They apologized for the mix up in the display and offered to swap it but I settled for the saffron milk cake which tasted good .. Right next door from where we had our lunch, we decided to grab some dessert and coffee here. I've been to two other locations (Plano & Frisco) this one is somewhat smaller than the other two but serve the same good Haraz latte and delectable pastries and cakes. I always want to try them all in one sitting but of course that is not possible. lol. Helpful young man on the counter, I always have to ask what's in the Haraz Latte since I always forget. They curated special spices in the coffee for extra aroma and flavor. It's really nice to sip on while having a piece of cake. If you haven't tried this Yemeni cafe, it a definite must. read more

Decided to check out this place after seeing it on social media. Haraz - Adeni Chai Worth Coming Back For! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by Haraz for a quick to-go Adeni chai, and I was immediately struck by how beautiful and cozy the place felt. The vibe was so warm and inviting I honestly wish I could've stayed to enjoy it there, but I had another appointment and had to grab it on the run.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I took one sip on the way and... wow it was perfectly warm, rich, and delicious. Went to this place yesterday, and wow it was packed. Took a bit to find a table, and the one we got was a bit dirty, but we made it work. I ordered the Yemeni Sana'ani coffee, which was really heavy on the cardamom. So heads up, if you're not into cardamom, you might want to skip this. I didn't mind it but wouldn't order it next time. Next, I got the saffron latte and this was my favorite. It just had the right balance of spices and not too overpowering flavors. Then came the Haraz cold latte which was a letdown. It wasn't blended right and just didn't taste good. On the dessert side, the pistachio milk cake was really good--fresh, soft and looked amazing. I also tried the Nutella circle croissant. It's perfect if you're a Nutella fan, but there's an extra charge for it. I didn't see the regular kind or would've ordered that. The girl who took our order was super nice, and though there was a mix-up with the iced latte (they gave us hot), they fixed it. The place is quite urban with lots of lights. Got a matcha & safron latte. The drinks were good but VERY expensive. I still say George Coffee is of better value. Matcha was good but not $8 good. Staff was very friendly and pastries looked beautiful but after over $20 for 2 drinks I changed my mind and didn't get a pastry. The atmosphere and space were beautiful, and I LOVED how diverse the clientele was, but because of how expensive it was I probably won't be back. Because of the price I wanted to give 3 stars, but due to the wonderful staff, I didn't want to penalize their hospitality for ownerships pricing. read more

10/25/24 I visited Haraz for the 2nd time. The coffee house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The staff is friendly and eagerly explain some of the different drinks. A had 2 different drinks while I was there and a hazelnut croissant. The Harazi Mufawar has coffee, cardamom, and cream. Delicious. The Maleki has cinnamon. Again very delicious m. On Sunday I went back with my daughter. I had the Saffron Adeni with an almond croissant. Very flavorful. Haraz is my go-to coffee shop when I visit Irving. I absolutely love Haraz Coffee House--it's a must-visit every time I'm in Irving. Even though I live an hour away, I always make the trip because the quality, flavors, and vibe are just that good. The pistachio iced coffee is hands-down one of my favorite drinks, and the pistachio milk cake is incredible--perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and totally addictive. Since I don't live nearby, I usually stock up to take some treats home. On my most recent visit a few days ago, I purchased almost $80 worth of desserts, and my friend kindly added 3 Dubai chocolate bars as a gift at checkout. The staff brought our coffees and "for here" pastries along with two to-go bags. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized that one-third of the pistachio cakes I ordered were missing, the Dubai chocolate bars weren't included at all, and there was a random coconut cake in place of the gold-foil cream-filled croissant I had ordered. I was super disappointed, especially given how much I spent and the distance I drove. I even reached out through the contact form on their website, but unfortunately, I never heard back. I still love this place and want to keep supporting them, but this was a really frustrating and expensive mistake. I hope it was just a one-off and that they can be more mindful with large takeout orders moving forward. read more

I got the Haraz latte which had 2 shots of espresso and we also got the Harazi Mufawar, which is traditional coffee. Was in between the pistachio cake but she recommended the bee bites. Haraz latte is perfect for the weather. It is warm, rich, and heavy on the spices which was very comforting. The cinnamon swirl was warm, flaky, and perfectly spiced -- not overly sweet, just right. The Turkish coffee was rich and bold, beautifully presented, and felt authentic down to the last sip. The iced Adeni was smooth and subtly spiced, super refreshing for a Texas summer day. And the Haraz Latte? Easily one of the best specialty lattes I've ever had -- creamy, aromatic, and balanced with that signature Yemeni spice twist. I enjoyed this coffee shop. It's in a spot that has a nice parking lot (which can be hard to find so I greatly appreciate it). I decide to purchase their Haraz coffee and WE do not like it. She agreed that it had too much cardamon, I will definitely try another coffee next time I visit. This place is incredibly overhyped. It looks beautiful, and the staff was polite, but the food and coffee were honestly nothing special. My pistachio iced latte was beautiful- but the taste was lackluster. They also only offer one size for most drinks which are about $6+ each. We got a brownie with a kit kat on the top- it was legit just a chocolate brownie with the kit kat on top. Nothing special inside. And a chocolate croissant... SO dry. We spent around $35 on all this plus a hot latte. With this coffee shop being right across the street from us I was realllllly hoping for more. But we just did not care for it. However, I will suggest Sayfani down the road (literally right over the border in Coppell). Their drinks are leaps and bounds better and we continue to go back. read more

I was beyond excited when I saw this place had opened. The pastries in the case looked like the viral "supreme croissants" that have lines out the door in NYC. In hindsight I should have majorly tempered my expectations. When we got there on a Tuesday late morning, the pastries just didn't look like they were made that day - I have lived in SF long enough and visited a french pastry place at least 1x per week for the last 20 years - Trust me, you can tell when the pastries aren't fresh that day - they are a little less shiny and the fillings look hardened. I get it - this place is new new, so they are working out the kinks. I asked if the pastries were from the same day. And bless that man for not lying at least. He said they get pastries delivered on Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays, so if you want to try this place - go on those days. I guess that means my pastries were 4 days old? Maybe if/when it becomes popular, the pastries will be delivery daily. On to the actual review portion of this program...We ordered 2 drinks (a chai for me, and some special coffee for hubby) and 2 pastries - the spiral nutella supreme croissant and a spinach and cheese croissant. They kinda heated the pastries, but not really - so it was mildly warm on the outside and cold in the center. Cold Nutella is hardened Nutella (and the display case is refridgerated, so it wasn't just room temp-- it was c-o-l-d) - give me ALL cold - or ALL warm, but not a hybrid please. The spinach croissant (stuffed with a Boursin cheese type filling), was just barely heated all the way through and we enjoyed that one much more. My chai was a bit too cardamom-y for my tastes and I love cardamom. There was only one guy working when we were there - and he was really trying to provide good service. On a positive note, the bathrooms are stellar - all marble! And the place itself is very pretty on the inside, much nicer than a Starbucks. It was Memorial Day and it was sure busy! It was nice and cozy, great for a hang out place or coffee/tea talk kind of place. There are so many desserts to try and eat! We got the Dubai cake (delicious, probably more delicious if it was a little on the warmer side), pistachio milk cake (another delicious, addicting, an eat in one setting dessert to self!), and the bee bites (savory and sweet with a hint of honey and cream cheese). As you can see I went a bit crazy with the dessert tasting! Haha. As for the drinks we got the turkish coffee pot and strawberry lemonade. The drinks were great! Overall, our experience wad great! I wanted to try a new coffee shop since it was close to my doctors office. Found this on yelp. This place is spacious inside. Plenty of room and seating area. Even the parking lot is big. I guess I was not noticed when walking in and waiting at the order desk more than a couple minutes. Ordered their specialty drink w/ nutella croissant and an almond croissant. OMG the nutella is in fact delicious. I would definitely buy this again. The almond croissant had custard inside something I was not used to. Their coffee was good but VERY pricey.
