The food here was enjoyable, I got a berry cheesecake. It is lightly sweetened, the fruit did a lot of the lifting when it came to having the sweetness you expect with a dessert. However, it was good, and it is standard for Asian desserts not to have that much sugar so I went and expecting that. They have a large array of options, my friend got a yuzu cheesecake and that was great as well. I would actually say I preferred it because it felt like two desserts in one, and the citrus did a lot to cut through the taste of the creamy cheesecake and was an enjoyable contrast. So glad this place is not closer to home. I would seriously be in trouble. My friend suggested we try this place after our lunch outing. Having no knowledge or expectations prior to coming, I didn't know what I was walking into. Dessert heaven, that's what! Displays of endless tarts and cheesecakes. So beautifully garnished and decorated. I was quite literally overwhelmed. The young ladies at the counter did their best to recommend their top choices but it was still hard to decide. Oh lalala, these desserts are not petit at all, and are so beautifully made. We came here after brunch on Sunday, to enjoy some cake and catch up with some friends. I don't like my grapes mushy like that. The haagen dazs tart was good, rich with all the chocolate but delicious. We also tried the black sesame and earl grey tarts and those were delicious! I wanted a slice of cheesecake but wanted a non traditional one so I decided to finally try out Petit Four. I opted for a slice of the passion fruit basque cheesecake and a chocolate"cookie". I really enjoy basque cheesecakes and this was no different, the cheesecake was really dense and wasn't overly sweet and I though I wasn't crazy about the passion fruit seeds I appreciated the overall flavor. The cookie was unlike anything I've ever had, it was honestly pretty bad, super dry, dense ,crumbly and it had nuts in it which wasn't indicated anywhere. On top of that the cookie didn't have a good flavor profile, i would not recommend at all. Reason for the three stars was the frigid/unfriendly service while there. Upon walking in I wasn't greeted, I initiated the hellos and thanks you's; the two young ladies there didn't seem to want to be there or offer good service and it showed so I definitely won't be back. We tried the fig and berry tarts along with the tiramisu cheesecake and everything was delicious, just a bit on the sweet side, so I'd recommend sharing rather than finishing a whole slice on your own. All i have to say is OMG i wish i had a place like this at home! When we walked in, there were multiple refrigerated cases of tarts and cheesecakes! There were so many different choices in flavor I did not know where to start. The workers told us they were known for their cheesecakes but we wanted to try a tart too. We got the muscat tart , passionfruit cheesecake and a strawberry bingsu. These slices are TOPPED! The tart, to me, was not amazing. The muscat was good but the tart itself was just okay. The cheesecake, on the other hand, was soooo creamy but light! The passionfruit cream was also light and not very sweet. I wished we would've gotten two cheesecake slices instead. Got the mango tart with an iced americano. OMG it was delicious. Previously I've tried the mugwort tart and the shine muscat tart, but I would say the mango has been the best yet. I loved how fresh and delicious the mango bits were compared to the thick cheesecake middle and the crunchy tart shell. The mugwort tart was a little heavy and thick due to the texture and lack of fruit, but I think having some juicy fruit evens out the thick cheesecake portion and biscuit like portion of the tart. I know the mango is seasonal, but would recommend getting this if you ever give it a try. The Dubai chocolate cheese cake was exactly as I imagined it-- rich, sweet, and crunchy. I wish the pistachio flavor was a little deeper, but I very much liked the balance of the chocolate and the cheesecake flavors. There are so many desserts to choose from cheesecake to croffles to tarts. I really loved the croffle. It's warm and flaky and comes with ice cream. I also tried the Earl Grey Cheesecake. Petit 4 The green grape ade was fun to try. The staff said that all of the ade's syrups are made with the fresh fruit syrup. The green grape one was made large peeled large grapes. All the tart and cheesecakes look so pretty and hefty. While the decorations seem to follow the same theme, each one had a unique aspect to make them noteworthy. Their Asian flavored cakes (chestnut, injeolmi, green grape, persimmon, mugwort, honey pumpkin, earl grey grapefruit, sweet potato, etc...) looked so tempting, but we could only choose one. We decided on the mugwort tart. From bottom to top: crust, mugwort bean filling, injeolmi cream, cake, mugwort cream, injeolmi cream, and mugwort cream and topped with yummy Korean round nut cookies and slivers almonds and pumpkin seeds. It tasted like a Mont Blanc. The black sesame cookie was chunky and filled with a light sesame whip. It easily split in half. I grabbed a cheddar cheese cookie, which had "Ritz" crackers inside, as takeaway. It was pretty good and had a savory aftertaste. I love bringing my friends and family to Petit Four. Their tarts and cheesecakes are gorgeous and filling. My friend and I shared a strawberry oreo tart and I am so glad that they decided to add in another layer of cake to fill in the area where an excessive amount of whipped cream used to be. Not going to lie, it gets a little stressful if you aren't sure what to get when you're the only one in line as they are waiting for you to choose. They have also expanded their dining room and now there is twice as much space to sit and enjoy their desserts. I also love their caneles that they occasionally make but did not see any during this visit. They usually have regular caneles and matcha caneles which are my favorite. I would love to try one of their black sesame caneles but have never been able to go there in the few times they have made those. read more

I love petit four! It's been a while since I been because I think the last time I was there was before the remodel! Anyways everything was amazing, the service, the decor, and the food was amazing! You first walk in and see the display case of all the delicious cakes they have, and they all look amazing! The day we went we ordered the strawberry snow flake (bingsu) it was so yummy! My favorite ones would have to be sweet potato cheesecake, melon tart , figs cheesecake , & lemon cheesecake. I feel like they pick out very fresh fruits for the cakes that have a fruit theme to it. If you like desserts that are not too sweet, then this is definitely the place for you. The most popular cakes will get sold out if you come later on in the day. My goal is to try all the cakes that they carry. It's a great gift idea for friend/ families. Besides the cakes , I also recommend the sesame latte. I haven't seen a lot of places carry this drink so it's kind of cool. They recently expanded which is nice because it's usually fully packed before the store expansion. We went on a dessert adventure inspired by Instagrams posts of amazing cheesecakes. We arrived late afternoon and well no cheesecakes were left. So the early bird gets the worm here!! So plan better than we did! We quickly pivoted to the Banana Croffle and Mango Snow Flake. We were sad about the missing cheesecake but both of these desserts were very good. The mango was fresh and ripe so just right. The banana on the Croffle was brûléed nicely! Both are great options to share like we did. I had the Grapefruit Lemonade and it was really good with lots of real fruit pieces. It took multiple visits for there to be more than 2 flavors left to choose from! Make sure you time your visit because on the weekends the selection is so limited due to increased traffic. It appears very limited selection after 3 pm as well. I REALLY wanted to love this spot but the Passionfruit cheesecake felt like it needed some Passionfruit in the middle or mixed into the actual cheesecake, not just a topper of the flavor component on top of the whipped cream. The cheesecake was nicely baked and great texture, just really missed having the Passionfruit in it! Service: I went when they were not busy, 1 table sat (already eating) and one person in front getting coffee, they had 2 people working. They greeted me but it did take about 10 mins to get help because 1 was chatting with appears to be some people they knew and 1 was working making coffee. In this case, I do wish they might have taken a short break from their conversation and assisted (I ordered and paid within 3 mins after helped).
