407 BBQ is a little far for me but a friend kept saying how good it was so I went. My friend was right, it is good! The brisket was good. As good quality as other high ranked craft BBQ around DFW. It's the other items that wowed me more. My friend also convinced me to get the meatloaf and I'm glad he did because it's delicious! I also really liked the green beans and cream corn sides as well.

The most amazing birria tacos I have ever had, came for BBQ and pleasantly surprised with this happiness in my mouth!

Quick and yummy. The winkies are a little sweet on the outside and stuffed with brisket. The flavor of the brisket lays in the rind coleslaw is fresh.

Well I give it a 5 but in the bbq snobs of the world probably a4 A friend told me about this place out in argyle off the 35 Next to a gun range Ribs were pretty good tender and not dry Green beans top of the food chain I noticed the French fries look fantastic but didn't try any S this was our 1st visit and plan on being back After all you can't get enough texas bbq

This place is order at the register and take to your table. They have an outside patio which was really nice. The inside was roomy too. My chicken salad sandwich was gross and there was no flavor to my bbq. The brisket was tender but lacked "punch"! Just didn't taste like much. The pulled pork was very dry. Just blah. Sausage was good but not the best for me. You can bring your own booze here which was very cool. Low stars bc the young girls at the cash register were very rude. They were very dismissive and acted like "go go go" when I was the only one in line at the time.

Excellent BBQ, as someone that grew up in Oklahoma and had good home made BBQ and smoked meat my whole life I appreciate a good BBQ and have a good knack for BBQ tasting. 407 BBQ is your good neighborhood bbq that should be rated higher than they are given credit too when list of top bbq in Texas ranks are up. I wouldn't say it's the best or it's number one but you will not be disappointed. Service is fast and family friendly and the place gives an authentic bbq vibe. I had the briskest, jalapeño sausage and ribs for sides - cream corn, brussel sprouts Brisket - 8/10. It was tenderly and cooked to prefection. A bit too fatty Jalapeño sausage-9/10 one of the best I've ever had and probably the best thing on the menu Ribs - 2/10. Maybe they are not known for their ribs but I love ribs so I ended up getting it, but it was over cooked and didn't taste good at all Cream corn- 7/10 Brussel sprouts -7/10 Overall 7.5/10

sides, sides, sides!!! Wow every single one of the sides we ordered were delicious! My favorite was the charro beans, had a huge kick to it but it's the best ones i've had in Texas. The beans even came with sausage pieces. I recommend the mash potatoes, soft & buttery... melts in the mouth! We ordered the brisket which was just a little dry however the outside was perfectly charred. Loved the jalapeño sausage was ve

The real McCoy 2 Meat Plate $24.00 *Wet brisket- perfectly moist and pulls apart. No knife needed. Even had a couple burnt ends so I got a real taste for their peppered rub. Outstanding. *Jalapeño cheddar sausage- this whole link is packed with spices. Full flavor without drying. This is how you sausage. *Potato salad- outstanding. A nice, creamy, and eggy yellow. *Coleslaw- sooo good. A little bitter but otherwise perfect. Absolutely worth the price for $24 and a little drive. This is real Texas BBQ my friends. The amount of food was enough to take away for a late day snack. Bonus!

My dad came here with his friend and wouldn't stop raving about it, so he took us (his kids) there when we visited! It's a little bit of a drive outside of Dallas, but so worth it. Get super crowded around dinner/lunch time, so we got there early to get an indoor seat. There is outdoor seating as well. I got the rib plate with street corn and brussels sprouts. So delicious. Ribs fell off the rack! Brussel sprouts were so good, even for my dad who usually doesn't like them haha. Food came pretty quickly even though it was busy. If you want authentic BBQ, go here!!

Some of the best St Louis style ribs I've ever had. They are perfectly cooked with no burnt parts and the dry run is excellent.

It has been a few years since I last visited this place. I was seated by a booth near the entrance,…read morewhich meant I was exposed to a chilly breeze whenever the door opened. Fortunately, it did not occur too often. The half and half in my coffee had leaked into the bottom of the nearly empty container. My waitress promptly replaced it with a container from a nearby booth. While sipping my coffee, I noticed an unusual texture on the rim. The mug had a slight chip, but I managed to overlook it. Instead of taking my food order when she served my coffee, she immediately left to attend to other tables. This unexpected delay gave me a chance to admire the muffins displayed in the case. When I spotted a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffin, I decided to order a light breakfast and went with the Chorizo Tacos. Holding the tortilla prevent the toppings from falling out was a bit of a challenge. The red salsa lacked heat, while the green salsa provided a pleasant kick. Both salsas had softened the tortillas, making them unable to hold the ingredients securely. My hash browns were my favorite style--crispy on top and moist on the inside. If I had not planned on ordering a muffin, I would have easily enjoyed more than a couple bites. For someone who enjoys the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffin was delicious. Most of the chocolate chips were placed on top, with a smaller amount mixed into the batter. If I wanted a less chocolatey experience, I could simply skip the muffin top. But why would I do that?

We all…read moresampled each other's burgers and sandwiches (chicken philly, club, and T-BAM) and swore we would come back to order what our neighbors ordered because one measley bite was not enough to properly enjoy the deliciousness. And we did, even though we live 20 minutes away and have no other reason for visiting this area. Your sandwich or burger comes with homemade fries or chips, and the fries here are my favorite in all of DFW. The T-BAM (turkey) sandwich is flawless, and is quickly becoming the family favorite. I plan to come here the next time I'm in the mood for a cheeseburger. Someone at another table ordered one; the melted cheese dripping down the patty looked amazing, and I saw the look on his face when he took his first bite. You know how once in a blue moon you find a restaurant where the chef clearly knows food so well that you would try absolutely anything on the menu just to see what they've created? This is one of those places for me. I can't wait to order some of the appetizers, too. (Giant soft pretzel with IPA cheese!) I also love the look of the inside of this place. Fun, clean, and inviting. Service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and had no problem handling my in-laws' many, many modification requests (add this, remove that, double grill the onions). Good kids menu, too. They also do brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Happy hour (half price domestics) is Monday-Friday 2-6pm. This is my #1 food recommendation of the year.

First, the overall service has consistently been lacking. The hostess at the front has never been particularly welcoming, and the service in general feels pretty disengaged. It's not necessarily outright rude - it just feels like there's no real effort, which sets the tone right away. We've noticed a big decline over the past 6-12 months. It used to be better, but lately it's just not the same. As for the food... it's simply not worth the price. We're talking $100+ tabs and leaving disappointed every time. This last visit really sealed it for us. I ordered something very simple, and my son got a basic chicken sandwich - chicken, bun, pickles, ketchup, cheese. It came out with a barely toasted bun and chicken that tasted like it had been fried in old grease. Not appetizing at all. We also ordered cheese fries, and they were undercooked and just drenched in queso - more like a bowl of cheese with fries tossed in, rather than properly melted, crispy cheese fries. This isn't a one-time experience either - we've tried several times hoping it would improve, and it just hasn't. If you're going for drinks and to watch a game, it might be okay. But for a full meal, especially at that price point, we wouldn't recommend it. Sadly, this last visit was enough for us - we won't be returning.

When I ordered the Golden Milk Latte, the cashier informed me that it did not contain espresso. She mentioned that espresso could be added for an extra charge. I asked if the espresso would affect the flavor, and she said it would be slightly noticeable. As I searched for an alternative beverage, she mentioned it a few more times. Ultimately, I decided to go with the Golden Milk Latte. My order was served at the same time as the customers ahead of me. Interestingly, my coffee was served in a mug, while theirs were in takeout cups, even though they were drinking theirs indoors. I would have preferred a takeout cup for my coffee so I could continue with my errands. The sausage roll was served with a fork, which was convenient since it was still hot from the oven. A knife would have made it easier to cut into smaller pieces. I am not sure if I was mistakenly served a regular sausage roll or if they have a different definition of spicy. The bland flavor of the sausage had me the pastry to it. The Golden Milk Latte was average at best. Most of the turmeric was on top of the coffee, and I could not taste it when I sipped the latte underneath. Since the latte was not served with a spoon, I did not expect to stir the turmeric into the latte itself. I might have had a better experience if I had opted for a regular latte and skipped the sausage roll.

We chose to sit outside on the patio since the weather was great--but unfortunately, that's where things started to go downhill. The ambient Italian music was playing so loudly that I could barely hear myself think, let alone have a conversation with the person sitting across from me. Service was... fine. Our server was polite and did her job, but nothing stood out. The host, on the other hand, seemed visibly annoyed that we asked to sit outside, as it meant he had to clean off a table for us. As for the food, it was honestly very underwhelming. Everything ranged from mediocre to bland. We ordered salads, cheese bread, a "Tour of Italy," chicken parmesan, and cheese ravioli. The cheese bread looked like something my eight-year-old could have made--but surprisingly, it was probably the best thing we had. The sauces across the dishes were extremely bland, almost like they came straight out of a can. At one point, I'm pretty sure my ravioli were burned on the bottom. For the price, the quality just didn't match up at all--it felt overpriced for what we got. I remember reading another review that said this place is rated well simply because there's nothing else like it nearby, and honestly, that felt spot on. This seems like a case of convenience over quality. If you're really craving good Italian food, I'd recommend making the short drive to Highland Village and eating elsewhere.
