Peach drink with vanilla cold foam was very tasty, comes with a very cute presentation. Not a long wait, good atmosphere and lots of people coming and going!

This place is a HUGE hype in Taiwan. It apparently won the Michelin Star equivalent for drinks. Personally, I don't think it's a bad place to if you want some boba or tea drinks that aren't as sugary. They definitely have a great tea selection and on weekends, they offer some tea tastings. Not only that but they have rotating monthly specials. Watch out though, the weekend nights and Sunday mornings after 12pm is utter madness since everyone is out and about at this time. Just be sure to keep your receipt because that's how you monitor the status of your drink. It'll populate on a big tv above and the entrance.

This review will be biased, since i'm Taiwanese, but the drinks here are pretty good. We ended up getting a pineapple milk tea and a taro milk tea. This place uses less sugar where they start at 75% and you can adjust downwards. The string that comes with each drink, is very aesthetically pleasing to look at. When we went, it was very crowded inside, like all the seats and tables were taken. Which is surprising, since the inside is very spacious for a tea shop. We actually ordered via the kiosk and it took about 5-7 minutes to get our drink. They have a crazy looking machine which brews and extracts the tea. It looks like a high end expresso machine...lol They also have outdoor seating. This place is located in a new shopping plaza, a few streets away from the 99 ranch plaza.

The teas tasted amazing. And the inside of the shop is really stunning and can be a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done. The front register team member did a decent job of suggesting teas but was a little impersonal. Maybe I'm just getting old. Overall, I was great for her patience with me even if I felt a little rushed. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of what they have on the menu and further seasonal teas.

We got the Green Tea with Cream and Dong Ding Oolong Tea Latte - both were delicious! The Green Tea with Cream has a stronger tea taste while the Dong Ding Oolong Tea Latte is creamier and richer. We got boba with both drinks and the boba was soft, chewy, and still warm when we got our drinks! Overall, I loved visiting this location in Carollton! It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. Plenty of seating available inside with lots of people sitting and chatting. Aesthetic interior with lovely vibes. Staff was fast and efficient.

I can understand why this location was so popular when it opened. The first time I went here I was so impressed when the taste of the tea. & I am a HUGE tea fanatic. The presentation of the drink is just adorable. My drink was full of flavor and really made me wanting to come back for more. I also enjoy this location in Carrollton, and there is also a couple cute things you can do in the area (such as go to a claw arcade or make rugs next door). Overall, if you enjoy tea and want to try something new and delicious, you should give Chicha San Chen a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Tea is good quality and refreshing! I really like the honey flavor, and I also like the little carrier. The service was quick, and the ambiance inside is nice. It was a little pricy tho, but a cool experience!

Chicha San Chen is hands down one of the best boba spots I've ever been to! You can taste the difference in quality -- the tea is brewed fresh to order, and every drink has that rich, aromatic flavor that sets it apart from typical bubble tea places. I got the Dong Ding Oolong Milk Tea with 50% sugar and it was perfection -- smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The boba was soft with just the right chew. You can tell they care about the details here. The space is super clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful when explaining the menu. It's a little pricier than your average boba, but totally worth it for the freshness and quality. If you're a tea lover, this place is a must-try. Go for the oolong-based drinks -- they're unmatched!

My first time visit and everything was good! Once you stepped in, you can order on the screen or with the cashier. It was quite hard to find a drink to customize because a lot of things are just set and can't add toppings. Lots of seating options inside. I love the decoration. Only takes about 5 mins for my drink to be ready. The tea has great flavor so they definitely used good quality tea. The boba is one of the best flavor and texture I've ever had. My favorite boba place in Dallas!

I ordered 3 drinks and paid. When I got my drinks I asked for a bag. They said it would be 25 cents. They did not mention the policy when I paid. I opted not to pull my credit card out to charge an absurd 25 cents on it, I feel like the establishment would lose money if they did that due to credit card fees and all that and a lot of us are cashless these days. I put the drinks at the foot of the passenger seat and at a turn they spilled all over the place. It was obnoxious that they tried to charge for a bag. I think businesses before they charge for a bag should first look around the consumer climate. 1. Does the closest biggest super market charge for a bag (Ranch and HMart: no) 2. Does a bag protect the integrity of the product and is necessary to get the purchase safe so it can be consumed when the customer goes home? (Yes) 3. Do you lose money charging 25cents on a credit card?(Yes) Stop being cheap and stop charging for bags

    Cassia black tea

I heard good things from my family and decided to try chicha San Chen. I ordered the Cassia black tea with oat milk and I thought that the tea flavor really came through. For tea places sometimes it feels like the extras added overtakes the natural flavor of the tea but here the tea is still the store of the drink. It was earthy and dark with hints of chocolate. I like the ambiance and the workers were pleasant.

New place with multi locations in different cities but this is the first in the dfw area! It's known for their teas that are highly rated ( similar to michellen stars). If you walk inside you can easily order in person or on the kiosk tablet. There's lots of seating inside and out. I highly recommend going to the tea bar where they do free tea tastings and explain where the tea comes from and how it is harvested. It's a cool experience but I don't think they do this every day. I've come twice and the teas are good but it seems that most people get the flavored teas like mango oolong etc. I don't have a favorite yet but i recc to stick with the top teas list if you aren't sure like me!

This is second time i come to this location. Their tea is strong and good flavor. Their service is fast and professional and you can order by boot stand or by casher The atmosphere is so cozy and warm. You can either come here for chatting or study

All the locations are relatively smaller in space but the seating here is the best. The chairs are comfortable & perfect for co-working or studying. Drinks & egg pancakes are reliably consistent. My favorite items are the: B2. Boba Milk Tea - classic Taiwan bubble tea & J5. Chocolate Combo Egg Pancake - comes with 2 chocolate filled / 2 chocolate & custard filled / 1 original no filling

I will definitely be ordering this as my go-to. It was creamy, sweet, and just a tad sour. I went with 80% sugar per my friend's recommendation and that was definitely enough sugar. - Strawberry Matcha Latte: the first few sips were amazing, but then I started noticing a heavy powdery taste. Unfortunately it didn't get better and I had to ask a worker if I could switch out my drink, which they did for me for free. - Passionfruit (2 topping) Tea: the taste was good and I loved the stringy boba topping but the tea had a dry aftertaste which I didn't enjoy. Overall the prices are definitely up there ($7.50 for a drink) but it can be worth it. It's across the street from the Carrollton plaza and has some parking in the front. There are some small tables inside but it's usually pretty busy. Orders don't take too long to come out.
