I have a group of friends and we go here once a month prior to a meeting close by. I have to say…read morethat I am underwhelmed by this restaurant. Nothing is horrible or tastes bad but nothing is exceptional either. My first time there, I ordered The Big Salad, the name is quite misleading it was anything but big. There was surprisingly few of the ingredients that were supposed to be in the salad. It was supposed to have mushrooms, avocados, sunflower seeds, tomato, carrots, , diced beets and red onions with chicken. There were exactly three small strips of chicken that were unremarkable and certainly not a full portion of chicken. I certainly expected to get a serving of chicken for the cost of the salad. I got exactly two mushroom slices and the same minimal amount of each ingredient. I expected a bountiful salad, but got nothing more than a disappointing salad with a lack of the promised vegetables. Vegetables are inexpensive so I can't imagine why this restaurant is so parsimonious in putting some on their big salad. They do have an excellent happy hour with drinks really inexpensive. Also, they have a deal on appetizers during happy hour with those at $5.00. If you want to save some money, have an appetizer as your entree. One of the ladies in our group got the spinach dip with tortilla chips and bread. It looked yummy and she had some leftover to take home. We had a big group the first time I went. We were seated near a door that went to the patio. Every time someone went in and out a huge gust of air came in. They set up our table in the wrong place. Before we were done with dinner my hair looked like I had been in a hurricane. The wait staff is competent and gets our drinks and food out quickly. That is a plus in my book. So ho-hum bland food with good service. Sometimes you don't get everything you want. I will continue going with my friends and drinking a double gin and tonic to make my meals more enjoyable.

We made reservations. They probably were not needed for the night we were there, but I could see this place filling up quickly on some nights. The restaurant has a cozy retro vibe with MTV videos playing behind the bar and splashes of color throughout. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and the speed of the service was fantastic! Graffiti Pasta specializes in unique, delicious cocktails. There are no beers on tap (just cans), and my husband would have liked to have Peroni on tap even if that were the only choice. I enjoyed two of their cocktail which were both excellent. Our food was delicious and just the right amount of food. We left the restaurant satisfied without feeling like gluttons. Their stuffed mushrooms with filled with a creamy ricotta, the Banksy's Baked Ziti was delicious, and the homemade spaghetti was a special treat. I loved the build your own pasta options, And OMG at their rolls! SO good! Everything was wonderful and truly made for a great dining experience. Now sadly, the service was very very poor. We came in on 10/11 at 7:55 to get a table. for 2 at 8:00 our place on a waitlist was confirmed and we were told it would be 20-25 minutes. We were not sat until 8:40 after having to come back up and check on our table which the host seemed to have forgot as it was open once we walked up. From being sat at 8:40 in the downstairs area, the 2 servers working the area proceeded to walk by us & not say a word for 12 minutes for us to get greeted and get our order in (which we had drinks, apps, & entrees all ready to go by that point) at 9:04 we received our drinks, mind you 26 minutes after we were sat. Our servers were very unenthusiastic, didn't get a proper introduction upon greeting, but our ticket said our servers name was Svaya. From there, everything was slow, getting the check, getting refills, never checked in with us after our food cameThis place is a slam dunk on food, just really needs to get its service up to that same bar.

We had no idea it would take an hour and a half for our food to show up. And when it did well, here's how it went. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had the wise guy pizza. My wife enjoyed her plate. Based on the last time I ordered the same pizza a year ago what showed up on the table was a sad echo of something that used to be good. The sauce was very thin and to the point of almost being nonexistent. The meatballs were very stingy as if they were trying to increase their margins by short serving a basic pizza. Overall, it was very dry and lacking of any discernible taste. No doubt because it sat in the kitchen for quite awhile, given the unusual duration that it took for our food to show up. I've had better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. It was a very dry and disappointing for something that used to be overloaded with flavor, sauce and meatball chunks. It was a marked contrast from when we had been here a year ago. What used to be a regular go to has turned into a sad disappointment. I'm putting it down to perhaps they had an off night. But we're not in a hurry to come back anytime soon to see if that was the case.

Great recommendations, just a wonderful person to be around. Love love loved her! We ordered a cup and char and spicy mushroom pies and WOW. The dough alone is spectacular. Perfect amount of char to crunch, slight pillowy crust. Just, delicious. The crispy mortadella is the most amazing sandwich ever. Perfect bread. The mortadella is crisped perfectly, the pesto is so flavorful. The insalata verde is an insanely flavorful salad with minimal ingredients. You'd look at it and definitely not expect the bursts of flavor from the dressing. The drinks! Don't even get me started. Do not sleep on the Pin The Tail on the Pony. We had high hopes for Vinifera based on the reviews, and we decided to include a stop to taste a wine flight after a bike ride on a pretty February afternoon. We did not order food, but just wine flights. They do over an excellent selection/variety of wines to choose from. And their patio was the perfect place to enjoy them. While one server seemed friendly, ours was kind of all of the place. They did seem short-staffed since for some reason the other restaurants were all closed at 4pm on a Saturday. Our server did not know the wine menu, and we had to point and have him read from ours. It seems like that should be part of the training for a wine bistro. He did not check on us. And when my husband flagged him down for the check, he was kind of short with us. When he brought the point of sale device to us for us to pay, my husband asked a question about it, and the server said "I do not know if it works or not," and walked away. Thankfully, it did work, so we could pay and ride away. The Flower Mound Riverwalk has struggled to have lasting restaurants from the start. We have tried almost all of them, and the one thing that remains consistent is less than stellar service. Vinifera's atmosphere is ideal for the Flower Mound Riverwalk. So many residents want this area to succeed, but with high turnover, Vinifera needs to have consistent stellar service or it will just be another failed concept.
