    Biscuits and gravy Taken 5/7/24

I have driven by this diner so many times, so on my day off, I decided to give them a try. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, plenty of parking, with reasonable pricing. Nothing about this meal screamed, come back to visit us. The steak was tender, moist, and prepared properly. Truly, the auto of me was small for it to be a $14 dollar steak. It was lacking seasoning of any kind, which was disappointing. The gravy had a delicious flavor, and the biscuits were soft and fluffy. I would suggest the gravy he warmed up in the microwave before being taken to the customer. It was lukewarm at best. All in all, this is a cool place for locals to socialize over a so so meal. Joe's Coffee Shop is an absolute gem! My friends and I recently had a meetup there, and it was an experience to remember. We were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that set the perfect tone for our gathering. The atmosphere at Joe's is so welcoming and inviting. It has a warm, cozy vibe that makes you want to linger all day with a cup of coffee and a good book. As soon as we walked in, the friendly staff greeted us with smiles. I ordered the cheeseburger, fries, and scrambled eggs. Everything was cooked to perfection. The burger patty was juicy and flavorful. It was some of the best diner food I've ever had. I will definitely be back next time Whenever I am in town.

I wanted to be clear that I treated the owner with kindness even when she was unfathomably rude to me. There is not a single reason that waving your hand in front of someone's face is ok. Ever.

The food and service is super good. Good down home cooking! Can't beat the price either! They have lots of booths, just like we like!

Came across this while on a road trip in Dallas. Great little mom and pop coffee shop. Food was simple, home style cooking.

Despite the crowd, the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. I ordered a savory pastry topped with sesame seeds. The pastry was wonderfully flaky, with a light, crisp exterior that gave way to soft layers inside. It had a nice crunch from the sesame seeds and paired really well with the warm Zahr latte I ordered. The latte, which includes orange blossom, cardamom, and honey, had a subtle floral sweetness and a comforting spice that made it especially enjoyable. They also offer a wide variety of signature drinks, which makes the menu fun to explore. I found a cozy spot to sit in the back of the café, which felt a bit more relaxed than the front area. It was a nice place to sit and enjoy my coffee for a while, and overall it ended up being a very pleasant experience.

This busy coffee show has quality coffee including super strong (grow hair on your chest) Turkish coffee. Oh, their latte's a pretty good too. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - Walking in, it's hard not to notice the array of golden Hershy Kiss shaped lights that highlight the area where the baristas work. The espresso machine is magnificent, and this area is stunning. But the seating isn't as inviting or comfortable, and on each visit P&B was packed with people. Like a museum, it's stunning to look at, full of people, yet can make you feel uncomfortable. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff is great. Super friendly and efficient. And by chance if you get them on a slower day, ask them about that epic espresso machine. Standard counter service here. You order, then move out of the way to the pickup area. No issues here. 1 Star. Coffee - P&B is known for their Turkish coffee. I've only ordered it once (to take photos), because honestly the coffee is super strong. It is served the traditional way, on a plate with the coffee, more coffee, and a glass of water. It's a little too strong for my tastes, but luckily P&B also can craft traditional coffee drinks iced or hot. I'm an Iced Latte guy and P&B makes an excellent one. 1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While a lot more crowded with less comfortable seating than your favorite Seattle based coffee chain, P&B is unique, in a beautiful area, is great for your Instagram feed, and is independent. I'll be back to support small businesses! 1 Star.

At the same time, my alcohol tolerance is horrible and I just would not have been able to handle any wine or other drink with alcohol. Thus, I could not enjoy the specialties of this establishment. Instead, I got the chicken pesto sandwich. Although quite unassuming, the sandwich was incredibly delicious. The ciabatta bread offered just the right amount of toast and texture to hold everything. There was a sizeable chicken breast. Not dry but also not too flavorful by itself but that's okay. The pesto really delivered on the flavor with a savory, nutty, and slightly herbal flavor. In the future, I'd love to try a one of their many drinks - non-alcoholic and alcoholic included!

This is a super cute and casual cafe with a small but satisfying menu of coffee, tea, sandwiches, charcuterie, and wine. Lots of folks in here are studying and working during the day, but there are plenty of small groups and duos as well. My latest order was 1.) An iced pistachio latte, which I was nervous to order thinking it might be too sweet or too nutty, but the flavor was perfectly subtle and toasty. So good! 2.) Brie and prosciutto, which came with a handful of toasted nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, and a fig jam. The meat and cheese didn't taste stale or like they'd sat in a fridge forever. It was all really good! I was mildly disappointed that they don't have a gluten free bread or cracker option, but I can't complain too much as long as there's good cheese!
