    Burger Friday
    Becca S.

The best burger I have ever had came from a BBQ joint, and since they moved out to Aledo, I have been on the hunt for a replacement somewhere closer. I had seen Pasion on Instagram and had to swing by. They are open Fri thru Sun and do the smash burgers on Fridays. There wasn't a line and my burger took about 5 minutes to come out. The quality of the meat was really good. It was flavorful and I love that crispy quality you get from a smash burger. I opted out of the aioli, as I am unreasonable in my distaste for all things mayo, but was still juicy and they have hot sauces available. I am a vinegar lover so I was all about the pickles and red onion. The burger was good and the service was friendly. It doesn't take the number 1 spot on my personal best burger list, but I will definitely be back on a Saturday or Sunday to try their brisket.

Love Good BBQ?! Come see the pit masters at Passion BBQ! Located in the Hop and Sting brewery parking lot..They are here Friday, Saturday & Sundays 12- sell out! The menu varies .. Friday they have smoked chicken, quesa-birria , fajita Tacos followed by smash burgers after 5pm , Saturday & Sundays normally they have a full BBQ menu and a variety of delicious slaw , watermelon salad , and desserts, i recommend the banana pudding!! It tastes like it should be illegal! Lol it's absolutely the best banana pudding ever, honestly! I love the stuffed sausages , the Oaxaca and pepper one is life! So many options! They also have Texas Twinkies sooo juicy and filled with flavor. Honestly these pit masters have great vibes, and love what they do, you can tell in the food! They are so nice , and the salsas are also amazing . Authentic delicious prime brisket, ribs and more ... come see them!

The service, the food, the whole team is AWESOME! My #1 favorite item is the brisket smash burgers they serve on Fridays! It's no wonder it's award winning! But don't skip out on their BBQ. Melt in your mouth and flavorful. They're fusing Mexican and Tex BBQ, it's incredible. They're in the perfect spot in downtown Grapevine, walking distance from everything. I'm here almost every weekend, it's just too good

Brisket Sandwich! Mouth watering delicious! I could eat this every day!

Yum. Yum yum yum yum YUM YUM YUM…read more Okay, a few more details: Bite My Biscuit (BMB) made the trek to Lewisville to grace us with their presence at Witherspoon Distillery, and I'm glad they did! But boy, did they walk into a situation that really required 2 to 3 food trucks, and they were the only one... The line was long and the wait was longer, but I can't really fault them for that. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

We had food trucks come to the church. Peace and Alkaline was on of them. So, glad they came to Lights Church. The food was delicious and their service was great! Here's what I discovered. First of all, The Red food truck caught my attention. I was so happy they had an awning to create shade while you place your order. The food truck was small, cute and compact. Next, I noticed a simple menu. I decided to go for the loaded Fries! I'm not much of a loaded fries girl but, I wanted to help Peace and Alkaline out a little. They were $6.00 and we're filled with Nacho Cheese, Sour Cream and Bacon! The Fries were fresh and fluffy and the Sour Cream and Bacon were the perfect combination to create just the right bite! But, what about the Bacon? You asked. It was fresh. It was chopped to perfection. It was not to small and not too big. It was just the right size to taste all the flavor. Then, the lady that was taking orders was super nice! She had these cute sparking red eyeglasses. They look so cute on her. I told her the sparkly red eyeglasses reminded me of Dorothy's Ruby Red slippers from the movie, the Wizard of Oz. However, she said, " More like Mrs. Frizzle from Magic School Bus. Lol! Also, inside the food truck the staff was really nice too! In the end, you must try the little Red Food Truck and meet the lady with Red Sparkling eyeglasses. You will love her hospitality and her loaded fries! It's not a loaded question.

It happened to be Father's Day and they offered a complementary cigar of their choice for the first 50 dads There are delightful flavors like vanilla, caramel, and other sweet appetizing tastes that pleasantly linger on your tongue as you smoke. The cigars are are wrapped with care, and they smoke very well The concept is truly intriguing. It is essentially a food truck that literally rolls out the red carpet for a lounge experience. There is turf, awnings, and chairs for an outdoor smoke, or you can go inside and chill on some leather couches and chairs. The cigar chop is inside with a humidor offering many of your favorites. There are accessories like ash trays, cutters, pokers, torches, etc. the space is well decorated with cigar paraphernalia. There's also a tv and fans The staff was incredible, and the ambiance ao inviting. Even if you're not a cigar smoker, this ambiance is relaxing and inviting Some tips: Try a couple of their cigars as they have very appetizing flavors, and they all smoke well. Maybe enjoy one in their lounge, and take another to go. R&C also has catering/event options for parties and functions Cheers!!

I didn't know what to expect from a pizza food truck, but I can tell you that it was GOOD! We ordered a whole pepperoni pizza - they sell slices for $4 and a whole pizza for $20, so it seemed like the way to go. Of course, if you wanted to sample multiple toppings it is awesome that they also sell by the slice! They are strictly a food truck at this point - no brick and mortar restaurant. I'm funny about my pizza crust. I like a thin crust, but not one that is crisp like a cracker. Even it the bottom crust is good I typically leave the outer edges. This pizza had a great crust all the way through and I even ate the edges. The sauce was flavorful without being overpowering. There was a sufficient amount of pepperoni (although is there really a thing as too much pepperoni?) and cheese. Altogether a great pizza, and one that I would order even if I was in a brick and mortar restaurant! We also got a slice of the lemon ricotta cake. That was ok, but it is unlikely I would order it again. The flavor was great but overall it was pretty dry. I'm not deducting a star because I was there for the pizza and that was the star of the show! Sorry, no pics today - we already polished off the entire pie!
