Had a horrible recent experience, and we will not return. I ordered a #4 (5 wing combo) and was later told I wasn't charged for the fries. I'm not sure how that happens when ordering a combo (I paid $9.31 and the combo was $9.99), but I didn't want to make a fuss since I knew it wasn't the $10.81 with tax (I thought she gave me a student discount or something) and was open to paying whatever difference. I DID chuckle though, thinking, 'they really want this $1.00 and some change,' but I charged it to economy-- and hard times. However, I was told the fries would be an additional $2.59, which is full price. Huh? I attempted to gain understanding, which I'm sure the pressure for the additional money was coming from the man cooking vs. the lady as the messenger, but didn't understand and wasn't paying full price. Fast forward to receiving food, I was told they allowed a 1/2 order of fries since I didn't purchase them. I was done. Chyle... food was terrible. Honey mustard wings were overcooked, tasteless and drowned in sauce. My "free" 1/2 order of fries were cooked too hard for the size. No one in our party was impressed and we felt the food was extremely bland (mind you we ordered a bit of everything). Upon leaving we went straight to Jersey Mike's. This used to be a place we'd frequent if in the area, but it's gone further downhill. It's sad because we love family owned restaurants--but we will not return. read more

Amazing service and wings were super hot and fresh. At first bite I loved all the flavors but after a while the more strong flavors like garlic Parmesan and lemon pepper got too strong and so all I could stomach were the barbecue flavored ones. They have one beer and one cider on tap and I loved my apple orchard cider! They come in frosted mugs. I would 10/10 recommend though! Thank you all for a wonderful time! read more

Had a taste for wings so I tried this place. The flavor and cooking of the wings were really good. There's a nice assortment of different flavors to choose from. I tried the Cajun flavor and although it wasn't as spicy, it was good. The employee was nice and knowledgeable of the menu. I would go back! read more

It's a bit of a drive from me but it's worth it! I really like the way they make their boneless wings with the flaky crust! We got Teryaki, Pit Hot, and Lemon Pepper. They're Lemon Pepper are bomb! They compete with wing stop and that's hard to find. I actually like this place better because they know how to really season the lemon pepper so you can taste all the flavor! Fries are also tasty! I'd make the ranch a bit creamy and less thick and you'd win. read more

Stopped in for lunch today, needed some wings and I just can't stand the big names' wings because they overbook them. Met what appeared to be the owner at the counter to order. He let us take our time and answered all our questions. I got the number 1, 10 wings, fries and a drink. They have about 20 different flavors and I split the order between Pit Stop and Lemon pepper. My Wife ordered the shrimp, fries and drink. She loved the shrimp, it was tough to get her to let my try just one of them. Crisp, seasoned with our choice of flavors, and cooked perfectly. The fries were thin, crispy outside and soft inside. My wings were cooked perfectly: hot, fresh and well seasoned. The Pit Stop flavor was just a little spicy but very good. Lemon Pepper was much better than the competition. The crowd was thin and those I saw seemed like regulars. Store and bathrooms were spotless. Absolutely loved this cozy gem in Denton. With all the wing chain spots it's nice to find one that's not a chain . And the fact that the flavors are delish makes it even better. We saw that the yelp rating was four stars so we decided to give it a shot. Initially the restaurant was a little difficult to find because the iPhone map app has the location wrong by about 300 feet. I called for directions and they told me it was just right around the corner. Ordering was easy enough. The board was laid out clearly and they had combinations to the left. My daughter and I both got combinations and split our orders with two different sauces. We both ordered the house sauce, I ordered teriyaki and my daughter ordered one of the spicier sauces. I got seasoned fries and my daughter got ranch seasoned fries. The food came out in a timely manner and everything tasted great. Both the man and the woman that were working in the restaurant came out to check on us individually. Customer service and follow up were great. I've worked in restaurants for over 20 years and standing at the counter looking into the kitchen gave me confidence in their operation. Everything looks clean and organized. The only knock against them would be that the restrooms had a funky smell. It could be a plumbing issue, but it does need to be addressed. We will definitely visit them again when we are in town! read more

I've been to a lot of wing places in the Dallas Fort Worth area and this place is now my number one favorite. Customer service is on point, food is amazing, boneless and traditional wings are on point and crunchy. So far, I like their sauces. The dry ones are not very flavorful. We tried the sweet chili, teriyaki, ranch, and garlic parmesan. Delivery was done by grub-hub. They suck!!!! They left the food on the doorstep. They did NOT knock or ring our doorbell. We dont know when it arrived. I know that part of what I DIDN'T LIKE about the food was grub-hub's fault. The wings did not have any crisp to them. I will update my review when we order again. We will try different sauces. Maybe next time I'll go pick them up myself. I would not recommend this place at all based off the horrible service I received. I ordered wings, tenders, and fries from Brian and when I got home to eat my food that I ordered to go I realized that my fries and wings were extremely salty. I called back to speak to a manager but Brian said there was no manager working. I asked if I could bring the food back to be remade and he said no. I asked why not and he argued because the food was made correctly and they did not add salt. In Denton and in the mood for some wings, so we decided to try out Wing Pit, since we had never been. I love just about any kind of wing, so these were fine in a pinch, but I will admit that I was a bit disappointed. The boneless wings would be more appropriately called "chicken bites" as they were about half the size that you'd get most places. The breading was good and I liked the sauce flavors. I selected Spicy Honey BBQ and Garlic Parmesan. The Jalapeno Poppers were exactly like the kind you can get at the grocery, so another let-down. They do serve beer, and have a couple TVs to watch the game, but the radio was turned up and the TV volume down. The décor looks like this place used to be a Wingstop and they replaced the aviation photos with sports. The service was good and the place was clean, but I wouldn't go for the boneless wings. If I return, I'd try the bone-in, but I'm honestly more inclined to try someplace else. read more

We got the Family Meal from here last night, I have to say the only thing I enjoyed was the poppers, rolls and the Cajun Wings. The Pit Style was too dry and for some reason there was a odd water smell. I just assumed it was the boxes sweating from the heat.
