Been here a few times but this is my first review. Absolutely love this place. They are definitely consistent with the quality of food. Love the new chicken tender slider combos. Can't go wrong with any of the options here

First time here and I wasn't disappointed. The 2 slider combo meal was plenty for dinner. Onion rings were delicious as a side. Price was surprisingly not bad at all - $13 for my combo meal. I'll definitely go back and try a few different sliders. Only thing I wouldn't recommend is sitting outside as it's so close to the highway it's noisy.

Food - burger sliders about 3-3.5 inches round on a soft bun. They have regular cola, fruit drinks, and some spike ones as well. Sides are Onion rings waffle fries, sweet potato fries, Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese. I had the cowboy and the popper slider. Preferred the cowboy slider. Meat patty is nothing to write home about. Just good enough. The onion rings was goood tho. They also serve some booze, milkshake. Service - was fast and friendly and its placing the order and getting your name called. Ambiance - had outdoor dining but the helpful air conditioned indoor dining as well. Uniquely fitting of a place like this. Overall a good enough tummy stuffer at a fairly reasonable value.

Classic combo with three sliders, side of onion rings and a fountain soda for $13.99

First time here and I was impressed!! I've had sliders before, but this place is next level. The employees were super nice, I loved the decor and the decent music playing. After placing our order at the counter, we received our drinks and chose our table. Not long after, our name was called, and we took our trays back to our table. I went with the classic sliders and not only were they juicy, they were seasoned properly. The onion rings were OMG‼delicious. I definitely will come here again for another pleasant meal experience, and I will try their milkshakes.

Cowboy, Smokehouse and Nashville Hot Sliders, Mac and cheese and onion rings

The food was good. The sliders were very tasty. We tried a variety of them and had no complaints. I especially wanted to call out the Nashville Hot. The seasoning on it was good, had a hint of sweet and decent heat, not overpowering. The cashier was very helpful in placing our order. We asked about local favorites and went with her suggestions. I believe the mac and cheese is made with pepper jack or some other spice source, it has a little bite. I probably wouldn't get the mac and cheese again. It was good, nice and creamy, just not my preference. The inside seating area is on the smaller side, but they had plenty of outdoor seating. Luckily we went on a cool afternoon. I wouldn't want to sit out there during a Texas summer. I would recommend this place.

Not very good. While the service was nice, the food is at best subpar. The burger meat somewhat tasted like a cafeteria burger and the most exciting part is the toppings they put on it and the Martin's buns. I think if the burgers were smash patties they'd maybe taste a bit better. It seems like a good spot for kids to eat at as the meal was plentiful and affordable.

Just some of the best sliders in the metroplex. We always stopped in at odd hours (2/3pm) to beat lunch hour crowd. Three slides is my go to and the combination varies on how I feel that day. One of my favorite and it's always included with my three combo is the Champ. Always a treat when dining here. Check it out if you are in the area.

I've been here twice now and both experience were great. Showed up around after 2pm when the lunch crowd has already died down. Today I ordered their two sliders combo (Champ and Smokehouse) with onion rings and a root beer. While sliders is their main, the onion rings really do stand out. It was battered nicely and cooked to perfection. Perfectly crisp outer layer while the onion itself was juicy and sweet. Great combo for a late lunch meal. Definitely worth trying if you haven't.

You need to take a look at the menu and be ready to order. For refills you need to go back to the counter. If busy you will be waiting for a refilled. There's large outdoor patio with fans. Inside sitting is close to the neighbors. It can also get very loud inside . The sweet potato fries could have been crisper. The flavor was good on the Thai chili brussel sprouts. The comeback chicken slider was lacking flavor. The classic sliders were good. Definitely recommend the PB&J slider. Great combination of flavors . If you like your burgers on the well done side you will need to let them know. They don't ask how you want them cooked. Most were a little pink. Next time will try one of the shakes .

First thing the menu is very confusing. There was only one person taking orders and getting food out, which caused a big back up in the order line. Inside the dining area is loud! The burgers were warm and the sweet potatoes fries were cold. The place looks clean and cool. I'm not impressed and will not be back!

Son of a Butcher - Sliders That Slap (and Sip!) Let me just say--this place is a whole moo-d. Stopped by Son of a Butcher in Grapevine and walked out full, happy, and seriously considering a second stomach. The sliders? Tiny in size, HUGE in flavor. From classic beefy goodness to bold twists like the Hot Honey Chicken or Truffle Burger--each one's a little bite of heaven. I said I'd try a couple... then "accidentally" tried the whole lineup. #NoRagrets And the sides? Not your average wingmen. . I almost proposed to the Onion RINGs--don't judge me. Let's talk drinks--these aren't your standard bar pours. Creative, smooth, and dangerously easy to sip. Pair them with sliders, and you'll be sliding into a food coma in style. Sure, it's a little on the pricey side... but like your abuela's love or a good pair of boots--it's worth every penny. This isn't fast food--it's fine food on buns, y'all. And the staff? Greeted us like we were long-lost cousins at a carne asada. Super friendly, helpful, and smiling like they were genuinely happy we were there (and we were too, trust me). If you're looking for big flavors, small burgers, and a vibe that hits all the right notes--Son of a Butcher is udderly the place to be.

Alright.. let's sit down and actually write a brutally honest review on this place. First off I am going to say that service is really good. They explain everything to details. They are very fast, very efficient and very helpful. The worker knows their food inside and out; so very professionally trained. Now let's move on to the food. The sliders are ok, pretty good. The burnt man slider alone is actually very good, that's the 2stars for. The rest are ok, not memorable at all. My problem is that $15 for 3 sliders with no sides, it's just soooo not worth it. I honestly don't see the value paying $5 for sliders ‍ Idk we went there in March of this year and now is October and so far no desire to go back yet. And we usually give restaurants couple chances before crossing it out from our list but this one was fast!

Unfortunately, I failed to notice the ice cream display case. Although he knew it was my first visit, he failed to mention the ice cream flavors inside the case. Browsing between the Rolled Ice Cream and Crepe & Liege Waffles menus, I finally chose the Nutella crepe. Not until I got home did I realize I was ordered the Kinder Bueno. Both have Nutella, so I did not notice while eating the crepe. The crepe was very soft and chewy. At first bite, I initially thought it was undercooked. Definitely not the type to be eaten on the go without utensils. In addition to the Nutella, a medium-sized banana was sliced and spread inside and out. Lastly, the store is not ideal for dine-in. With only four tables, two inside and two outside, each with several chairs. A handful of stools placed by the exterior window for additional seating.

This place is great, they're definitely a hit different that your other coffee places so the Black Sheep name isn't just that, which I appreciate! They do things a bit differently, like actually using crumbled pistachios on their lattes or even using a chocolate whipped cream.... That's legit! My sister got a triple chocolate frappe and it was solid! I got the Spanish latte (half sweet) I heard it was sweet, but I would probably do the normal way with and extra shot and be happy! Anyway, they way were nice, happy to answer questions after we told them we had never been there before. We didn't try any pastries or the waffles that looked absolutely fantastic! Everything was fresh and delicious. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because I sadly have to agree with some of the other reviews about the customer service. There were two women working while we were there. The younger girl was sweet and friendly, but the older lady was quite rude and unpleasant. Seeing as I had been excited to visit for quite some time, it was disappointing and off-putting to be met with attitude/grumpiness from staff. Ultimately, I can look past it though, as the bread is worth it.
