I am highly impressed with they way they are handling the corona virus situation! I have called several sweet bread places and they all seem to be operating as normal (customers can self serve themselves bread). Not this place! Outside you will see a line, people are spaced 6 feet apart! This is bc they are only allowing one person at a time in the store. The door handle has hand sanitizer taped to it, and inside the worker gets your bread for you! They are doing an awesome job at helping to prevent the spread of Corona! Not to mention, their sweet bread is one of the best around! The only sad thing was they were out of my pig cookies today! They are always soft, fresh, and yummy! Regardless, all their sweet bread is just great!

I visited this panadería due to the high reviews - but I think it's overall average in my opinion. The bread is good, and so is the selection. But these aren't gourmet pan dulces by any means. They are priced well. All in all, I'd say this is your typical, authentic, run of the mill panadería.

Hole in Wall with Fresh and Tasty Pastry.Very small in size but lot of choices which might confuse you. Grab a tray and place whatever you like and pay at the counter. I took some churros, cookie, pies and something which just costed me $4.50 and everything was good. Pros: ------- Fresh Pastries Cheap Quick Check out Free Parking They make birthday cakes on order Cons: ------- None to me You can't beat the Mex in Tex!!!!

Hubby and I were looking for a Tres Leches Birthday cake for his mom and found this online with good reviews. Took a chance on the Mom and Pop place and WOW! Its a quaint and delicious smelling shop! Forgot to take pics of the pastries or cake but we will definitely be going back. We bought the sweet bread, piña empanada, m&m cookie, flaky creme pastry, and their small Tres Leches Cake. Everything besides the piña empanada we would buy again!! Cake was absolutely beautiful with fresh fruit and just delicious! Hopefully next time I'll remember to take pics

After careful consideration, this is one of the best sweet bread places I have been able to find in the DFW area. The bread is always fresh and authentic. They also make a similar bread to my state in Mexico. I have a really hard time finding anything even close to that here in the states. They have also done a really good job managing a business during Covid19. Kudos to panadería ahualulco!

Awesome place, definitely one of our favorite to get pan dulce. They also have really good tamales on the weekends.

Nice variety and the conchas were very fresh. The location is a bit hidden but worth the hunt.

This was really, really good! Not gonna lie. Food was 10/10 even though it's a donut place. Not…read morepictured was that I also had their sausage kolaches and the apple fritter which was thin and crispy. My favorite though was this donut. I've never had a cinnamon old fashioned donut. It was perfect! Service was 10/10. The Korean ladies behind the counter were so sweet and friendly. Ambiance isn't anything special. It's a donut shop. You grab your stuff and go. I'm totally going back when I have another chance.

Not only are they still in business, but they're also better than ever. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Shin's Donuts looks like any other shopping strip donut shop. Good news is there is plenty of parking, and the interior has been updated with glass cases showcasing their baked goods. Take a peek through the door and you can see the busy kitchen. On busy weekend mornings expect a line. 1 Star. Service - This family-owned small business has been here as long as I've lived in Irving. The employees are kind, patient, and will ask you if you want your baked goods warmed up. Coffee is self-serve, but if you're not here for coffee. 1 Star. Food - Shin's Donuts is the epitome of the saying "Not all donut shops are the same". While the word Donut is in the title, my favorite item is the sausage roll. On my most recent visit, I ordered my roll wrapped in a croissant dough. The buttery roll is an upgrade from the original sausage roll. It was soft and warm (next time I'll put it in the toaster oven) and quickly disappeared once my kids discovered them. And while Shin's has plenty of donut types, I only need a glazed donut. Shin's glazed donut is soft, airy, and never dries out. It's perfect when I dunk it in black coffee. Bonus - the staff always gives me a bag of donut holes to go. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. While it took me 11 years to update my review. I've probably been back to Shin's over a dozen times. Not only have I been back, but I will also drive out of my way past a dozen other donut shops just to get to Shin's. 1 Star.

We tried several different flavors, including the Homer, Dirt, Raised Glazed, Apple Fritter, Banana Cream Pie, Buttermilk Bar, and Oh Captain, My Captain. The Homer was exactly what you'd expect--sweet, fun, and a hit with the kids. The Dirt donut was rich and packed with flavor, while the Raised Glazed was light, fresh, and perfectly executed. The Apple Fritter was one of the highlights, with a great texture and plenty of apple flavor. The Banana Cream Pie donut was also delicious and tasted just like the dessert it's named after. What I appreciated most was the wide selection of unique and creative Vegan donuts alongside classic favorites. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was fun and memorable.

The cashier was pleasant and the selections were mad plentiful. Donuts wear captain crunch, glaze, icing, bacon, toppings and have custard & fruit filling etc.... Open 24 hrs, I arrived at 2 pm on a Saturday and after being overwhelmed with the options, settled on an apple fritter and a glazed. Both were dry and def not fresh. The apple fritter had so much cinnamon, it was bitter and extremely dark. I felt like if the batch called for 1 tablespoons of cinnamon, someone misread it and put 1 cup. Yeah it was that much cinnamon!!! The fritter was nearly $5 and the glazed was a little more than $1. I tried to eat it, but wound up trashing it. I should have returned them before I left the parking lot...
