I've been coming to this bingsu spot for about a year now and it's hands down my favorite dessert. I like it way more than ice cream and once you're converted there's no going back. The bingsu is consistently light refreshing and perfectly balanced. The cashiers are always kind and helpful which makes the experience even better, and the environment is clean and welcoming every time I visit. This place has become a staple for me. If you're even remotely bingsu curious this is the spot.
Omg we're back again! A must! So cool and good! The smalls are huge! Definitely need to visit.
I have a friend at work that is always eager to share with me, part of the Korean culture, especially when it comes to food. He had been after me for some time to try what he called a true delight, which is Bingsu. He would not tell me much more about it, because he did not want to spoil the surprise. So one day on our lunch break recently we made our way over to Snow city Café. This place had me when I was in the parking lot and I read their sign that said "Shaved Ice". But when I went in, it was So Much more than shaved ice as I have always known it. You see, this is Bingsu, a treat I am now hooked on after just one try! Bingsu, I learned, is a Korean dessert, made with ice from frozen milk that is shaved, and then topped with fruit. OMG, where have you been all my life?!?! The service here was great. You see I thought I was in for more of a snow cone experience and I became a little overwhelmed when it was not exactly what I had in mind. I almost left, but then the very nice worker explained to me how to decide what I wanted, and my experience changed completely! I opted for the Strawberry and Mango Bingsu. I ordered a small, and I am thankful I did because it was HUGE! This place is great, I will definitely be back and bring some family members with me when I return!
I had high expectations coming here since they had the best reviews on Yelp for bingsu but sadly, I was let down. We ordered the mango and strawberry bingsu and presentation was 10/10. It looked delicious but sadly, the snow was flavorless. You get more for your money here because they definitely give more than their competitors as far as quantity. I'm not a huge sweets eater but I had wished the bingsu was sweeter because it tasted like just ice with fruit. Inside, there are a few tables. It's a cozy place for a date or to go with a friend but I wouldn't go with a group. Also they supply lactaid for those who need it, very considerate lol.
I usually don't like bingsoo but my sister and niece wanted to eat it. We decided on the three berry and it was surprisingly delicious. It had blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry with condensed milk spread evenly throughout. I would recommend this on a hot day. It's simple and good. Service was a bit slow, it seemed like the girl taking the order had to go back to make it, hopefully they are usually staffed well.
Very busy Saturday night. We went every table was filled we were lucky get one table. The wait was not bad surprisingly, they said originally it was going to be a 30min wait but ended up being around 5mins. They have about 10 tables with some free water also available self service. Then vibe good slightly noises but just because so busy. The food was quite enjoyable. We both enjoyed the taro bow. Both bowls were good, I think a little more toppings for the sides would be good. Overall fun experience and I enjoyed snow city.
I love that this is a nice refreshing treat while shopping in the area. The service was quick and fast although when we went and no one was there. But such as the absent flow of business and the food was delicious.
Came here for the first time, and I really liked the bingsu here. The choco monster was delightfully sweet and decadent. I thought the staff were nice, and they even gave us an extra bingsu because they messed up someone else's order or accidentally made another one. Warning, though--eating the bingsu makes your body temperature lower, so be prepared for chilly temperatures upon eating it.
We came here with our friends for dessert. This place was nice and the atmosphere was neat. We liked the Bingsoo. The person in the front counter was very nice but unfortunately he was the only one working and it took a long time to wait. If there were more customers we would have waited even longer.
I come here a lot with my friends, and honestly amazing bingsu, arguably one of the best I've had. The only sad thing is, THERE IS NEVER ANY SEATING. This area is always very crowded with people and it's hard to find parking in general, so finding a seat is rare (at least on the weekend). Another thing is make sure you wipe down your table if you get one. People never clean after themselves and the tables get really sticky.
There's a large selection of bingsoo flavors and toppings. I like it here because they offer three sizes/three price points. Other bingsoo places I've tried have just one size and usually its enormous. I got the mango bingsoo with mochi topping. The mango was freshfruit! It was only slightly sweet, which I preferred. Didn't take too long to come out. The cafe isn't that big but it didn't feel overly crowded. My kids loved the bingsoo.
Took my friend here today to try bingsu for the first time and I think this place was a good choice. We got the triple berry bingsu in a small and I think that was the perfect size to share between two people. We went around lunch time and there was plenty of seating. The berries tasted fresh and like a nice light dessert.
The strawberry mango small bingsu at a whopping $17.27 is our favorite treat to share. Hard to believe we would pay that much for ice cream, let alone shaved ice, but this one is worth it. The ice cream is almost impossible to describe and truly has to be tasted. It is super cold, silky, refreshing, and delicious. The shop is usually packed but on a Wednesday at 4 in the afternoon there were only two other patrons, which made the experience even nicer.

$15.95 for shaved ice is incredibly expensive! Even shave ice in Hawaii is cheaper than what Snow City charges. That said, I have to give credit where it's due. The Korean shaved ice had an light and fluffy texture that was better than any shave ice I've ever had. The young lady who prepared my order was very friendly, and the strawberry mango bingsu was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the price makes this a one time visit for me unless they start offering deals or promotions throughout the year. One tip: don't make the mistake I did by ordering to-go. Dine-in so you can get more value for your money and take cute photos of your bingsu. read more

We came here to escape the heat and enjoy a cold dessert. My kids loved this place and very generous size to share with 3. My wife came later to get boba tea to go. read more
$17 for shaved ice is insane! These were the smallest size that they had and it was indeed very small. The fruits were very fresh and the bingsoo weren't too sweet, but the price was insane. The menu had no pictures either so you can't tell what you're getting at all. read more

The inside seating and service were all great. We got a medium matcha bingsu to share ($12), and it was very average. I like it how they layer the matcha into two so the toppings aren't only on the top. But for the slight overpricing, they don't really give u a lot of toppings. I saw other similar reviews of minimal toppings and I feel like I had a similar experience. I think we legit only got 5 pieces of mochi and barley any condensed milk. If this business can add sufficient toppings I think I'd come here again, plus it'd do sm better against its competitors in the area. read more
Cute little bingsu shop! We went on a weekday evening and it was fast service. The bingsu itself is beautiful and flavorful. Loved the matcha with strawberry. Got the medium size which was good for 2 people to share. Definitely recommend! read more

Ordered half mango and half black sesame bingsoo. First time having it and was blown away! It was refreshing and all the flavors complimented each other. Taiyaki was ok, not a big fan of the peanut butter and custard. Originally ordered taro and Nutella, but they were out. They also sell Lactaid for those who have dairy issues. Clean bathroom. Small dining area. Plenty of parking. Good customer service. read more
Perfect snack/dessert on a hot summer day! Their shaved ice are smooth! The 4 of us got a bowl of Black Sesame and a bowl of Matcha to share, both flavors were good. I couldn't stop eating, I think I can finish one by myself and that's what I am going to do next time lol :D read more
Honestly very decent and good bingsoo. Had a lovely flavor and was very delicious. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. The seating was a little bit cramped but besides that they were super friendly and nice. Solid bingsoo spot! read more

We visited Snow City after having Ramen in Korea Town in Carrollton, TX. This place has finely shaved ice that you can order with a variety of sweet toppings such as fruit and sweet and condensed milk. We got the Strawberry Mango And the Triple Berry which were good. The shaved ice has a creamy like texture, so it must be shaved with a bit of milk. The fruit was fresh which was great as well! My husband had the Red Bean Taiyaki which was warm and sweet. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I could see how people like it. The ambiance was super cute with colors on the wall and neon word lights. It was really giving an Asian vibe. I would visit again and try their other flavors. read more

We got the cereal milk bingsoo and it was sooooo good! The ice cream on top was amazing and the fruity pebbles were layered throughout the ice and added a nice crunchy texture. Will definitely be coming back for this. read more
refreshing and delectable. my go to bingsu place, oh so yummy. the fresh fruit bingsu's are my absolute fav! they leave you feeling amazing after indulging. service is good and ambience is fun. however, i don't love how much the prices have gone up so much in the last year or two (since they were already pretty pricey) read more
Cute place but the service is a bit slow; the staff is really friendly, however we ordered 2 bingsus and a croffle - which all came out at different times. Our first bingsu took about 15 minutes, and 2nd took an additional 10 minutes, and the wait time for the croffle was about 30 minutes total. Normally it would be fine since we knew they were a little busy and there was just 2 people working, but the croffle came out super burnt and un edible. We'll be back to give it another try, but we'll probably choose to be in during their off peak times. read more

A great spot to have dessert with friends and family after a meal in the area! it does get pretty packed quick so it might be hard to find seating if you're a large group. there are a couple of seats outside that u can always togo the bingsoo and eat at. Got the strawberry bingsoo and half ingeolmi half matcha bingsoo. the strawberry and mango bingsoos are always a good go to! Tried the ingeolmi matcha bingsoo for the first time and the matcha profile was light and the ingeolmi I'd say is similar to a powdery peanut butter taste but still very light! read more

First time here and definitely will not be my last! I can't believe I didn't try this place sooner! My husband and I shared a mango bingsoo and it was delicious! We've been to many bingsoo places but this by far is one of the best! Their shave ice actually has flavor instead of just plain ice! It tasted milky which gave the bingsoo more depth! Staff is friendly and the inside is nice and clean. Highly recommend this place! We will definitely come back to try other flavors! read more

I don't know what I was expecting either but this was not it. This feels like a korean dessert place wannabe that turned out to be not asian enough. Not good, melts easily, taste nothing like korean bingsu, more like a copy cat and it was super sweet. No thank you. Nice visual but taste like sewer read more

Hello hot humid summer nights in Texas! After a lovely dinner that ended around 9pm, you see a few groups around the plaza with their friends still sweating in the hot night, out of all the dessert shops there you choose bingsu and what a good choice it is friends. My friend got the small strawberry and mango bingsu and don't be fooled by the "small". Everything is bigger in Texas after all and this bingsu is more than enough to share. The price for this giant sweet ice was pretty good; there's generous portions of fruit, ice cream, and ice. We all know the bingsu places that's mostly ice, that's not my preference but not here. read more

This is not the worst shaved ice place but still not up to par. They just use condensed milk and don't have flavored shaved ice where the flavor is already embedded in the ice block. My service was not great- I had when I have a server with a poor attitude. Why do people still hire people like this? It ruins the mood. I will not be coming back read more

AMAZING desserts!! I love the bingsoo here! They don't just have the toppings on top and just ice won the bottom. They make sure to layer the ice and toppings in the bowl so every bite is amazing. They have many fun flavors and I haven't tried one that I didn't like yet. The ice has a creamer on it making it taste rich and sweet. The place is really cute and the night life around this restaurant is also pretty fun if you wanna go out with your friends after. The service is a bit slow especially when there are so many people there in the evenings. read more
