Such a fun place!! We hung out around one of the few high top tables towards the back and even though we had the button turned on for service we had to go to the bar to get our food/ drinks. The service at the bar was perfect!!!

Summer Cirque

Pretty venue, good for small events, I saw the Summer Cirque performance, and for the price you pay it's a good show. I saw kids in the audience, but just like any live performance kids should be old enough to understand what's going on to enjoy. The venue itself is beautifully located with views of lake grapevine and dedicated parking. Would make a lovely large wedding venue, business party or intimate concert. There is a full bar, however, I didn't partake or get pricing. Keep in mind this is NOT Las Vegas so on a lower scale of expectations +price+ location+ show value I give 4 stars.

Our company utilized this restaurant/bar/nightclub as a venue for our celebration!!! Did they ever choose the most fun, exhilaratingly energetic, extremely large place! It has a band stage, an upstairs/spacious veranda overlooking a spectacular view of the lake, & efficient bar service.

Great food and service! Fun atmosphere for entertaining by the lake! Valet or park and walking both are easy.

Great event center. Our conversation had its evening reception here. Great food and service.

We went here for a friend's birthday party and it was really fun. We had about 15 people in our party and had reserved a table near the dance floor. The venue itself is beautiful. It sits on Grapevine lake and has a large patio and outdoor seating area and is plenty large enough to seat even the biggest groups. Inside is large and spacious and had an upstairs VIP section that they only open if it's really busy. We went on a Saturday night and they had two tribute bands, the first one was for INXS and the other was a George Michael impersonator. Both bands were really good, but not surprisingly the venue wasn't full, which actually made it more fun for our large group. The music was loud but the sound was great! We had bought bottle service and our servers were great. Very friendly and attentive. The crowd was older 40-50's but that could also be because of the bands playing. Valet parking and they validate self parking as well. It was a fun night.

Live music : Yes, the band rocked. Dress code: I didn't see any casual attire, everyone was dressed nice, but since I always dress age appropriate, I never have a problem with getting in. Cover: Friend was staying at hotel, so they didn't charge any of us (8 people) Age: Not sure but I didn't see anyone that looked young Price: $300 for a night of drinking for 8 people isn't that bad but I didn't look at itemization. Additional: I didn't get to see upstairs as it was closed off, but the patio was fantastic, overlooking the lake. I imagine brunch here would be really nice. There are airplanes flying over regularly but this can't be helped in proximity to the airport. Since this was my first visit, I won't give away 5 stars but overall I had a great time!

We just saw an event there. The people are nice but the venue is old and in dire need of upgrades, and very overpriced.

Went to see Uriah Heep. Good drinks. Good food. Great service in addition to a pleasant venue to listen to a concert.

Freezing cold in here. Said the heater is on the fritz but I guess they didn't bother fixing it for this concert.

Ask the Community - Glass Cactus Nightclub

Do they have televisions to watch sporting events?

How old to get in?

I'm not sure but let's just say that the crowd that hangs out there are likely not of the age to get carded, although their children might be. The vibe there is definitely an older crowd.

One of my sons loves art and couldn't wait to walk around this interactive museum. I thought I was bringing my boys to admire the art and to have a good time, but I too had a very enjoyable experience. We visited on a Thursday, a little after noon. It was not too busy at the time, so we were able to truly enjoy the experience without a crowd of people. When we first walked in, we were surprised to find an entire house behind the door. That was the first of the surprises Meow Wolf held. I will not spoil all of the surprises here, but I must say that we were pleasantly surprised as we went through the exhibit. I could tell a lot of work went into making the various rooms and art in the rooms, and I commend the artists' creativity and downright ingenuity. It is true that everything won't appeal to everyone, and I do not know anyone who likes all music that comes on the radio, all art in a museum, or all books that are in a bookstore. The things that we liked, we savored, and the things that we did not like (which wasn't much), were ignored. As I made my way through some of the exhibits, I felt like a child in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. The colors were so vivid, and the art in some areas just seemed to pop off the wall. My sons love having the ability to touch and interact with the art and not just look at it. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are already planning our return.

The Texas chili had a good level of heat, but it was a bit gritty, as if it may have been slightly over-seasoned. My sour cream chicken enchiladas were decent, though not outstanding--the chicken was cubed rather than shredded, which affected the texture for me. My guy ordered the taco salad with spicy beef and really enjoyed it, though it definitely brought the heat--he was sweating by the end. Even so, he said he'd order it again. What really elevated the experience was our waiter, Cameron. He was friendly, attentive, and offered great suggestions. He kept our drinks full without us ever having to ask, refilling our tea at least five times. His service alone took the experience from a 3-star to a 4-star visit.

The parking is difficult, especially on a Sunday, and the people walking on the sidewalks act as though it's their first time on an actual city sidewalk. The band was quite good. The food? Moderate. I would probably give it a B. We did not try the chili, and it is a chili parlor, so shame on us. That said, the sampler platter was nice. It is worth a return trip for another good band. The service was very attentive without interrupting the music - it was a great balance.
