Ultimate BLT and small tomato basil soup. Sandwich comes with chips.
    Amy W.

We passed this place a few months ago and, as is my habit when I see a restaurant I have not noticed before, I looked it up on Yelp. WOW. Five stars. It went straight into my bookmarks. We were headed in that direction for an errand, so today was the day. We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday and the place was empty, except for two nice gals working the counter. I had already spotted the BLT on the menu and since it is nearly tomato season, the craving had stuck. With a name like "Ultimate BLT," how could we resist? Hubby added a cup of the tomato bisque, which turned out to be a pretty large portion. The sandwich comes with house-made chips. I kind of wish I had splurged on the carrot lemonade, which looked and sounded amazing, but I didn't. Next time. One of the gals let me sample the tarragon chicken salad. It was good but not quite tarragon-y enough for me. The BLT, however, was very, very good. It had a little spicy kick from something; maybe the aioli??...and the bacon was that perfect combo of thick, crispy, and chewy. The sandwich was big enough for the two of us to split, and I left happy. Bonus points for the soundtrack in this place. If you are a former 1980s punk rocker, you will appreciate the Joy Division and The Cure playing in the background. My soul did a little MOSH pit dance.

I'm all about unique eating places. Unique absolutely describes May's Eats. You order at the counter, best get to go as not much seating, but the food on display makes choosing difficult. Everything looked fresh and appetizing. I went with a Cuban and signature tea. Sandwich was flavorful and filling. Chips meh. Order a side instead. Signature tea was delicious. Definitely got to go back.

May's is so good, for so many things; catering, dine in and takeaway. I wish it was closer to where I live, but happy it is not too far. There are some tables so you can eat at the restaurant, but takeaway is a great option. They also do an amazing job catering. I recently went to an event that they catered and everything was delicious. Charcuterie can be hit or miss for me, I don't like chewy processed meats, but everything on theirs was delicious. They had these little bites, that must have been onion, that were so good! Most recently I dined in. They have a nice wine selection. I did not get wine though. I got their 24K Lemonade, which was very good. It also seemed very healthy. I had the chicken salad and my husband had the egg salad. Both were some of the best I have ever had. I may have to go get some for an event I am hosting this week. They open at 11 am. Closed on Sunday. Parking was easy.

Came here on the recommendation from my Aunt. Easy to order online and pick up. Very pleased with the muffeleta. My husband said the meat to bread ratio was perfect. I enjoyed the BLT. Had the chicken salad for lunch the next day along with the hummus. Good was fresh and flavorful. Can't wait to try more things next time. Love that is less than 4 miles from my house.

Chicken capri, egg salad, potato salad

Fresh and delicious. Upscale deli-style food at decent prices. Service was great, but it seems like most people take it to go. Can't wait to come back! Everything on the menu looks so good. My chicken capri had so much flavor from the pesto and sun dried tomatoes. Came out hot off the press. Potato salad was sooo good, big chunks of potato (what I prefer). Egg salad was creamy, almost too much, but I still enjoyed it as a dip for the potato chips that came with my sandwich.

If you are looking for a restaurant that the menu is full of flavor and creativity, this is the place. I enjoyed the Peppadill egg salad on croissant and the homemade chips. Wow!!! Every bite was delicious. We also enjoyed a bottle of Merlot while we talked and relaxed to the inspiration music.

The moment I came in I was greeted with a genuine and friendly smile welcoming me in. I have always passed Mays heading home and was always curious. So I decided heck why not? I looked at the menu quite nervous on what to get so I had to ask the friendly staff member helping me what her favorite was. She had mentioned the BLT so I asked her for that and boy was I not disappointed. The place is very clean and you get the best vibe like as if you're at your best pals place just hanging out. The staff is friendly and funny and I left feeling happy. The BLT was delicious and that hint of sauce was perfect! I'm not a fan of bacon but this was pretty spot on. I will definitely try others another time. I would recommend

We started at the bar as our reserved table wasn't ready yet. My husband already knew what beer he wanted but I was on the fence. I decided to try one of the frozen cocktails, but one was a little too sour and the other was a bit too sweet. The bartender suggested mixing the two together into what they called a "Fraddy," and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful, which is something that seems harder and harder to find these days. They have TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a great place to catch a game, and we especially enjoyed watching the World Cup there. The outdoor patio is spacious and inviting, and I also appreciated that they accept reservations. Bella was an outstanding server who made excellent recommendations for our meal. The pizza was very tasty, although it was slightly undercooked for our preference. We also ordered a small Caesar salad, which was good but a little smaller than expected, so we will definitely order the large next time. Overall, we had a great experience and will absolutely be back!

Ambiance was a little quirky and nice, but the fly trap on the wall next to us and the flies landing on our drinks were a minus. Food overall did not live up to expectations based on the ratings and pictures posted. My chili soup starter was way too salty, but I tried my wife's French onion and it tasted fine. I had walter's giant stuffed chicken breast and my wife had the filet mignon beef stroganoff. We normally share our dishes so I was able to try both. The chicken was average with breading that was a little too thick and not crispy. The sauce made the plate a little on the salty side. The sautéed vegetables on the other hand, were well cooked, just right (seasoning wise) and very good. Wife's stroganoff was average, but kitchen added huge spoonfuls of sour cream on top, which looked odd and (I learned later) should have been part of the ingredients list and not as a topping. At this point, I have to point out the odd selection of plates and bowls which look perfect for serving Chinese food (I.e. they were the same as what you'd see at Chinese restaurants and Asian homes). Top this off with pretty high prices and it doesn't give me any incentives to re-visit.

We went for dinner first. Brian had the lamb tacos and I ordered the mesquite-smoked salmon with steamed broccoli and a sweet potato. It was perfect--light, smoky, and genuinely healthy without being boring. We loved the atmosphere so much that after a crazy busy workday the very next day, we headed straight back. The smoked wings are top-tier and the queso is exactly what you want at the end of a long day. What really made our visit stand out was a delightful conversation with one of the co-owners, Michael. He told us all about how they source their unique draft beers from all over--including an incredible one from Iowa that Brian absolutely loved. The vibe here is just right, and the bar staff and servers are amazing. Whether you want a great dinner or just a solid spot to unwind with a unique brew, this place is a must-visit.
