    Baked brie toast

LOVED this place. Shocked I'd never been before, loved our server and the baked brie flat bread was insane. I will definitely be coming back for this. Great happy hour and good drinks. We got the petite charcuterie as well which was yummy.

Brunch order of pancakes, great portion!

The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful with our choices which turned out very well. Given this was Valentines's Day, we had the breakfast brunch of biscuits and gravy, avocado toast and the big breakfast. All were excellent with good portion size and flavorful treats. Would highly recommend giving this new bar and restaurant on the Riverwalk a chance.

If you wanna feel special, do not go here, we aware it was my birthday and nobody said happy birthday. The food was cold. The chicken marsala sauce was broken. The salmon has barbecue sauce on it, which was very weird. I can appreciate having four people take care of our tables, but what I can't is they don't talk to each other so nobody told the chef that I could not have seeds and seeds came in one of our entrées. The bubble flight was amazing and so were the cocktails. Deviled eggs were delicious. We had the same sides on our dish which did not make sense. Oh let's talk about the music. They played ACDC It is definitely not wine bar where you go to relax. And how does none of the workers or the owners realize that the lights that are under the bar are hanging down and in need to be repaired. It was clear to us that this place being only open for two or three months definitely is going to need some help.

Service: 1/5 We were seated pretty close to our reservation time, so things started off well...until our server showed up. Our waitress had a noticeably unwelcoming attitude. We had a few questions about the menu, but her answers were vague, and she literally walked away while responding. If you hate your job that much, why are you even here? Food: 3/5 The salad was overly drenched in dressing. The pizza was mid at best. The heart shaped pizza definitely wasn't worth the extra cost...but hey, anything for a photo right? No real wow factor. The drinks, though, were solid...especially the espresso martini tower! Ambiance: 4/5 Very girly and cute...perfect for Valentine's vibes. Just wish there were more photo ops. I've tried the spinach dip, Leela's Favorite Board, and half a cheese pizza, and they were all great. The spinach dip was warm and flavorful, the cheese pizza was thin and crunchy, and the board had a great selection of cheese, meat, fruit, and veggies. I especially enjoyed the inside of the watermelon rind. I haven't tried the espresso flight yet, but it's definitely something I'd go for next time. The cocktails are refreshing and really good.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience tonight at The Barrel in Bartonville was…read moreunacceptable. Our waiter made at least four separate mistakes throughout the meal, but one was completely avoidable and had real consequences. We specifically asked him to have my young son's chicken and fries cooled before bringing them to the table because we didn't want him to burn his mouth. He acknowledged the request, but either forgot or ignored it. The food came out straight from the fryer, and within seconds my son burned his mouth exactly as we were trying to prevent. As a parent, that's incredibly frustrating. We communicated a simple safety request, and it wasn't taken seriously. That alone overshadowed the entire meal. For a restaurant that prides itself on providing a high-end dining experience, the level of service we received was far below expectations. Multiple mistakes throughout dinner, combined with a preventable incident involving a child, left us extremely disappointed. We came expecting great food and professional service. Instead, we left frustrated, disappointed, and questioning whether customer care is truly a priority here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because no family should have this kind of experience over a simple request that should have been easy to get right.

It definitely blows typical bar food out of the water; it's evident that the owners have restaurant and service industry experience because every little detail has been thought of. They even make their sauces in house!! The juicy thick hotdog - could not get enough. The parmesan French fries - devoured. The tasty, cheesy burger rivaled any other gourmet burger joint. The place is a great time for people of all ages. There's plenty of seating. The sports are playing, and they encourage people to socialize, chat, and play games. What's better than cold drinks, great food, and fun times with friends? My friends and I will definitely be back!

They do let you know that there is an automatic 20% tip added to your tab up front, which you can add too if checking out using the link they text you. The special thing is they have a wall where you pick your own beer, cider and wine(?) that you activate with your wristband and are charged per ounce. I love the drink concept because it allows for folks to try a little bit of various options ... which they do have a number of local options on their wall. This is what I would return for, and bring friends to tet before we end up at another activity. Food wise: got a smash burger which came with fries, which if I order it again I'd probably change cheeses and ask for some pepper to season the fries a bit more ... all personal preferences... but was ok for something to eat to off set the two drinks I had while there. I also got some tacos to go for my husband. Again personal preference, he would have liked more seasoning/spice on the actual meat of the taco vs being as reliant on the salsa. So, on our next visit we might just stick with shareables/apps with our drinks.

The portions are generous--I brought home half my meal, and it tasted just as good the next day. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was that the restaurant was uncomfortably warm on the Friday evening we visited. In the Texas heat, the last thing you want is to be sweating through dinner. Then they had a BUNCH of ceiling fans turned on blowing the semi warm air around and it just wasn't a pleasant atmosphere with all the air blowing around and making all the different food smells get mixed up while you're trying to enjoy your dish. But moving on to the most important thing in a restaurant.. the food .. We ordered the FILET OSCAR for $48 which was a 10oz Filet Mignon, Crab Cake, Hollandaise Sauce, Asparagus and Whipped Potatoes. The steak was very overcooked. The asparagus was also overcooked somehow. The crab cake was deep fried and so so so oily and dry at the same time while being drenched in whatever sauce it was covered in. The whipped potatoes were pretty good but at this point the entire dish was so bad that there was nothing to accompany the whipped potatoes. The server was very nice and the food came out fairly fast but unfortunately it just didn't taste good. Has anyone else ever seen a deepfried crabcake at an upscale restaurant? Or I guess any restaurant for that matter? It was just a very distasteful way to present a dish that should have taken more tlc to prepare rather than just to bread and throw in a fryer like that. Sad day for us as this was on our date night list of local places to try out. We did flag down the manager to give him some live feedback. Hopefully he will try to make things a little better for other costumers.
