    Chicken Vermicelli

The food is always delicious. I love the presentation of food. The chicken vermicelli meal with shrimp rolls for an appetizer are the best! The service is good. The staff have always been kind. I like the ambiance of the restaurant.

Pho Tai- I ordered the beef on the side, rare.

Finally! An authentic, non-fusion Vietname restaurant Pros: food quality was great. Their pho bowl is pretty big, they gave lots of beef slices for my pho Tai, the eggrolls were traditional south vietnamese rolls, and their ice coffee hit the spot. Again, traditional so it was perfect. Their service was great. Attentive but not hovering. Food was fast! Came out piping hot and fresh. Cons: really the only thing i have to echo is their prices are quite high. $6.95 for 2 egg rolls is a bit pricey for me especially since I can make the same homemade version. Their location is kinda hidden, so they really need to step up advertisements to get their name out. I imagine the rent here isn't cheap and running a restaurant in today's economy is TOUGH. The margins are so so very little, I'm sure if they could, they'd bring the prices down to keep the doors open. I really do hope they do well and will survive. I love the idea of a no hype, traditional vietnamese restaurant in the area. I'm definitely coming back and will try to do my part in supporting them!

Really fresh and hot chicken. Great service and value…read more I did not expect a Korean restaurant based on the exterior. I was in the mood for fried chicken and got popcorn chicken and fries. Everything was hot and fresh. Fries were not overcooked and not factory made, reconstituted potatoes. Solid. Chicken piping hot, decent breading (although they did not seem double breaded as suggested by waitress), and the sweet and spicy sauce I selected was very good. $10.38 before tip, including a fountain drink, was a real bargain. Server Hannah Sung was amazing. Attentive and helpful explaining menu and Korean food to me. Nice work Hannah! I'll be back. Recommended.

I'm Korean and am familiar with many Korean fried chicken restaurants in LA and now in Dallas (I need to update my reviews), but seriously, it was so bad that we even debated taking the half we didn't eat to our home. In fact, we were sh#t talking the poor left over chicken as it sat in the floor of our passenger seat area. We ordered the soy garlic and the parmesan chicken. The parmesan (the lighter one) tasted sour. Yes, sour. WTH. Oh the moo (white radish's broth was so watered down. It's supposed to have a more sweeter than vinegary taste to it, but it was so weak it tasted more like water than anything else. The truffle fries though were really good though. Our waitress, a young African American lady, provided us good service. But the chicken---whoa. We will not return.

I walked in and placed and order, and it was fairly quick to get my food. I guess it wasn't too busy at the time. I ended up getting the soy garlic flavor on boneless chicken, and the owner told me that it was the most popular flavor. Glad i went with it... its simple yet delicious. The extra-crispy coating of the chicken pared with the soy garlic flavor was really good. I know there are other korean fried chicken spots in Carrollton, but when i'm around flower mound and craving fried chicken, i'll be back here.

I believe it was the owner and he constantly came up and asked if we need something. The french fries were genuinely perfect crispy on the outside and soft pillowy on the inside. The rose tteoboki was perfect flavor, and creamy as well. The chicken was so crispy and moist on the inside. He warned us that the KO-spicy is really spicy and thank god he warned us. The flavors here are so good. I loved the look of the restaurant, really enjoyed the street korean authentic feel. I really recommend everyone to come try the food here. I can't wait to come back!

I'm not sure how that happens when ordering a combo (I paid $9.31 and the combo was $9.99), but I didn't want to make a fuss since I knew it wasn't the $10.81 with tax (I thought she gave me a student discount or something) and was open to paying whatever difference. I DID chuckle though, thinking, 'they really want this $1.00 and some change,' but I charged it to economy-- and hard times. However, I was told the fries would be an additional $2.59, which is full price. Huh? I attempted to gain understanding, which I'm sure the pressure for the additional money was coming from the man cooking vs. the lady as the messenger, but didn't understand and wasn't paying full price. Fast forward to receiving food, I was told they allowed a 1/2 order of fries since I didn't purchase them. I was done. Chyle... food was terrible. Honey mustard wings were overcooked, tasteless and drowned in sauce. My "free" 1/2 order of fries were cooked too hard for the size. No one in our party was impressed and we felt the food was extremely bland (mind you we ordered a bit of everything). Upon leaving we went straight to Jersey Mike's. This used to be a place we'd frequent if in the area, but it's gone further downhill. It's sad because we love family owned restaurants--but we will not return.

Unique tasting wings. Small, but have a very god original flavor. Must try place in Denton.read more

But, after being outvoted by the family on what to have for dinner I found myself at Wingstop. Not surprisingly, I had never been there before, yet my expectations were still relatively low. We ordered a 30 piece crew pack, which allows you to chose 3 different wing flavors, so we got mango habanero, garlic parmesan and hickory smoked bbq. Also included is a large order of fries, veggies and their 3 dipping sauces, ranch, bleu cheese and honey mustard. Some heat is a must for my family so we thought mango habanero would fit the bill. According to their chart it's the 2nd hottest flavor they offer, but calling it spicy is a misnomer as it was pretty much all sweet with barely any heat. The hickory smoked bbq was actually hotter. That's not to say that they didn't taste great, I just think the descriptions aren't particularly accurate. I skipped the dipping sauces because I'm not a fan of any of the ones they provided (I know that's blasphemy, especially when it comes to ranch!) plus everything was plenty flavorful already. The rest of the family loved them though. Overall, the meal was filling and satisfying and a decent bargain at around $40 for 4 people. I'm actually happy to report that I was wrong in my premature judgement of Wingstop. Now I would not hesitate to go back.

Because the weather was cooperative, the windows of the enclosed patio and the bar were opened. Diners were able to sit at the bar in the patio area. The bar was initially staffed by a single bartender. Not only did she introduce herself, she also asked for my name. As I needed a menu, she asked the host for a stack for myself and other diners. A second employee, not as friendly, arrived sometime later to assist setting up the bar. There were some minor inconveniences arriving this early. Because I was the first to require a refill, the bartender had to get a coffee pot from the kitchen. Afterwards, she kept the pot at the bar. I decided on the Breakfast Egg Rolls. Not sure how something tagged "new" can be a house specialty. The breakfast jam lacked flavor. The egg rolls were saved due to the taste of the fried wontons. Of the two sauces, the maple syrup was better than the spicy hollandaise. The hollandaise lacked both heat and spiciness. When I was served coffee, I was not provided either cream nor sweeteners. As I did not notice any nearby, rather than wait to have the her return to the kitchen, I decided to give it a sip. Surprisingly, the coffee tasted great. It was neither acidic nor had a bitter aftertaste.
