I was craving Argentine baked goods after getting some in Florida, Empanadas were pretty good. The chimichurri sauce- delicious. Grabbed the alfajores but they were a bit stale and dry (like drier than what I thought was normal). To add, one of them had a HAIR baked in. Coffee and matcha frappe were okay but nothing really stood out. The coffee tasted like corporate office coffee and the matcha frappes major flavor profile was the cool whip. If you catch them during a rush, good luck. Everyone's in their own world (which in most cases, I enjoy that type of atmosphere but needing to elbow around and hopefully get assistance at the register to check out the baked goods that had been ready for me for a few minutes was a damper on the experience.) It was fine for my first time coming here but there's better places. Maybe I came in at a bad time or I should come just for the drinks but it felt overrated. read more

I really wanted to like this place because I love supporting small businesses and trying new foods, but unfortunately I had a very bad experience here. The bakery itself is nice and cozy, which I appreciated. However, the service completely ruined it. The lady working there was rude, and when I ordered 3 pieces of mille-feuille and 3 small cakes, one of the pieces she gave me was broken. I politely asked her to replace it, and she acted like she did--but when I got home, I realized she never changed it. On top of that, the taste was disappointing. New Location! We love this spot, been wanting to check it out and never made it to the old location but so glad we finally did! Empanadas were good and the avocado toast was delicious, but really happy about the full bar! So we will be back to check that out. This place is wonderful. During my first visit, I unknowingly walked into a World Cup watch party as Argentina was playing their first match, and I ended up staying longer than planned. I stopped by to try their empanadas and am glad I did. Everything was super tasty, especially the spinach option and the beef and egg. I'll have to return and try their tempting pastries. They saved me one July 4th when I needed an anniversary cake! They delivered with a delicious Tres Leches cake with writing on top! This place is one of the most amazing bakeries I've ever been to. Try all their empanadas that they have here; your taste buds will swoon. My favorite was the Beef & Jalapeño and the Beef Barbecue Brisket. When checking out, ask for their Chimichurri sauce as it really makes the flavors stand out even more. They have the most cozy, comfortable sitting area and a lot of locals pop by to get their favorite pastries. The staff here are so sweet and they gave great recommendations. We happened into Argentina Bakery, primarily to grab a cup of coffee, but we're absolutely floored when we walked in at the incredible array of baked goods. The first thing you see when you walk in are some incredible cakes and right next to it is a huge display case of assorted baked goods. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. We asked for a recommendation for something savory and then something sweet. On the sweet side we tried a Factura Dulce de Leche pastry. It was delicate and absolutely perfect. I understand why they recommended it. We also had two empanadas, one was a beef brisket, and the other was chorizo. They were wonderful. The pastry on both was tender and flaky, and the filling was seasoned beautifully. Their baked goods are simply amazing. The only thing keeping this from a five star review is the coffee was just OK. Argentinian coffee is on the stronger side, which we like, but the latte that we had was simply too bitter. It was not a smooth, enjoyable coffee beverage. I know they use authentic Argentinian roasts and maybe the bitterness is intentional. For our palette it just did not resonate. Still I highly recommend a visit to try everything we mentioned above and more. read more

The new location is nice, but the service is much slower. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to make a coffee when the store is empty. I honestly preferred the old location because the staff worked better as a team. At the new location, the same employee helps you choose your bread, makes your coffee, and handles the payment. Having one person do everything seems to slow the entire process down. I hope they can improve the workflow because the experience was much smoother at the previous location. Disaster of a place, extremely unorganized and lacking of resources to make them more efficient. Only one cashier operating for such large high volume place, you are able to order food until you get to it as there is no menu visible / handy while you are in a long and very slow line. Everything I had was completely delicious. My friend and I both tried their empanadas and iced coffees. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of the service we experienced. We waited 10 minutes at the front booth to be seated, but no one approached us. Eventually, I had to go up to one of the servers and ask to be seated, and they just told us to sit anywhere we like and that someone would come to us. We waited another 15 minutes, and once again, no one approached us. We waved down another waitress, and she told us to order at the bar, which makes no sense because we were told someone would take our order at the table. Once we ordered, we hung around the coffee bar waiting for our drinks and noticed how the barista used a long spoon to stir my coffee with whole milk and, without rinsing, used the same spoon to stir my friend's coffee, which had almond milk. She's very lactose intolerant, so I was really worried she wouldn't feel sick after drinking her coffee. I suggested to my friend that they make her a new drink but she said it's fine. The area was clean and nicely decorated, so I had high hopes for it, but the service was just not there. I plan to come back another day to see if I just had bad luck or not, but I'll probably just be a takeout customer for now. read more

My 4th visit & my 1st review.The best & Stars of the show are the coffee/espresso drinks & empanadas. The atmosphere is welcoming & comfortable. Super cool wooden beams above. Service is consistently fast with a smile. Their bakery items never impressed me to where I want it again. Their Choripan, a classic and popular Argentinian sausage sandwich has so much potential to go viral if in my opinion they master how to make a fresh baked crispy baguette for the Choripan, the watery chimichurri sauce as a side dip instead of pouring it all over the sandwich before serving. The chimichurri is good, but it causes their current bread to go super soggy and no one wants to eat a wet bread sandwich. What I think of Argentina, I think of steak they should introduce a bad ass steak sandwich with chimichurri and grilled onions like the photo I have included. Again, this photo is from a place in New Jersey called Sandwichitos. I hope the owner sees this and get some good energy from it and positive inspiration. Had a few hours to kill and found myself in a plaza where i stumbled upon this great find. This is a bakery offering numerous types of baked Argentinian and Mediterranean goods as well as Argentinian empanadas . The baked goods were all delicious and didn't last as long as i had planned. The empanadas barely made it to the car. They had such a light crust and were filled with brisket and bacon and cheese. I would definitely come back here. So many choices of empanadas. Their coffee was great too! My favorite empanadas were the spicy beef and regular beef. Dulce de leche was also great. As soon as you enter the place you'll get hit with their sweet sweet baked goods. Lots of options for sure. The staff were friendly and lots of parking outside. You can also buy goods to take home. This is a super cute Argentinian bakery im Irving. They have so many sweet and savory options to choose from! I love that they have regular and mini sizes of many items and have really good pricing. Would love to see something posted describing what different pastries are but the staff is friendly and helpful. Some of the items were just sweet and didnt really taste like much to me, but we loved the vanilla cream filled churro, strawberries and cream pastry and the empanadas.
