My cousin and I checked out this coffee shop on a Saturday morning. It was surprisingly empty which we enjoyed. The man who took our order was kind. We both enjoyed our drinks, a lot! We also had an almond croissant which was delicious! The spot is known for the ambiance and the ambiance did not disappoint in person. It is so cute! I really enjoyed it and definitely will be back!

I've heard great things about this coffee shop. The vibes were immaculate. It's right off the Katy Trail in the virgin Hotel. The coffee shop was a lot smaller than I expected, really more of a counter and some booths. The shop has some overflow seating in the hotel lobby and flows directly to the hotel. I tried an iced chai latte and it hit the spot!

Cute coffee shop! Very instagram friendly! Customer service was okay but coffee and food were on point! Highly recommend trying the raspberry filled croissant!

DRINKS Spiced Brown Sugar Latte (iced) - Drink was alright. Nothing super special to it. There is a smidge of the spice taste but would've liked a bit more. Coffee isn't too bad though! VIBES Really nice place with ambient, dimmer lighting. Seems like a great place to get work done. Plenty of seating from tables to a long table with chairs to little nook areas. It was crowded when I came around 1:30 PM on Monday. SERVICE Service was great! Everyone was really nice and drinks came out fast! PARKING You can either park along the side (parallel parking) or pay for parking. A bit hard to navigate.

Discovered this coffee shop through the Dallas Coffee Shop passport, and it's a nice coffee shop located inside of the Virgin Hotel in downtown Dallas! For parking, you can park on the street for free or pay extra to pay in the hotel lot. The interior design of the place is super fun; I like how much character the place has and it's very nicely decorated. The service was nice and I got one of their summer specials, the mixed berry matcha! It was yummy and I liked the syrups that they used. The coffee shop is medium-sized and it seems like it's used by hotel guests or people who WFH to do their work or take meetings. The noise level is medium to medium-loud, so it's good if you're wanting to meet up with people or don't mind some noise. I don't know if I'd recommend studying there if you're trying to buckle down and focus; the tables are kind of small and the chairs were cute but not the most comfortable to sit in. But I think it's nice if you're looking for a place in downtown to do light work or socialize.

WHAT I ORDERED: Summer Berry Matcha Latte, Southern Wedding Cake Latte PARKING: Limited street parking INSIDE: This coffee shop is inside the Virgin Hotel with plenty of seating inside and on the patio. The barista was friendly and the drinks came out relatively quick. Not only do they have coffee drinks but food items are available to order. THE FOODS/DRINKS: Both drinks were delicious and part of the May 2024 specials! The raspberry in the matcha was flavorful and not overpowering, complimenting well with the matcha. The almond in the wedding cake latte was present and gave it a nice nutty taste. Both drinks had their respective flavors balancing well among the drink and I look forward to seeing what future specials they have.

Cute hidden must go coffee shop!! I came here last Sunday for a latte and it did not disappoint. I got the teddy bear ice latte with oatmilk and cinnamon cold foam ($6) and my friend got the ice chai w soy milk($7). Both were great- they don't charge for milk alternatives which is really nice and they have so much indoor seating for working/studying or catching up with someone. Our barista was really friendly and made our drinks quickly. We loved how it wasn't too quiet, but also not super loud. It's located inside the Virgin hotel so street parking can be a little tight, but worth the visit for affordable good coffee!!

This place is a fun eclectic design and I would expect nothing less as it's a Virgin Hotel property. It has limited pastry options, could use a few more. Coffee was excellent and the vibe well it's relaxing and charged at the same time. Good place to read, chat or even just relax with a good cup of Joe or tea.

Perfect place for WFH or if you're looking for a cute place to meet up with a friend/treat yourself! I came to Funny Library on a whim to take a few meetings and get some breakfast. Although there was music playing in the background, it did not bother me much and I was easily able to work! The service was excellent and the barista did a great job of offering me some recommendations. I ordered the Breakfast Tacos, which were filling and came with a delicious green salsa! I would definitely order it again. The basic black coffee that I drank was also great - no complaints! The inside of the coffee shop is super trendy and there are a variety of seating options. Parking is relatively easy as there is a lot right next to the hotel that the coffee shop is in. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Funny Library if you're in the area!

Okay, my first few experiences with FL were okay, but I just thought the coffee's ok and the food is little to none. However I think that was just the slow opening after COVID. Now, let me tell you, the coffee is still enjoyable--but I wouldn't put it up there with the best. However, the pastries are amazing! They have a red croissant with all the raspberry yum. Today, I tried their breakfast tacos. While the price is fitting of a Dallas brunch spot, rather than a coffee shop, you're getting a full on entree with chef quality flavors. The tacos were soooo good.

It is connected and is inside of the Virgin hotel. Pastries are very good and coffee is pretty good. Ambiance is probably its strongest suit, it is very beautiful inside with lots of instagram moments. The bathroom is kind of hard to find, the nearest one is going to be inside the restaurant. It is called WC (for water closet) just like in Europe. Very nice bathrooms with privacy and towels if you need to poop.

This cafe was BEAUTIFUL!!! I saw this on Tik Tok and knew I had to stop by! It's located inside the Virgin hotel. It's so cozy and quaint I lived it! I would highly recommend

Virgin Hotels and Richard Branson? Say no more, I sought this out on a chilly winter day while walking through Downtown Dallas. The name, sign, and of course Richard Branson business drew me in right away. For those not familiar with Sir Richard, he's quoted as saying "Train your employees so well they can leave, treat them so well that they don't want to." The ambiance of the Virgin Hotel and interior eateries is open, welcoming, soothing, and filled with everything you'd want. The staff is top notch. It felt like I got black tie bottle service when one of the cooks pointed me toward the bathroom. Haley, the barista, had the best suggestion of a "Matcha" Chai Latte when I was thinking of a simple, regular one. Got it with almond milk and it was one of the best I've ever had. There is a variety of plentiful seating, outlets, and amazing hotel guests from all over. Next time I'll strike up a conversation with a stranger. Lastly, the music in the background was some of the best I've heard, putting joyful thoughts in my head and a smile on my face during my entire drink.

I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. I also grabbed a slice of the lorraine quiche, which was incredibly savory with a crust that was so buttery and flaky it practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. I paired it with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. They have a small outdoor seating section that is perfect for catching some fresh air while you eat. The whole experience felt so authentic and high-quality. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

On the weekends, the line will move fast so, don't be afraid to wait.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.
