These macarons are to die for and the owners introduce new seasonal flavors throughout the year.

Upon entering the store, it's averagely welcoming with plenty of tea options, ice cream and macaroons. I like their variety, but despite the large selection of drinks, they're mostly the same type of drinks you'd find in other stores, including boba tea classics, smoothies, shakes and coffee. Their shake was watery/thin, despite asking for a thicker shake. I also ordered the strawberry milk tea. Tastes great but nothing too special. The store could benefit with hiring extra workers. There was only one girl covering the front and the making of all drinks. It wasn't rush hour- with one couple ordering after us- we were the first in line but it took about 10 minutes for us to get our 2 drinks. I wouldn't mind coming back here if a friend wants to go, but it would be a pass for me. However, I enjoyed their birthday flavored ice cream macaroon. This is an option I don't see commonly in other boba tea shops; ironically the item I liked best over the drinks.

Rating: 3.7/5 Nice…read moreservice with lots of drink options and interesting flavor combinations. Drinks do take a while to come out since there was only one worker, so expect a bit of a wait. 24 oz Black Sugar Matcha Latte with Almond Milk ($6.29) + Honey Popping Boba ($0.75): This combo wasn't really for me, but my husband loved it. If you're a fan of black sugar milk tea and want to try something different, this is a good choice. The honey popping boba was interesting, though I personally felt the drink was already sweet enough without it. My husband has more of a sweet tooth, so it was right up his alley. 24 oz Taro Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($6.29) + Tapioca ($0.75) + Coconut Jelly ($0.75): Pretty good overall, but I didn't really taste the matcha; it leaned much more toward a taro milk tea. I thought adding coconut jelly might be too many flavors, but it actually worked well. The tapioca was unsweetened with a chewy texture. We asked to switch the tapioca for coconut jelly, but both ended up being added instead.

Where they sat us at was right in the center of the televisions so we had the sports game blasting from three directions and people yelling and cheering all around us. The ladies at the table next to us asked if they could turn the volume down on the TV right about their head as she said "we came for tea, not the game!" With that said, it would have made sense to move the tea parties to the back of the restaurant away from all the noise. As for the tea, apparently they ran with everything is bigger in Texas, because I've never had finger sandwiches like these. The finger sandwiches were generously sized, the scones were superb, and the jam with clotted cream was a perfect accompaniment. The mousse was a decadent treat, and the offer of wine at the end was an added nice touch. Seriously, portions alone ensured that you didn't leave hungry. I loved that there variety of tea pots & cups, the tea variety was basic (earl, breakfast, raspberry, spearmint and I think there was one more) however the two I tried - breakfast and raspberry - were delicious. I love a good cucumber sandwich however my gripe is these cucumbers tasted like they were brined and had more of a pickle taste than what you expect from a traditional sandwich. I don't eat salmon but the other ladies said it was good and unfortunately I was only able to take a small bite of the chicken as there was something in it that didn't agree with me, but once again the other ladies loved it. This isn't the fanciest tea party, however all in all a great time was had.

At the same time, my alcohol tolerance is horrible and I just would not have been able to handle any wine or other drink with alcohol. Thus, I could not enjoy the specialties of this establishment. Instead, I got the chicken pesto sandwich. Although quite unassuming, the sandwich was incredibly delicious. The ciabatta bread offered just the right amount of toast and texture to hold everything. There was a sizeable chicken breast. Not dry but also not too flavorful by itself but that's okay. The pesto really delivered on the flavor with a savory, nutty, and slightly herbal flavor. In the future, I'd love to try a one of their many drinks - non-alcoholic and alcoholic included!

To name a few there's creme brulee, charcoal honey, ube, pandan...along with all the regular flavors. The pastries are good, they are average, which is still a good thing. Ham & cheese came out flaky. :) Presentation is beautiful. Sometimes I'll go there midday & there's not alot to choose from so it will prevent me from getting a snack. Charcuterie & wine is available but I haven't ordered any of those. A fun atmosphere, along the wall are built in seats with chairs on the opposite end of the table. Other seating includes table with benches (beware you can't move the benches to get in & out, if I'm wrong I apologize), then some a few tables with chairs by the windows, on the other side they do have benches facing each other with tables in between (great for groups!), & beautiful outdoor patio seating. They have a small upstairs with chairs & use wine barrels as tables. Clever! Customer service is okay, let me say that every person there has been extremely pleasant but out of the four times I've been there, only once I didn't have an issue. They seem to enough their jobs & working together, which is a green flag for any place, but sometimes they get distracted. One time I stood there & staff was chatting in the corner, a good amount of time passed before anyone noticed me. Another time, they just forgot my drink (it was the only thing in my order) & there were no other order left... the group was again chatting away with with each other, then during another visit they forgot my croissant. Each time they did apologize, but three out of four times aren't good odds. I probably won't frequent this location as much, but I will stop by once in awhile because their drinks are worth it.

While efficiency is appreciated, this crossed into uncomfortable territory -- minutes after ordering, the food was on our table. While speed can be a good thing, it raised red flags in this case. Additionally, we asked the waitress a few standard questions like "what is most popular," and she said, "maybe sushi or hibachi," not the most helpful, seeing the name is Hibachi Sushi, so I tried again, seeing they have Sea Bass. I asked if she would recommend Sea Bass, and she again said yes, or chicken or beef. I guess we're reading the menu together today. It was rough, but we settled on two hibachi dishes from a standard table and not surrounding the hibachi cook. The food itself confirmed our time concerns. The quick turnaround meant the dishes lacked freshness. The sea bass in particular was disappointing -- overcooked and rubbery, with no delicate texture you'd expect from a quality fish cut. It tasted more like it had been reheated than freshly prepared. Other items followed suit, feeling hastily assembled rather than thoughtfully cooked. The sauce, texture, and everything else were a miss. Overall, the experience felt more like a race than a meal. Hibachi dining usually delivers on the fresh-off-the-grill flavor. Sadly, this visit missed all of those marks. If you're looking for a date night dinning for about $70 (without drinks or tip) but also need to be in and out in 30 minutes, with feelings of disappointment this is your stop. Recommend staff training for the waiters that interface with customers but also, and more importantly, someone that works there needs to eat what the customers are being served. This food is terrible and in need of quality assurance measures.
