Another delicious meal for the books! Friday special is the catfish for $9.99. It's a huge, well-seasoned piece of fish that is fried to perfection. Had the sirloin on Monday and it hit the spot per usual. Bon appetite!

Combo plate $14, pretty meh- chicken had good flavor but was dry, steak overcooked & chewy, sides had no taste

Due to COVID19 I was going out of my way to try as many new (to me) local businesses as possible. When they showed up on UberEats as a local business, I perused their menu and ordered a combo plate to be delivered to work. It arrived at a reasonable time but I found the meal disappointing and it was a while before I was willing to give them a second try. For the reasonable price of $14 I got an extremely bland and overcooked meal. The steak was overdone and so unbelievably dry, tough and chewy I deemed it inedible and a time waste. The chicken was the one thing on the plate that actually had some flavor, it had the smell and taste of bbq chicken but was very dry and and a little tough as well. As a texture contrast the sides were not dry, but instead so bland it sucked all remaining hope from the meal. How can you have so many ingredients in the rice and it still doesn't taste like anything? Unseasoned broccoli isn't unheard of but I found the included cheese reminiscent of stadium nacho cheese and rather baffling. Since this was a few weeks into COVID19 and dine in was unavailable I knew many restaurants would be struggling with that transition and kept that in mind. I also considered that their menu is extensive, possibly too extensive to execute properly. So I didn't immediately review, but it took over a month to be willing to give them another shot. Although their prices and portions are super reasonable deals, I went with a kids meal in case this was a repeat experience, so at least I wouldn't feel cheated out of my money. Frankly, it was like I had ordered from an entirely different restaurant! The kids cheeseburger was a pretty big size and thick, I would say those with a normal lunch time appetite would still get full. So points on value and portion again. The fries aren't anything special, they appear to be of the frozen variety, but they get the job done as a passable side. The cheeseburger was nicely seasoned and quite juicy with the cheese perfectly melted! This cheeseburger dramatically improved my first poor impression of this place. Now we come to the rating. I'm big on consistency so there is a part of me that wants to round down from the average of my two meals because I want to depend on a place to deliver a solid meal every time. However, COVID19 is not an ideal time to be in business and every place is struggling so can I be understanding if my first meal was overcooked because they were probably operating at a third of the staff on an unfamiliar platform? Well yeah, I absolutely can. Do I still believe in supporting local whether we are in weird times or not? Yep, 100%. Also, I haven't experienced their service or atmosphere, which can often balance out rough edges. Their every day prices are very low for very good portions and they even have daily specials, and value is always important in a rating. That gives me a strong impression of a diner setup, which usually consists of a wide variety of items, not all made equally. With that being said I caution you to order carefully but I am very willing to try more things on their menu and to also order a burger again.

I used to come here all the time growing up. I finally have moved back to the area and thought I'd go back and see how it is after years of being away. Wow Landmark Grill still has it!! The burgers are thick and juicy, mine was perfectly cooked to medium rare. I tried a bite of the sirloin and it was amazing. The staff walked by and checked on me multiple times to see how everything was tasting. I'm happy this place is still here. I don't think you can beat being able to watch them perfect cook your food to perfection.

12 oz Sirloin with loaded baked potato. Nice steak at a great price.

I love coming here. It's nothing fancy, but they have really good food at really good prices in a nice casual enviroment. The staff is always friendy. You can watch them cook your steak through a window into the grill area. They have lots of seating, including a party room. The food is always prepared well. I usually have steak, but my son loves the salmon. They always have something on special. It's not where you are going to bring a romantic date, but if you like steak (or salmon, chicken fried steak, or any number of great dishes) this is a good place to go. I try to come once a week.

What a gem of a local eatery-guys make the trek out here to eat!! I sampled several dishes while here Fried Porkchop,T-Bone Steak,Cheeseburger, macaroni and cheese and green beans. I might add I was pleasantly surprised at a fantastic lunch for my palate on today. Pretty darn cool to be able to see the team preparing your food over an open grill! Count me in guys,I'll be back very soon for another great meal!

"12 oz. Top Sirloin" was delicious!

Best grilled chicken salad. Nice staff. The chicken is grilled over mesquite wood so the flavor is wonderful. The ranch is homemade yummy!!!

Matt our excellent server has a great sense of humor and welcoming personality. So much that we had to chat with the Manager, Bobby about him. The rib eyed steak - medium rare was scrumptious and the sides: mushrooms, baked potatoes & green beans cooked perfectly. Compliments to their chef/s! With what's happening in the world, the steaks are a little bit on the *ozempic thinner side but we still highly recommend because of the quality. Can't wait to bring our good friends from Arlington, down this way again. We drove over 30 minutes. We came to celebrate life! I started with the poblano meatballs and wow, so flavorful, perfectly seasoned, almost had that grilled taste . For drinks, I had a lemon drop martini and it did not disappoint. For my meal, I ordered the chicken fried chicken and baby... BEST I've ever had. The crust was seasoned perfectly, not too hard, and the chicken was juicy. I also tried the smothered chicken, just as good. And dessert?! Peach cobbler with a snickerdoodle cookie crust... hands down the best I've ever had. No notes. Shoutout to our waitress Heather, she was so sweet, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The manager Chris also came by a few times to check on us, which I really appreciated. 10/10 experience. I will definitely be back and telling everyone about this place!

The ambience is lovely and perfect for any occasion. Unfortunately, the last 2 times we've gone in late 2025 and recently in February 2026. We had the 2 step, side of ribs and burnt ends. Highly disappointed! The meat was over cooked, over smoked and dry. The burnt ends were dry, the ribs were no longer fall over the bone. The BBQ tastes different. This place is not the same anymore. Please go back to your original style of smoking your meat. The other concern is the manager doesn't ever come out and great customers to ask how everything thing is. The servers never tell you their name, which is odd to me. This is how you make your tips and being personal. It appears they're understaffed and need assistance and the wait is always about 45 min. This place is in a great location, and constantly has customers. Please bring back the old way of how you cooked your meat. And make some slight changes with your staff this place would've been a 5 star review for me.

The experience was consistent with the same friendly, personal, amicable service that I received it each visit. The food was on par with what I've come to expect. And at Rustico, although the menu had few choices, one could tell that the quality represented there was consistent. Instead of trying to do too many things well, the restaurant has a few really good choices. At the table of six where I was sitting, we had burgers, steak, lamb chops, and I had Seabass. Plenty of different vegetables for sides and everyone satisfied. Not particularly stuffed, which isn't a bad thing. The location didn't seem conducive to big parties and even finding seating for our group of six seemed intrusive to the flow in the restaurant. Grace, our server, did a fantastic job of greeting our table, ensuring that we were well informed about the specials, and also ensured that we didn't miss the opportunity to order some happy hour drinks and appetizers before 6 o'clock rolled around. The only things that I would change would be having accommodations to suit larger parties, and possibly offering some specials that weren't just derivatives of menu items, but were truly special items. Verdict: Go check it out... multiple times. The value of the food and service combine for a well-rounded dining experience.

We've been eating out a lot this past month and have had high and low experiences. Some very…read morepleasant ones have been from chain restaurants. We were in Coppell for an appointment and I had a craving for a blooming onion. This led us to this Outback in Lewisville, about 20 miles from our neighborhood. Well our lunch was such a delight at this location that it will be worth the drive. We immediately ordered that blooming onion which was cooked perfectly and served hot. It was a thing of beauty and a thousand times better than onion rings. Also Outback has some great lunch specials which we've had before. There is a 3 course special that starts at $14.99 but you really get 4 items because the entree comes with a side. Try and find that amount of food at those prices anywhere. And we easily have leftovers which we love and will be having for breakfast today. My husband and I had exactly the same order - blooming onion burger with a side of baked potato soup with a salad course of blue cheese pecan salad for an up charge (worth every penny) and a dessert of cheesecake. OMG everything was hot and delicious! All items were plated with great care. You might think I'm silly in pointing that out but plating shows somebody (kitchen, management) is paying attention to details and that this restaurant cares about the little (really not so little) things and customer experience. The large serving of the fantastic blue cheese pecan chopped salad was plated in a clear glass bowl with perfectly distributed blue cheese crumbles and salad placed carefully as to not look sloppy. And our server, Bianca, was a superstar! She answered every question with authority and patience. She was a treasure offering suggestions. You know the secret to eating out without breaking the bank is "how to work the menu". I am delighted that there are social media influencers who post exactly these strategies - I was just ahead of my time. Speaking of value, you can get a take home dish for about $10! If I hadn't had so many leftovers I definitely would do this. What a nice surprise. As usual the restaurant is comfortable and they probably have the largest booths anywhere. I know it's a funny thing to mention but we were just at a good burger place, Dairyette, where we were stuffed into a booth which diminished our experience. Bravo to this Outback location and we will definitely be making the drive.

I noted that his manager brought food to another table and said that the waiter was busy. I also noticed that a party that came in after we did was served way before we were. When the food finally came, the first thing we noticed was when we bit into the burger, was they were undercooked. Our waiter didn't come back, so I had to motion for the manager to come by and alerted him. He immediately comped our meal, and sent for new burgers. Great manager!! Not to be complainer, we didn't mention that the burgers were tasteless. The waiter never came back to the table, as we wanted dessert (we would have paid) and to tip even though our meal was free. When I finally was able to motioned for him to come over, he just said that the meal was free and we could go. He never removed dishes, never asked if we wanted anything else... just stated that we could go. What could improve: Well, better waiters and burgers that are cooked AND seasoned.
