I love CHeBA Hut by far my favorite sandwich place in town. Beware their theme is all marijuana themed so all of the sandwiches and drinks take the names. The service is always spot on and they make the sandwiches as you order them. The restaurant is always clean with good music playing in the background. They also sell alcoholic drinks if you would like one with your meal. My favorite is the Brown Bomber or 5-0 but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. read more

They have plenty of seating inside and super cute shaded patio area outside. Love it!! For my meal, I got the 5-0 sandwich, with a side of their ranch and a side of their shake & house dressing. Even though I got the smallest sandwich size, it was still so delicious and so filling!! Their ranch was some of the best I've ever had!! Seriously so good and clearly made in house!! Originally I gave it 5/5 stars- superb experience and service. Inside is super unique and even though it's a chain I thought it was perfectly fitting the Denton area especially for UNT area. However, my order was messed up so when I got home so I called about it and the girl on the phone was super sweet and said it would be no issue and I could get a new sandwich free of charge the next day. I went and was greeted with a rude staff member- not sure if he was the manager but it was very awkward for me going up and saying I had gotten the 12 inch sandwich. I remember ordering the most expensive size because I wanted to have some left over. But seemed like he didn't believe me. He could've looked in the system for my credit card because I was there just the day before. I left feeling sad. I had just finished telling my husband the night before how awesome this place was and how we should come together to check it out bc he would love the vibe. They have a little bar area as well, which unfortunately we could not partake in during lunch hours. FOOD I had the G-13, which I'm sure is one of many pot themed sandwiches that I have no clue behind the meaning. But that ok because it's a turkey meat sandwich that hit on all cylinders. The best part was the bread. I'm trying to cut the carbs by eating sandwiches open faced, but not here. Ate it ALL. The bread was freshly toasted, crusty on the outside, and soft on the inside. PERFECT. the ingredients looked and tasted fresh. Absolutely great lunch and the price was consistent with the majority of sandwich shops in the area. Checked this place out with some of the fam, it's been about a week and I'm still coming down from my contact high! Haha. The Sandos are pretty tasting, funny atmosphere for a sandwich shop, similar to a Freebird's that does sandwiches. We got one of the special 4/20 Frisbees too, the garlic bread came out on it! First off, let it be known half my family is Italian and I was raised on understanding great italian food. Second...not sure the origin of this place but as an Italian, they have THE best bread! The meats and toppings are of quality. The decor is cute. They often have events going on. It can be quite loud. We love the atmosphere, but to-go might be a better option for some people. I love that they offer 4 inch subs as an option for smaller appetites. I would not recommend the nachos "not'chos".
