It was our first time here.. And it was a quick but the service was TOP NOTCH! We were greeted with a warm welcome and samples. The food was sooo tender and the sauces were on point'! Thank you for being awesome!

Good smoke flavor and great price. Turkey was good. Brisket is not my style, dense and dry. The rib was the best of the three. Luckily one of the workers recognized the rib on the plate looked bad and gave another more fresh one as the other was dry and not much meat. I would have been disappointed. The fresh one was fantastic. Tried all 3 sauces served in a tiny thimble and all were good. The mac was ok I didn't think it exciting. The banana pudding was good but they need to crumble some wafers on the bottom. One wafer and one banana slice not enough. The peach cobbler was good but missing whip cream. All in all not bad. The were nice and served quickly.

This place by far has the best breakfast tacos in town. My family is addicted to them. My husband loves the jalapeño cheddar sausage while I am stuck on the turkey tacos. The El Gran is a delight when you are a little more on the hungry side. If you are in the grapevine area you have to try this for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Meat U Anywhere BBQ.

It's 6am you have to be at the airport in a hour and you wanna get something yummy for breakfast where are you gonna go? A BBQ restaurant of course! We came in as soon as they opened and immediately we were welcomed in and for us it was all about those breakfast tacos and sausage! We ordered El Gran Tacos that had (Egg, Brisket, Chorizo, Bacon, Potato, Beans, Cheese) all inside and let me say this was one of the best breakfast tacos I've ever had the flavor was just soo good like beyond good to the point of wow as each element of this taco shined even more so when we drizzled some of their yummy bbq sauce on it I mean it's a bbq restaurant and your putting a bottle of their delicious homemade sauce in front of my you bet I'm gonna eat that for breakfast! The brisket taco was good as well as the brisket had a yummy smoky flavor to it and it just went well with the eggs as well as that yummy bbq sauce while they did give us my go to for breakfast tacos some hot sauce it was definitely second to the bbq sauce for being my favorite! We also ordered some sausage we were gonna get the jalapeño sausage but it wasn't ready yet so we went with the German sausage and I must say it was definitely a good choice as it too was incredibly delicious smoked perfectly had a nice bite to it's super flavorful meat and then you know it added some bbq sauce to it and right then it was over soo darn good you can't go wrong! One thing I liked here was their sodas as they had a Dr. Pepper, 7Up, RC, Sunkist machine this is something you don't see very often and I must say I wish more places had these brands instead of the other two as these are some of the better choices in my opinion! Overall awesome spot to grab some bbq friendly people here a chill dinning area and some of the best breakfast tacos I've ever had hopefully one day I'll get to come back here for the BBQ because with breakfast being that good I can only imagine how yummy the rest of it is!

I was about to start the drive from Grapevine to Houston when Mr. Tummy reminded me that I needed food. Wanting something quick, I elected to search for BBQ since it would have been cooked prior. I landed on Meat U Anywhere. The owner was kind enough to give me some samples prior to ordering. I like the narcotic dealer-based approach. He gave me a little taste and I was then hooked. All of the meat that he gave me, I ended up ordering....it was fantastic, especially in such a touristy area. (Great Wolf Lodge, Gaylord, etc.) Next time I'm in the area, this will be one of my early stops instead of my last stop. Highly recommend!

Restaraunt, they have a outside lounge as well but it was too hot to sit outside

Food was amazing. We walked 10 minutes in the heat 90 degrees because Chat GPT said this place was great. We were greater by staff and the cook sliced us up samples because we walked to get here to try it. It did not disappoint it was awesome. We split the Baked potatoes with brisket. So freaking good.

This was a yelp find, I even got me daughter using yelp to help us find a great place to eat. The staff was incredible , we told them things our first time and they gave us samples and suggestions. Incredibly nice people. The food was spot on. We got the brisket, Jalapeno sausage, Mac n cheese, cream corn and potato salad. Just kept eating. A good amount of seating, wood work on the inside and it smelt great.

Well, I was trying to find something I didn't like about this spot, but could not come up with anything. The brisket, ribs, and sausage were all exactly how they should be. No complaints! Quick service with an easy to navigate line and a clean seating area led to a great meal overall. I do not usually order mac & cheese, but this was an exception, and I am so thankful for it!

Hands down some of the best bbq in DFW!! Great service awesome breakfast tacos and top notch smoked meats. A must try spot In Grapevine and worth the drive. Have to try their smoked Prime Rib Friday and Saturday not sure what to order Travis or one of the bbq pit masters will recommend. Thank me later

They are generous with the meat, and it is so flavorful!

Ask the Community - Meat U Anywhere BBQ

How long is the typical wait time on a Saturday around lunch time so 12-1 pm? Thanks

Is it suggested to get a reservation on Friday nights and call ahead?

Better go early because when they sell out they're out for the night. I don't think they give reservations anyway.

I'm flying to to DFW. How bad is traffic via uber to get there from Dfw? Can't wait for a Texas BBQ

You can Uber from DFW to the Grapevine location in 20 mins.

    Can you BYOB or wine?

Yes you can @ both locations! Cheers!

How far is this from the Grapevine mall?

    5-7mins depending on traffic

Are breakfast tacos served all day?

They've always served them all day. Since day one.

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

I ordered the turkey bacon avocado. It is a bit cheaper from the other chain sub shop in Grapevine, and I was interested to see how they matched up. First off, they added my pickles. I like pickles and it can slip past people's attention, as it is not a standard topping. The bread was soft and the sandwich was a good size. The bacon was nice and crispy, but I found the filling a little skimpy. The turkey was completely lost. The strongest flavors were provelone and bacon, but it is essentially a turkey sandwich. There just wasn't much of it. Nor the veg. Lettuce and tomato were just barely present. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't GOOD. We always get the [Jumbo] Hot dog, which is not as big as you'd expect, but it's tasty. We enjoyed eating the Jumbo Chili Cheese Dog, Char-Grilled Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, and the Char-Grilled Polish Sausage. These are all the hot dogs we typically order. We're not fans of the Italian Beef Sandwich nor the Big Beef Sandwich; they typically have a lot of gravy in them. The Char-Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich wasn't worth it. If you side the gravy and don't add peppers (an extra charge), you'd literally just get the bread and the sausage. The fries and onion rings are usually mediocre, but it's good served as a meal. It was one of those places you just kept going back to because the food was consistently great and it felt like a true Chicago institution. So when Portillo's finally came to Texas, I was thrilled. Let's start with the star of the show...the Italian Beef with hot peppers. It's incredible. Order it dipped and you will be in food heaven. And if you really want the ultimate Chicago move, make it a combo by adding the Maxwell Street sausage. That combination is absolute perfection. Messy, bold, and ridiculously good. Of course, the Chicago-style hot dogs are outstanding too. Just make sure you order it the right way and "drag it through the garden." That means the full lineup of toppings, just like they do in Chicago. It's the real deal. The sides are fantastic as well. The crinkle-cut fries are always solid, and the onion rings are super crispy and addictive. If you're trying to behave a little, the chopped salad is my wife's favorite. It's fresh, loaded with flavor, and honestly one of the best salads you'll get anywhere. And here's the surprise for people who haven't tried it...the hamburger is fantastic. Big, meaty, juicy, and full of flavor. I'll say it plainly. It's better than just about any fast-food or fast-casual burger out there. Bottom line...Portillo's isn't just another restaurant. It's a Chicago legend that delivers every single time. I'm glad Texas finally got the memo.
