Sampler platter: 3 meats- ribs, sausage, brisket or tri tip I can't remember but it was GOOD!
Savannah S.

Friendly staff, GREAT food, quick take out. Consistently tastes good too. We've been a couple of times and the sampler platter can feed my husband and me and our kids a little snack. Great meats and sides!! Hard to find a place that has both that are good. I really like the ribs and all the sides are great. Their sweet tea is delicious too! The outside has a cute pig for your kids to say hi too and the inside is that fun 50s/diner theme too. One of the first BBQ places we went to in DFW and would definitely go back!!

The food was good as usual but we won't be back based on service.

We've been customers of chasing tails for a few years with out incident however today that changed. My two adult children went in for two baked potatoes & a sandwich that we ordered over the phone yet the staff seemed like they saw two ghosts. This was the strangest encounter they've experienced. I don't think certain Americans are welcomed there anymore.

Delish! I love the macaroni salad here!! I also love the Turkey! The baked potato! And the brisket! Laid back not a fancy place but well worth the visit - it is order at the counter style but the service is always great and the food it's always hot and tasty! The Turkey is moist amd tender and has a great smoked flavor it's hard to find a place why Turkey that isn't too dry and they really get it right here - also the smoked jalapeño sausage .. mmm mmm!! So tasty! .. I feel like they should have a larger place for as great as they are !! Right now they are a hidden gem in Lake Dallas.. hope they stay around because for this area they can't be beat!

Run, don't walk to Chasin' Tail. My review is just for the ribs but they are outstanding. The perfectly balanced smoke flavor is strong but not overpowering. And the rub has such great taste that you don't need sauce. They are that good. And the service is amazing. Since we were going late in the afternoon we called ahead and reserved our racks. No problem. I had to run for a flight so got them to go but it they have lots of good options for eating in with several nice casual tables.

Two meat plate:Brisket, hot Link, baked beans and coleslaw
Samantha H.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and ordered two of their two meat plates. I ordered sliced Brisket, hot links and baked beans with Cole slaw. Their plates come with a slice of toast and I will say unlike alot of places, their Bread was pretty yummy. The. Brisket was a bit dry but I just used some bbq sauce. I was pleased with the amount of hot link on the plate as it appeared to not just be one link. Their baked beans were good and the coleslaw was fresh. The Coleslaw was a bit bland but nothing some salt won't fix. It kind of reminded me of KFC coleslaw. I bet with a spicy bbq sauce the coleslaw would be a good contrast. My husband also ordered brisket but got his chopped. We both loved brisket and wanted to try it the different ways. Again bbq sauce to the rescue. The pulled pork would have been great on a Sandwich. His Mac and cheese was also pretty good as I kept stealing some bites when he wasnt looking. The potato salad was good as well. The atmosphere was like any other bbq joint and seemed family friendly and Clean. Overall we would come back and plan to next time we are in the area.

We entered on a weekday mid afternoon and was greeted with a friendly hello and any help to see the menu. There were no paper menus, just the menu up on the screens above the counter. There are few sandwiches and salads, but they all looked very good so we chose the Cuban Press and Turkey Pesto Press sandwiches. After a short wait, we got our orders each on a silver tray with nicely presented half cut sandwiches and homemade chips. The Cuban press sandwich was warm, filled with seasoned chopped pork and sliced ham melted with cheese and brown mustard on a grilled ciabatta bread. It was really good like a comfort food. The turkey pesto had two thick, sliced turkey breast, warmed with freshly made pesto spread, which bloomed with the bright green color and the smell of prime freshness, and nestled with melted cheese on a grilled ciabatta bread. The first bite really welcomed the combo of warm turkey and fresh pesto. Delicious! The homemade chips were super delicious and we ate every single piece. The sandwiches were so large that we had enough to take home for another meal. The dining room was small and cozy and had two tall tables, 2 medium tables and one couple size table in the corner. Service was super friendly and sincere. Their workers really cared about the food and making it right the first time. This really is a foodie place. They had bottled wines on the wall to select from and another small cooler with chilled wines and specialty beers. They had fresh made sides upfront and desserts, but we skipped this time. Definitely something worth getting on another visit. This place was very clean. Bathroom was well taken care of. This place is in a small strip mall and is definitely worth stopping by just right off the interstate. When we're around this area again, we'd certainly will stop by again.

My husband said the cuban sandwich literally redeemed cuban sandwiches in general because he usually doesn't enjoy them but thought this one was very good. I also thought it was great because we split it. It was warm and the flavors were on point. The customer service was over the top. The cashier offered us a nut sample and our 3 year old enjoyed those. then the other employee gave our 3 year old some fresh fruit for free as we waited for our to go food. It was so thoughtful! The sandwiches come with the freshly seasoned chips. The inside is clean and set up well. Highly recommend this place!

The Salted Cloud Cold Brew and Grapefruit Chiller are two of my favorites, and the Golden Garlic Chicken Panini was so yummy. The seasonal donuts are amazing, so definitely save room for one! The avocado toast was my least favorite. It looked beautiful, but I wanted more flavor. The Lemon Pink Hibiscus Chiller was too sweet for my taste, and the salted cookie was just okay. Overall, still five stars from me! I've found plenty that I love and will happily keep coming back for the coffee, chicken panini, and those donuts!

Seating is cute and unusual for American restaurants but still fits the whole image of the place. If I had to find one thing I would improve upon, it would be the espresso machine, not because they need a better one but because they don't have it, they use a different type of coffee than the rest of the shops around, nothing wrong with it, their latte is still great but i like no sugar drinks so i usually opt in for their incredible teas. I tried multiple different sandwiches at their bistro, and all of them are so unique and great that each of them have their own place in your daily meals. Their brisket sandwich was juicy and tender, there is turkey club was so warm and melty; the chicken salad sandwich is refreshing for hot summer days; we also tried chicken panini, which was also very comforting. My favorite of all of this is their breakfast sandwich with aioli and egg, heavenly. Overall, one of the best places I have been to in Texas so far! P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/ service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

Every item we've tried has been a 5 out of 5. The ingredients are always fresh. The prices will honestly shock you. It's the most reasonably priced restaurant in our area. Not only that but the portions are massive. You won't go away hungry and most likely you'll have leftovers for another meal! The menu has a wide variety of not only pizzas but also sandwiches and pasta... They even sell pizza by the slice! When you dine in you'll find the tables clean and low music that's pleasant but doesn't drown out your conversation. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. My recommendation is to try it at lunch time. Get a slice (4-$5) depending on which topping you get and decide for yourself.

I hurried on down for a NY slice! I picked the Beni's Special with a generous amount of sausage, pepperoni, black olives, mushroom, onion, and bell pepper. The slice was HUGE; a quarter of a 16" pie, I believe and just $5. The crust was thin with a nice crunch and great chew! It had a good amount of cheese and enough tasty sauce; though I would appreciate a smidge more sauce. Beni is a heck of a nice guy and is from Atlantic City, NJ. He's been making pizza for 30 years and it shows; I loved it! Oh, Beni Jonuzi is the brother of Ron Jonuzi, the originator of Jonuzi's Pizza in Denton. Beni said his brother sold the Teasly Ln shop in Denton and reopened in Ft. Worth. The store is pretty cozy, no frills and only 6 or 8 tables I plan to be back soon to order a whole, custom pizza made from scratch! Oh, and the tiramisu looks delish! Can't wait to try it! btw, I want to give 4 1/2 stars but csn only seem to choose 4 or 5.

(Around 11a on a weekday) I was seated immediately and given the seasonal tea menu as well as the regular to look at. There are sooo many tea options! I ended up getting a tea tray with just a mini pot of tea (I usually don't drink more than 1-2 cups and the mini pot is 3). My seasonal tea came out right away. My tiered tray came out a little later. The tea sandwiches were cucumber and dill (a classic, my fave!), chicken salad on a homemade roll (the bread was super fresh), a Gouda one (which was okay but not my fave haha), and the Ole (that one had beets in it so not my thing). The desserts were brownie and cinnamon cake (?) with 2 scones. The service was great. The employees constantly came over to check on me.
