Came here with friends and had a wonderful time! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. The owner even came out to introduce himself, share the history of the restaurant, and make us feel right at home. That personal touch made the experience even more special. Not only the food is really good but the interior design is so unique, it really pulls you in for a good time. This spot is not only good for going out with friends and having delicious food but they also offer many events such as mini arcade area, amazing bar, karaoke and more. Our server was the sweetest, most patient, kind young lady I have ever met. I can't believe I did not get her name! The food was good, portions were good. I had the bulgogi loaded fries and breaded chicken sandwich with Parmesan truffle fries. Fries are nice and crispy. Everything had great flavor. Wow. This place is next door to the gym I go to, and WOW! The service was top tier. She was so patient with our 3 toddlers, came to check on us very often, did not look annoyed or complain about all the requests (toddler asked her for high chair, trips to refill water, trips for ranch and spicy mayo, etc) She was amazing! We decided to go here for my birthday dinner after throwing axes at Corky's. I am so glad we did. The waitress was awesome and Dan the owner was too. They are just starting up and are changing their menu so be patient with them. They have karaoke on Thursday nights and trivia and music bingo on Wednesdays. The food was all excellent. My wife and I attended the grand opening with six of our friends. I will say up front the owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. The place kept pretty much everything in place the same as predecessor (mad for chicken), including some of the menu items. That being said, let me just sum up the evening. We were passed over several times to put in our orders in the first place. The drinks were super slow getting out and not all of them came out at the same time. We wanted to try a number of items since the food was 10% off this evening. We thought the fusion ideas would be great.... But only two of us (who arrived late and put their order in after the rest of us) got their food and the rest of us finally gave up after an hour wait to find out that our original order hadn't been entered. They were very apologetic and explained they had someone go home sick so were short-handed. Understandable but also it's clear there's a very serious lack of service experience here. No doubt they will learn quickly....LOL... I hope they get an experienced manager who can put them in position for people to enjoy the service and food ideas they have in mind. We went to another location further down the building and were able to salvage the evening. Most of the folks in our group are understanding but I'd say we won't be back for a while to let them get things straightened out. read more

First the bad. There were 5 of us and during the meal our daughter had an episode, not related to this restaurant, and we needed to leave. We flagged down a server to pay and they brought over a device to pay with. Added a tip and processed the card. On the way home, I checked the receipt and they had already add a gratuity to the bill, so I paid the gratuity twice. My fault for being in such a hurry and not checking, but this did really irritate me! The good was that the food was really good. Everyone with a chicken meal loved it, the one with a burger said that it was just ok. The service in general was good. The portions were large and the food came out timely. I found this place on Yelp! I didn't realize from the Yelp! page that they were still in their grand opening and are brand new. We decided to give it a shot and were pretty impressed! It is a fusion spot, for sure. The bartender greeted us and we chose to sit at the bar. The owner was around as well and talked to us about some menu items and their preparations. The place is cute, with neat barn-ish doors. There is a back room with TVs and pool tables. There are lots of TVs in the main room/bar. I had the macaroni and cheese and added both the crispy chicken and the crispy fried paneer. It was all good. Mom got 2 kinds of chicken wings that she enjoyed. I visited Rock Pepper Fire with my wife, drawn in by their sleek, professional website and pictures of interesting and appetizing fare. As supporters of new local businesses, we were looking forward to trying something different. We ordered the ribeye lettuce wraps, three-meat spring rolls, truffle fries, and edamame. But while the menu offered creative-sounding options, the actual food fell significantly short. Spring Rolls: Priced at $10.70 for two, these were served with a sauce in one of those little plastic tubs you get with take-away food. The rolls themselves were dry and flavorless. I could not detect anything "spring" about them or any distinct meat flavor - just a processed-tasting blend resembling mechanically recovered meat in sauce. I left most of it uneaten. Truffle Fries: These were possibly the most disappointing item. They appeared to have been partially cooked earlier, left to sit, and then flash-fried before serving. The result was dry, limp fries with a faint dusting of truffle essence. It's rare to encounter truffle fries this underwhelming, especially at this price point. Korean Ribeye Lettuce Wraps ($19.20). These were the most expensive item we tried and, unfortunately, the least edible. The rice base was dense and overcooked, possibly reheated multiple times. The beef was overwhelmingly salty, had no sauce or anything with it, and had the taste and texture of pre-cooked fajita strips. I asked our server if the meat was fresh or came out of a packet. He said it didn't come out of a packet. I asked him it it was fresh or frozen and he said, "That I couldn't tell you.' When asked by the server if we'd like to join their loyalty program, I politely declined and explained that the food quality had been far below expectations. While he did apologize, there was no offer to escalate the concern or take any action. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, recognizing that he isn't responsible for what happens in the kitchen, and still left a tip. I don't mind paying for quality food. But I do mind paying premium prices for what tasted like mass-produced frozen meals. None of the dishes had the hallmarks of fresh preparation, and the gap between the professional photography on the website and what was served was striking. I've included photos for reference. As my wife and I were leaving, a gentleman in the next booth was pushing his half eaten bowl into the center of the table. He was talking to the person he was with and shaking his head. "Not good?" I asked as we were passing. "Terrible," he said. No owner sets out to provide a bad experience for their customers, but it happens. And if it was just not our thing, or our expectations were too high, I'd be willing to admit it. But, for example, with the promise of "rib eye" lettuce wraps that ended up resembling processed fajita meat and priced at $19:20, I believe my expectations were reasonable. This restaurant may still be working through early operational challenges, but having opened in October, this level of quality is concerning. I don't go out to spend money in the hope of anything other than a good experience. I genuinely hoped to enjoy and support Rock Pepper Fire. Sadly, based on this experience, I cannot recommend it - and we won't be returning. read more

Plan on this restaurant failing in the near future. The food is decent but somewhat overpriced. I've been a patron a half dozen times and the service has been slightly worse each time. Last night will be the last time I bother. I placed an online order for pickup and had to wait at the host station for a full hour after they said the order would be ready. The entrance was full of frustrated people waiting to be seated or waiting for pickup orders that were long overdue. I assume there was no manager on site given that the young staff was in complete disarray and while I waited for an hour I never once saw anyone in charge address the crowd of dissatisfied customers.
