Luckily I wasn't disappointed, they came out on a traditional taco stand so all the fillings didn't fall out. The eggs were well cooked, the bacon was the right level of crunchy and the salsa added a nice punch of spice. My wifes breakfast was good (a couple of eggs, some bacon and hash browns) tho we would have preferred the potatoes to be a little more crispy. Came on a Friday and we were seated immediately. Ambiance was very homey and relaxed. Now for the food! Irving breakfast 7/10: plenty of chicken sausage, toast was good and nice flavor. Eggs were cooked a little too hard, and if you can see by the photo, they just cut the jalapeño on top. At first they just served an entire jalapeño - uncut. Which was odd. The Alamo 5/10: this was just okay for me. The cheese was odd as you can see from the picture. I had to remove it because it was just too processed and not melty - it was like plastic. This restaurant has really good breakfast food in general. Everything has a good texture, flavor and temperature. Their lattes are also delightful. We were also led to our table quickly and our server was kind, friendly and attentive. The restaurant atmosphere itself is a bit noisy, but I've found that that's pretty normal in today's day. Went to jam + toast on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. It was fairly busy but we were seated quickly. The restaurant it self was really clean and mid in size. Our waitress was very nice and gave us plenty of time to look over our menus since it was our first time being there. Holy wow!! Jam + Toast is one of my FAVORITE breakfast spots near Dallas. This place is FIRE!!! I got the egg white omelette with a side of toast and fruit. It filled me up until I ate dinner that evening. Everything was cooked so well, I appreciated how they served my toast with their homemade jams (tried several different flavors!), and the staff was very kind and on top of things - so A+++++ service all around. The ambience was a little loud since it's one big room with tables/ chairs and booths. But if it's at an off time of the day I can see it being less noisy and more inviting than when it's at peak rush times. What a great find! Convenient to the airport, extensive menu, and excellent fast service. But Yelp is about food quality and ours was great. The Migas with chorizo was wonderful, eggs perfect, hash brown crisp, and chock full of onions and jalapeno peppers and chorizo. Many breakfast places will slap together a dish and send it on its way only to let the customer second guess their order. Thankfully Jam + Toast does the complete opposite and has great presence. On a day full of plans and trying to navigate the suffocation and congestion known as DFW traffic we made our way here. The hostesses greeted everyone and treated all the guess well while giving realistic expectations for seating times. Our waiter was by far excellent and stole the show at everyone turn. We got our hot sauces, everyone got their dishes exactly they wanted and the entire experience left a smile on our faces. This place can be a bit on the louder side so if you have anyone sensitive to noises you may want to reconsider. Otherwise, it's really the general temperament as anywhere else in the Dallas and surrounding areas. The place is super clean and well appointed. I've been wanting to try this place for a couple of yrs so my daughter, grandson & I went Saturday morning. She ordered a skillet i believe & he had chicken nuggets. I got a patty melt & added mushrooms. Mine came about 5 minutes after there's and I was starving so I forgot to take a pic of mine. I ate 1/2 of mine. It was the driest patty melt I've ever had. The fries were good & so was the sweet tea. My daughter said hers was really good she really liked the biscuit & so did my grandson. He didn't care for his nuggets (strips) but loved his fries) . Just a simple place nothing to rave about. Skillet was just okay, I didn't like that the chicken sausage was sweet, and it's so much hash brown it over took from the other flavors. I came with a friend for brunch on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago. It was pretty busy which was okay but it was a bit loud. I ordered the berry crepe which i was a little disappointed in because there was nothing inside the crepe, and just a few mixed berries on top. The crepe itself (three of them actually) were very large (and thick) and i was not able to finish them. The portions seemed large but i feel like crepes dont keep that well. I was able to take it home but it wasnt very good left over either. I was hoping for a thinner, berry filled crepe but i got a berry topped thick crepe so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe you will like it ~ I'd probably skip the crepes next time read more

Ordered chicken fried steak plate and it was seasoned great. I would rate it an 8.5/10. The hashbrowns a 3/10 because they were barely cooked with no color on them. Pancakes were 6/10. My order, "For Dad" had 2 eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The eggs were cooked to my request, as was the crispy bacon. Pancakes were light and flavorful. The wife had the American Classic with eggs, bacon, biscuits, and hash browns. Her eggs were cooked to order, the bacon was crispy, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The hash browns appeared to come from a bag. I especially liked the "signature" hot sauce made by the company, which was smoky and had a nice kick. Much better than the usual hot sauce. We did not try the house jam because it has to be purchased so we just used honey for the biscuits. Overall, our experience was positive and I would return there again. read more
