When I arrived it appeared that the food truck was open. On the website it says New hours open 12pm-9pm. I arrived at 8pm. No one was here. I asked the workers in Eskimo Hut if it was open. They stated that they seen the owner earlier. That sometimes he has to go to Kroger to get more food. I proceeded to wait 10mins. Still no one showed up. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. First my daughter recommended this place. We had to wait a little bit to order and get our food. But the guy came to the window with a pan and said look at all this food, for 15 bucks and then gave it to another customer. I said what is this about why are you teasing me. We all laughed it was quite funny. For 15 bux I got a brisket sandwich(or nachos) loaded spud, 2 ribs, and a brisket taco. Let me just say this was no small plate. First time getting food from this place and was I happy I did. I got the Fat Man Special with ribs, brisket sandwich, potato salad and Mac and cheese. For the price of what I paid I ended up with a lot of food. The ribs were so tender that they just fell off the bone, the Mac and cheese was creamy and made really well and the potato salad was phenomenal. As of writing this review I hadn't eaten the brisket sandwich due to it all being so much food I just couldn't but I will eat it later tonight. The service was great, yes it took a minute to place my order and get it but they're only 2 people working so I was fine with that. When I got my food it was nice and hot and smelt so good I couldn't wait to get home and try it. Of course with this being a food truck the ambiance is a little different but they're only make sure you have seating while you wait. If I could give this place more stars I would. Well it is about the fact that they have really solid BBQ!! I wanted to try it all so I got the Chubby platter ($20) which is brisket stuffed potato, sliced brisket, sausage, ribs and chicken. I subbed the chicken for extra brisket. I also had to try their brisket tacos ($2 off taco plates on Tuesdays) cause it is taco Tuesday and do I really need an excuse to get tacos!?! The ribs are super tender but the meat will not all fall off as soon as you take a bite as it should be!! It's on a bone for you to eat it from!! Lol. The brisket is spot on! Juicy tender!! If you see them with a long line, it's not because they're good, it's because they don't know how to run a food truck. Look, I've had their food a few times now from their food truck at various events....their food is great. The ribs, the load up potatoes, it's all legit. VERY good. But some of these events have been fundraiser-type events were tickets were to be used instead of cash; but I know they took cash multiple times instead which shorts whatever cause/organization trying to benefit. I'll 'unfairly' assume they did not fully report all the cash transactions to the cause/organization which again benefits them and not the cause/organization.
