JudyPie is definitely one of the best pie shops I've ever visited. Let's talk about the pies. The pecan pie is an absolute standout -- rich, nutty, and perfectly set with a toasty crunch that avoids that overly sweet, gloopy syrup trap. The apple pie is equally impressive, with firm apple chunks and a tart balance that keeps the sweetness in check. The Cherry pie was not my favorite afterall. The crust of the pies are flaky, crispy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My friends ordered the Creme Brulé & Memphis Mafia and raved about it. Their peach pie is much spoken about as well. Its not a cheap place for pies. They have a quirky sign that says 'Good pies are not cheap, cheap pies are not good'. Lol!!! Pricing is around $17 for a 6-inch pie, which is perfect for sharing. They offer samples, and the staff is incredibly warm, helpful, and inviting. Beyond the food, the shop feels like a nostalgic escape with cool signs and curios. They've even got cookies, coffee, dog treats, and cozy indoor/outdoor seating. Final verdict: If you love pie, run to JudyPie. You won't be disappointed.

JudyPie is a pie shop nestled in the heart of historic downtown Grapevine. If you're visiting this great area or just strolling along Main Street, stop here if you're looking for a cozy spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. JudyPie is worth a stop. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - JudyPIe is warm, colorful, and inviting, with retro touches that make it feel like your grandmother's house. The whimsical pie-themed décor create a nostalgic, welcoming vibe. Plenty of tables in case you want to sit and enjoy a slice (or two). 1 Star. Service - The staff here are friendly and upbeat, clearly passionate about pie and happy to offer recommendations. Service is casual but attentive - expect a smile and a genuine "how's your day going?" when you walk in. 1 Star. Food - There are plenty of pies to choose from, but I went with what the staff recommended: the Memphis Mafia Pie. The pie had a flaky, buttery crust filled with layers of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate then topped with a drizzle of caramel and a sprinkle of crushed peanuts for texture. It's like an Elvis-inspired dream in pie form. Each bite is creamy, crunchy, and indulgent without being cloying. If you're a fan of bold flavors and Southern flair, this one's a must-try. The prices are reasonable if trending towards pricey. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Maybe. JudyPie is really good, but I couldn't imagine myself going out of my way to go back. This is more of a location thing for me. If you live in the area, JudyPie is a standout spot for dessert lovers. 1/2 Star.

We had a UYE across the street at Weinbergers (and yes, we still do UYEs in DFW) and a trusty Yelper recommended this pie shop to all of us. We walked over after lunch. JudyPie's is a cute shop and the pies are amazing. After looking around and talking pies with the employees I settled on a 6-inch Memphis Mafia that was banana and cholate base. I ate on that thing all Saturday afternoon. You can tell they use quality ingredients and there was love in that pie. I will make a point to stop by JudyPie when I make it to Grapevine again.

My wife and I went to JudyPie on a whim. Little did we know that it was ranked the #5 place in the US for pie! Let me tell you - I get it. Our pies were easily the best we've ever had (that is of course unless you've had my wife's & mother in laws pies - I'm not allowed to say that anything is better than theirs.......) ANYWAY - We went around lunch time and the store had a large amount of pies to choose from and as a bonus, they had like 6 to 8 of them that you could try as samples. So I of course had to try them all - and ended up going with the pecan pie and my wife had a chocolaty pie (can't remember the name). They were both excellent, and you could also have chosen to have a scoop of ice cream on top too. We don't get to go to Grapevine all that often, but I can promise that this will be a required stop every single time we go from now on. Definitely check out JudyPie.

Such a cute little bakery! Immediately after walking in the staff was so kind and welcoming. They have lots of samples and sell pies by the alive or whole. Plus they have lots of gluten free options! She mentioned they have more limited supply the closer to the holidays to make room for other inventory. But I was impressed with their variety. We loved everything we got! Would definitely recommend!

On the way to DFW from Fort Worth and wanted to stop by the small town of Grapevine to walk around their historical downtown. Found this "mom and pop" pie shop and it's #5 best in the US! All the flavors they offered were super enticing. If you're into pies, everything is fresh and the staff is super friendly. Cozy, homey and at times humorous decor with inspirational writings. Patrons can even write notes for individuals suffering from mental health issues. Had their carrot cake sitting outside, quaint and breezy. Will be bringing the apple pie home!

We came here on a Tuesday afternoon and there were lots of good choices still available. We opted for a slice of pecan pie and a 6 inch banana pudding pie. Though there's seating inside and outside, we took it to go to eat after our dinner. We have enough banana cream pie for the next evening. Between the two pies, the banana pudding pie was our favorite. The lady working the counter was very nice and helpful.

Finally made it to this cute pie shop where the pies are great and the staff are helpful and charming. I'm so glad to find out that they sell by the slice as well cause what really deters me is having to buy a whole pie where I really want just a piece. This place in this area is definitely a must after wine and dine hopping along Main Street.

I got cherry merlot and strawberry rhubarb. Both were absolutely amazing, but the cherry is definitely the best pie I've had in decades. I'm probably going to be dreaming about this pie until next fall when I come back to the Dallas/Grapevine area.

Some really yummy pies here at this lovely quaint shop on Main Street. Coconut cream, Tiramisu are my favorites. They had about 12 mini pies left on the weekend I visited. I know it's popular so be sure to get in early to get your family a full size pie or a yummy little mini pie for yourself. It shows that they are made with love! They also love dogs and had a great assortment of dog cookies!

Love this place!! So cute and warm vibe. Definitely recommend the key lime pie and the hand cherry pie ( warmed up)

Delicious, freshly baked pies along Main St? Yes! JudyPie makes 'em fresh everyday. They vary in sizes, variety of flavors for each member of the family. I opted for the Crème Brûlée pie cause I'm a sucker for any sweet custard. Definitely want to try their fruit pie on my next visit. Service was pleasant and the ambience is very homie. Perfect for an after meal treat while in the area.

    Apple Lattice Pie

Since my first review I've also had the Cherry Merlot and Apple Lattice pies from JudyPie! Maybe my 401k is doing better now than when I left the 4-star review, but the $45+tax for a 10" pie just doesn't seem as high! Divide it by 8 decent sized pieces and you're not gonna get a slice of this quality of pie in any restaurant for $6! Definitely worth a visit!

Crème Brûlée Pie, Coffee, Loaded Monkey Cupcake (gluten free) and the best cinnamon roll ever (everything was amazing!!)

Sometimes I shop here just for the produce. You can take a shortcut through the doorway into self-service coffee, nuts, candy and spices or continue to Seafood and Meats. My favorite in seafood is the Lobster in the tank and only when it's a special occasion And in the meat area, I like their pork chops, ground pork, and large hamburger patties. In the middle store I like their olive oils, with so many choices but my favorite is the Central Market Sicilian flavor. The freshness and selection always exceed expectations. Coming from New England, I'm extremely picky about seafood, and this is the only place in the area where I'll buy it. That says a lot about their quality and standards. Crowds can be intense on Saturdays and Sundays, especially around the produce and meat sections. It feels like being packed in with sardines (lol pun), but that's just a sign of how popular the store is. If you prefer a calmer shopping experience, I recommend going on weekdays or in the evenings. The staff is friendly and helpful. Once, while I was debating how a seasonal product might taste, an employee overheard me and offered to open a box so I could sample it. I was honestly surprised to learn that they'll open almost anything for you to try. I declined and bought it anyway, but that level of service really impressed me. I also love how Central Market leans into the seasons. Their themed décor changes throughout the year, adding charm and warmth from the entrance to the back of the store. One Christmas, a violinist was performing near the seafood counter. Shopping for dinner while listening to live holiday music was such a special touch and exactly the kind of experience that makes this place stand out. The only reason I'm deducting a star is for the restrooms near the wine and beer section. On the very rare occasion I've had to use them, they've been filthy and unpleasantly odorous. For a store that takes such pride in presentation and quality, the bathrooms fall short of their otherwise excellent standards. Despite that, Central Market remains one of my favorite grocery destinations; a place that truly elevates the everyday shopping experience.

Great experience, great food, and zero pressure. Just learning, cooking, and eating. Hard to beat that. Our instructor, Chef Michael, was fantastic. Knowledgeable without being preachy, confident without being arrogant, and genuinely fun to learn from. He explained the "why" behind what we were doing, not just the steps, which made the whole class more engaging and useful. We learned how to make lobster risotto that was rich, creamy, and surprisingly approachable. He also walked us through a fresh salad with a maple vinaigrette that was simple but elevated, and we finished with a perfectly cooked New York strip topped with a herb compound butter that brought everything together. The class was relaxed, interactive, and delicious from start to finish. You cook real food, learn techniques you can actually use at home, and then sit down and enjoy what you made.
