Went to Fiori tonight for Valentine's Day; they had a set menu with 4 courses, each with dishes to choose from. I know my husband and I were a little disappointed at first that there was a set menu, but we decided to stay and begin our night. First of all, the ambiance of the place was great, even though they had extra tables set up for the night, and it was tight. It was still intimate, and such a good atmosphere. Our server was Nicki or Nikki. I apologize if I spelled it incorrectly. She is an amazing server. She was helpful with decision-making, patient, and just very attentive. The food, even though it was a set menu for the evening, had good options, and everything we chose was delicious and flavorful! Fiori I fear has lost their way. We went there tonight for a celebratory dinner. We ordered a bottle of wine and told our server to hold off placing our entrée order for 15 minutes so that we could enjoy a glass of wine in a leisurely fashion. We had no idea it would take an hour and a half for our food to show up. And when it did well, here's how it went. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had the wise guy pizza. My wife enjoyed her plate. Based on the last time I ordered the same pizza a year ago what showed up on the table was a sad echo of something that used to be good. The sauce was very thin and to the point of almost being nonexistent. The meatballs were very stingy as if they were trying to increase their margins by short serving a basic pizza. Overall, it was very dry and lacking of any discernible taste. No doubt because it sat in the kitchen for quite awhile, given the unusual duration that it took for our food to show up. I've had better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. It was a very dry and disappointing for something that used to be overloaded with flavor, sauce and meatball chunks. It was a marked contrast from when we had been here a year ago. What used to be a regular go to has turned into a sad disappointment. I'm putting it down to perhaps they had an off night. But we're not in a hurry to come back anytime soon to see if that was the case. read more

This is our favorite italian spot in flomo. The food all tastes fresh, not sure if the pasta is handmade, but it's good. They're usually busy around happy hour but you should be able to find a spot. They've got a patio as well which is nice for when it's not locust/100 degree season. Staff is always nice and attentative and I like their wines. Def worth a visit. Go twice and try something new. Started up with some bread and olive oil, which was really good. Next we had our drinks which were exceptional. The cold brew old fashioned with Weller was a hit with me. The fiancé had the Capri which had a chunk of blue cheese on a stir stick, Yummy! Service was slow but they were busy. Fiancés son ordered gluten free pizza but they were out of gluten free dough. Waiter suggested grilled chicken with gluten free pasta. It turned out excellent. I had the shrimp & crab Fra Diavolo. Wonderful taste and the portion was more than I could eaten. Ambiance was very nice. Had the appearance of sitting on a patio in Italy. They have a private sitting area for a more private experience. This was my first visit and I will definitely be returning. Bread and oil on the table right away which we love!! The cheesy garlic bread was not hot which was a shame. The chicken parm was solid and the riggatoni was yum! 2nd time I come here and it was great. The restaurant is very nice decorated and has feel good vibes from the moment you step in- possibly the delicious smell helped! Our server, Gabbie, was fantastic! For appetizers, we got the whipped ricotta bruschetta, garlic cheese bread, and Caesar salad. These were all good but the whipped ricotta bruschetta was really delicious and it was filling! For entrees we shared the chicken piccata and the chicken saltimbocca. Both served with risotto. Very tasty and delicious. The risotto, while the taste was great, the texture didn't feel like risotto. But it is difficult to have perfect risotto at a restaurant without waiting 40 min. We closed it out with a bread pudding and it was a great tasty treat in a shareable portion! Definitely coming back! read more

Overall, the food was ok. We came as a group of 10 as our VP of Operations took us out for dinner. We weren't offered bread and oil as many have mentioned in the comments. This was my first time there so I didn't know what to expect to ask. Food took forever to come out. When asked about the availability of items, the server wasn't able to answer with confidence. He seemed distracted most of the time. Half of the party enjoyed the food while the other half were left disappointed. My VP of operations didn't enjoy her food so we will probably not be back. The most interesting part of the night was after receiving our dessert. The server came out with the beet salad for one of us. It was turned away because we had finished and the server asked if the person who ordered it was sure he didn't want it looking confused. Have been here probably about 12-15 times but haven't been back in a hot minute due to it not being close by to where I live. Came here for lunch with my wife. An interesting start as the hostess was no where to be found to get seated. The girl who would be our waitress noticed and took charge, I appreciate that in a person. Caesar Salad is still excellent and appreciate the hint of lemon mixed in (it's the perfect amount) and the croutons are excellent. My wife ordered the butternut squash ravioli which was excellent. I ordered the Sausage and Peppers pasta. Honestly, I regret ordering it. A few things, Fiori does have great food but I question the judgement of removing the sausage and mushroom pasta dish they previously had and supplementing it for this. Anyways I'd say probably stick to the Short Rib Bolognese since I doubt the sausage and mushrooms will be returning. read more

The service here is appalling. You know that fake smile you get with eyes are full of anger? That was our waitress. She ignored us multiple times when we tried to order. We had to ask repeatedly for water. The food took over 30 minutes for our food even though others who came after us got their food. Usually, I love this place. Food is always made well and is high-quality. However, they skimp you on portion sizes sometimes - especially if you order to-go. One of my favorite dishes is the Gorgonzola Salad. Last time I ordered it to-go, the portion size was double, I even received an extra dressing. This time I had to ask my husband if he ordered a half order because the size was honestly less than it was last time - and they even put it in a different, smaller container. A few friends and I came here on a Monday night for dinner. There was ample parking and the restaurant was not very busy. The ambience was perfect - dim lights, not very loud, and relaxing. Our waiter was extremely friendly and told us about some of their items on the menu. I ordered the homemade ravioli which had butternut squash and loved it! There was a dollop of pesto in the middle which also added to the flavorful entree. Every bite was divine and I wish I had a second order. My friends also all loved their orders - chicken parm, chicken marsala, and chicken piccata. We all grabbed tiramisu to go and I honestly inhaled it when I got home. I am writing this to warn other women. A close friend of mine was sexually groped by a kitchen employee while dining here. She immediately reported it to management, and their response was deeply disturbing. Management minimized what happened, dismissed her concerns, and made it clear they were not going to take any action. She was made to feel like it "wasn't a big deal," despite being touched without consent. That kind of response sends a clear message about how seriously (or not) this establishment takes women's safety. We were also told that cameras that could have verified the incident "didn't work." Whether that's true or not, the lack of accountability and concern was unacceptable. Until this restaurant demonstrates that it takes harassment seriously and protects its patrons, I cannot recommend it--especially to women dining alone. read more

Fiori is hands down our favorite Italian restaurant in Flower Mound. The Italian margaritas are incredibly tasty, and the ambience is truly something to be remembered. Everything is excellent--from the appetizers and salads to the wood-fired pizzas and handmade pastas. 10/10 recommend! read more

We had a graduation celebration on December 21 so I called to reserve the chef's room in November. We had 14 people and our waitperson Jake was amazing! The pizzas tasted more or less like marinara dripped flatbread and the vodka sauce pasta was just tossed pasta in store bought sauce. Hands down favorite restaurant in Flower Mound! The food is so mouth watering delicious and the servers are so down to earth and friendly. Based on yelp reviews we gave it a try. I was really looking for some handmade pasta. First clients on a Sunday. Outside said Sundays are happy hour all day. Peyton was our server. We didn't have a great experience. The restaurant itself is fun, upscale enough for cloth napkins, but casual enough for tennis shoes. We split a plate of lasagna, for me it was overly salted and very scarce on cheese. It was one of two items on the menu with handmade pasta. My husband liked it alright. I took a couple of bites, but was not happy. It took a while for Peyton to get back to us. It seemed like she was the only server out front, tending to both the bar and the restaurant side. Not sure if someone was a no show or called in sick. I didn't want to purchase another full entree -especially since everything is a la carte, so asked if they had any bread. She did bring out bread with a small dish of olive oil and balsamic. The bread was delicious! Would have loved some salt and pepper/other spices to add to the oil. We stopped by for a drink and ended up staying for a while! I loved the interior, it is warm and inviting. It made me feel like I am on a vacation and not in Dallas! We sat in the bar area, which was not busy. The bartender provided excellent service, he was friendly and attentive! We tried the Italian wings and garlic bread which were delicious steals at the happy hour prices. The Ceaser Salad was good. We were too full to get any entrees, but not for dessert :) and enjoyed the mini conolies. Great service & delicious food! Reserved the private room for a surprise retirement luncheon for a friend. Looked elsewhere first and was shocked that other places require a minimum spend of up to $500 (food only, alcohol excluded), pre-set menu and one check. Fiori did not charge a minimum - or even a deposit - for their room, we ordered off the regular menus (they have both a lunch menu and full menu), and they split up our checks. The service was great - checked in on us frequently but never rushed us along. It was truly an enjoyable time catching up with old friends, celebrating a retirement, over good food. Prices were reasonable and even the lunch portions were large enough for us to have leftovers. Highly recommend! read more
