    Chicken Salad
    Michele W.

May's is so good, for so many things; catering, dine in and takeaway. I wish it was closer to where I live, but happy it is not too far. There are some tables so you can eat at the restaurant, but takeaway is a great option. They also do an amazing job catering. I recently went to an event that they catered and everything was delicious. Charcuterie can be hit or miss for me, I don't like chewy processed meats, but everything on theirs was delicious. They had these little bites, that must have been onion, that were so good! Most recently I dined in. They have a nice wine selection. I did not get wine though. I got their 24K Lemonade, which was very good. It also seemed very healthy. I had the chicken salad and my husband had the egg salad. Both were some of the best I have ever had. I may have to go get some for an event I am hosting this week. They open at 11 am. Closed on Sunday. Parking was easy.

Came here on the recommendation from my Aunt. Easy to order online and pick up. Very pleased with the muffeleta. My husband said the meat to bread ratio was perfect. I enjoyed the BLT. Had the chicken salad for lunch the next day along with the hummus. Good was fresh and flavorful. Can't wait to try more things next time. Love that is less than 4 miles from my house.

Chicken capri, egg salad, potato salad

Fresh and delicious. Upscale deli-style food at decent prices. Service was great, but it seems like most people take it to go. Can't wait to come back! Everything on the menu looks so good. My chicken capri had so much flavor from the pesto and sun dried tomatoes. Came out hot off the press. Potato salad was sooo good, big chunks of potato (what I prefer). Egg salad was creamy, almost too much, but I still enjoyed it as a dip for the potato chips that came with my sandwich.

The moment I came in I was greeted with a genuine and friendly smile welcoming me in. I have always passed Mays heading home and was always curious. So I decided heck why not? I looked at the menu quite nervous on what to get so I had to ask the friendly staff member helping me what her favorite was. She had mentioned the BLT so I asked her for that and boy was I not disappointed. The place is very clean and you get the best vibe like as if you're at your best pals place just hanging out. The staff is friendly and funny and I left feeling happy. The BLT was delicious and that hint of sauce was perfect! I'm not a fan of bacon but this was pretty spot on. I will definitely try others another time. I would recommend

If you are looking for a restaurant that the menu is full of flavor and creativity, this is the place. I enjoyed the Peppadill egg salad on croissant and the homemade chips. Wow!!! Every bite was delicious. We also enjoyed a bottle of Merlot while we talked and relaxed to the inspiration music.

The setup of the restaurant is compact and unique, with a few tables if you want to eat (or wait), a counter with a deli-style display to order at, and a wall of wine. I went in specifically looking for Greek food, so the pita pockets, olives, and shrimp were on my radar - the flavors were interesting (I've never had lemon-olives), and the sandwich portions generous (I could have shared the pita pocket), though I probably wouldn't go back for the shrimp ($5 for 3 tough shrimp was a bit steep). Though I didn't fall in love with any of the food items this time, I would absolutely try again if I was passing through.

Happy hour menu with food and beverages. Full bar-so many beers. We had the wings and Brussel sprout slaw. The wings are AMAZING-have a sweet flavor-like honey-slightly spicy. Best wings in the DFW. The slaw was such a generous serving-sliced finely-light dressing-not saucy. The dessert menu was so tempered ting. We had the brownie with rocky road ice cream-delish! Soft and warm. Really good-topped with a rolled cookie. Summary Our first time at Union Bear. Fantastic from start to finish. Friendly and attentive service, outstanding atmosphere, great food-lots of choices! Walking in, we were greeted and sat pretty much instantly, with a party of 7, which honestly, was amazing since it was so busy. The server came over immediately and was friendly, conversing with me and my family. Love the vibe from the server, so I knew it was going to be a great experience. The restaurant was VERY clean and even though there were a ton of people there, it was still very quiet and we did not struggle to have a conversation with the entire table. The bathrooms were also very clean and tidy, which is always a plus. I got a Hef to start off my meal as I am a big sucker for for a good Hef. It was VERY good, so I had two ;) We got some chips and queso and some pretzel bites for an appetizer. The chips were seasoned well, but the queso was just ok. I had the burger, my wife had the falafel burger, and the kids had pizza. Our friends had salads. All the food came out VERY quick. It was VERY good and fresh. The pizza looked and tasted amazing. I really enjoyed the burger and the fries were also very tasty. The other food also looked really good and my friends said how much they enjoyed it. We finished out the meal with some brownie and lemon blueberry cakes. Both were really good, not too sweet, although the brownie was teetering on the side of too sweet, I still enjoyed it. Overall, this place was excellent and a DEFINITELY must go if you are in the area. I will be coming back to this place for sure!

The experience was consistent with the same friendly, personal, amicable service that I received it each visit. The food was on par with what I've come to expect. And at Rustico, although the menu had few choices, one could tell that the quality represented there was consistent. Instead of trying to do too many things well, the restaurant has a few really good choices. At the table of six where I was sitting, we had burgers, steak, lamb chops, and I had Seabass. Plenty of different vegetables for sides and everyone satisfied. Not particularly stuffed, which isn't a bad thing. The location didn't seem conducive to big parties and even finding seating for our group of six seemed intrusive to the flow in the restaurant. Grace, our server, did a fantastic job of greeting our table, ensuring that we were well informed about the specials, and also ensured that we didn't miss the opportunity to order some happy hour drinks and appetizers before 6 o'clock rolled around. The only things that I would change would be having accommodations to suit larger parties, and possibly offering some specials that weren't just derivatives of menu items, but were truly special items. Verdict: Go check it out... multiple times. The value of the food and service combine for a well-rounded dining experience.

My Paloma and dirty martini were fabulous. My daughter ordered the pot roast grilled cheese, zero complaints. She absolutely loved the onion jam. The 5 grain risotto was creamy, the seasoned veggies had the perfect bite to them. The fish was perfect cooked. My mother had the BLT. That thing was STACKED with thick cut perfectly crispy bacon. My son and his girlfriend each had the hot honey chicken sandwich and the Nashville hot chicken. HUGE pieces of chicken, perfectly cooked and again, theme of the night, zero complaints. Overall, this was infinitely better than our last visit. Granted, service was never the issue but food wise, yall were working some magic in that kitchen this time around.

It's unassuming from the entrance, but it's in a historic square in Denton, so I know it's going to have charm. And charm is the right word for this restaurant. It's gorgeous! The food was super good too! I had the eggplant sandwich and I enjoyed every bite. The thing I really like about this restaurant is all the vegetarian portions along with the normal staple meat options. It's a wonderful menu. The staff was in point - very polite and friendly. Came here with my son, who lives just across the parking lot at some urban apartments, and he was giving me his resounding endorsement so off we went. So glad I did! We both ordered the Bodacious Burger, layered in American cheese, bacon, heaping mounds of crispy onion, some grilled jalapeños, pickles, but I chose no BBQ sauce. Damn these burgers are thick thick thick and you can taste the homemade freshness with every bite. No frozen patties premade here. We ordered a single of hand punched fries dusted in parsley, salt, and Pepper. But, our waitress said it was enough for two, and she was spot on! Golden crispy fries were delish! I ordered their Old Buffagoat made with Buffalo Trace while my boy had a Vanilla Porter.
