing it.

I'm leaving 3 stars this time because there is some room for improvement with the food quality. The $18 jalapeno burger barely had any jalapenos on it and the $16 chicken bacon avocado sandwich only had 3 little slivers of avocado. We ordered double spicy margaritas and they brought us the drink with a shot on the side and they charged an extra $10 for a double so our "double margaritas" were $22 each. We also tried the painkiller drink which didn't taste like a traditional one and poor presentation. Still great service and ambience though.

We came here for the popup. Very enjoyable. Limited menu but the ham sliders and the smash burger were very tasty. We lucked out and got a good waterside table on a perfect evening. Very good but overpriced special drinks menu. Relaxing and fun.

Make sure everything was going well. Thank God the food here is always delicious so I wouldn't have come back. The food was amazing, I got the pesto Parm sandwich, it was huge and delicious. The chicken was perfect and tender. The pesto was zesty, but not overwhelming and the vodka sauce was perfect. The fries are always tasty, but honestly, I couldn't finish them... I ate all the sandwich, but it was just too good. You couldn't stop. One of the things I do love about this place is the cute speakeasy vibe and I've been here several times and the bartenders normally are awesome and very talented. When I'm not about to go to work, I'll stop by and have a couple of drinks. And I've always had a good experience except for that one time. Just prove that you should always give your favorite places a second chance if you haven't had experience. That everybody has a bad day. Cause today was an excellent day! I really do love this place and I hope you guys come and give it a try

We ordered a variety of dishes including dahi poori, vegetable pakora, paneer chili, gobi Manchurian, veg chili momo, paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, chow mein, and a naan bread basket. The appetizers were better than the North Indian dishes. The paneer tikka masala and malai kofta were on the sweeter side despite us ordering them medium spicy. The kofta balls were also on the smaller side, and the paneer tikka masala had very few pieces of paneer. The chow mein was the star of the meal. It was flavorful and definitely my favorite dish. For the pakora, they only gave a small amount of green chutney, so we had to ask for more along with some tamarind chutney. There's parking behind the restaurant, which was convenient. If you're in the mood for chaat or North Indian food, I would probably choose a different restaurant.

We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

This is what I would return for, and bring friends to tet before we end up at another activity. Food wise: got a smash burger which came with fries, which if I order it again I'd probably change cheeses and ask for some pepper to season the fries a bit more ... all personal preferences... but was ok for something to eat to off set the two drinks I had while there. I also got some tacos to go for my husband. Again personal preference, he would have liked more seasoning/spice on the actual meat of the taco vs being as reliant on the salsa. So, on our next visit we might just stick with shareables/apps with our drinks.
