I am obsessed with anything they do with strawberries and chocolate and my recent favorite is the Belgian waffle with strawberries and chocolate drizzle. Yum! My constant favorite is the Lavender Matcha Frappuccino, I get it every time I go. I also really love the Matcha mochi doughnut on the side sometimes. So, the process goes as follows; you go in, you grab a tray, cover it with a liner, grab some tongs and then go through and pick out the pastries you want, placed them on the tray and then go up to the counter and they will bag them up for you. This location is in a shopping strip with plenty of parking however, with some recent construction in the area, be safe getting in and out of the limited eateries and exists. The location is clean and provides some seating for breakfast space. You will be turning both ways as you attempt to make your selections but it won't be quick because there are plenty for you to choose from. First thing to greet you to the left of the door is the tray and utensils so that you can make and grab your own selections. When that big feat is done, you can head to the cashier where she will ring you up as a to-go or dine in. So we came back, armed with foreknowledge. I got the ham&cheese again but tried it heated this time. The ham burnt the roof of my mouth but that's on me. It completely changes the way the sandwich tastes. I honestly don't know which way I prefer it. If you're going to get the strawberry croissant come hungry. The cream filling is light and subtle. This one doesn't have the lemon flavoring other tarts/buns do. The strawberries are sweet and fresh. A winner! The app saved me $5. I wanted use the "free pastry" coupon but the terms & conditions were pretty ridiculous - most of the pastries don't count and you have to get a drink but the bottled soda doesn't count. I decided to try some thins over the weekend, so I stopped by and dropped another $84.00 late Thursday. We are super healthy eaters, so no canola, margarine or seed oils, preservatives and chemicals you cannot pronounce. (Note: butter and tallows are fine). The bread was so perfect with it with a mild sweetness and density that stayed firm and didn't get squishy. The cucumber slices were the perfect touch with a nice crunch for needed texture. The pastries were delightful and the strawberry with cream mini stuffed croissants were airy and made me wish I ordered more. The cashier was so helpful and guided me with my matcha order. Here's the reality: the average menu item here costs $8.94. That's more than the federal minimum wage of $7.25/hour, meaning someone would need to work nearly two hours just to afford one item. And after trying several pastries and drinks across both visits, I can confidently say, nothing here is worth working two hours for. Sure, the presentation is nice and the interior is clean and modern. Reality is I f you strip away the aesthetics and focus on value and flavor, it just doesn't deliver. The iced matcha latte tasted like sweet vanilla milk with sort of a white tea and gardenia flower taste and maybe a tiny hint of matcha. It's very smooth! Even though it didnt really taste like a MATCHA latte, it was still good as a drink, and I would get it again. However, one thing was that it seems like they premade their matcha lattes (?) since I asked for less milk, but she said she couldn't do that then went to the fridge, but I think she was out so she made a new batch for me. Other than that, they have a medium amount of baked goods, and it looks so good! The blue and white themed interior is neat and seems like a great place to hang! We always like trying new spots, I am glad we stopped in here for a snack and a drink. Very nice and clean in side. They service a good bit of pastries and coffee. The food is self serve. You come in and grab a tray and tongs and grab what you want from the display cases. They cases all have slider doors and are easily accessible. There is an area for lunch type items and cooler snacks, as well as some cold bottled drinks. No alcohol or wine. The do make hot drinks, such as coffees and teas. Outside of the hot drinks, you do the work of getting your food. They will warm it if you like. I had one of the Coconut cream croissants and it was really super good. The filling was plentiful, not over seen as well. Wife had the chocolate croissants, ti was good warmed up, only complaint was it had very little chocolate filling. The croissants were soft and flakey. Very good. The ice cold black tea was good, very flavorful and strong. Wife had a vanilla latte, it was good, not weighted down with sweetness and syrup. Very good. Again, the place was clean. Even the bathrooms, but they don't have paper towels in the bathrooms. The sitting area was kept well, had plenty of chairs and small cafe tables in the small space. Lots of windows. Very welcoming. Staff was ok, not the most talkative. A couple gf options would be really nice. My mom is gf and often her only options are a rice krispy treat or macarons. The lemon raspberry croissant was so good. Great soft croissant, great lemon flavor and not overly sweet. The raspberry almond croissant didnt taste as fresh. It was alright, but i wouldn't get it again. The ham and brie croissant was amazing. I took a bite right after i paid and then was wanting to finish it the whole drive home! The mochi donut was ok- not that exciting. The honey harlic baguette was pretty tasty as well. We ordered a couple drinks that were actually not good. My mom got English breakfast tea which she drinks a lot and said that was not what it was. I got a peach iced tea. It tasted like peach iced tea snapple. Way too sweet.
