My Boyfriend and I had such an amazing experience at Happy Lemon! Not only was the staff so friendly, but the overall vibe of the place was so fun! So, let me paint a picture for you! It was date night, and we planned to go to the craft boutique across the parking lot. What we failed to realize is that our craft that we decided to do was going to take more than 4 HOURS LONG! lol! I know! And come of course we brought no snacks or drinks to accomodate us while being in one spot for that long! Thus, how we ended up at Happy Lemon! We noticed the drink spot as soon as we entered the parking lot. The logo itself is very captivating! We soon walked over and ordered two drinks, one for each of us! It wasn't packed at all, and we were greeted upon arrival! I ended up ordering a green tea with passionfruit and my boyfriend ended up ordering a smoothie with oreos in it! OMG his smoothie was so freaking good! It was a mixture of fruits and chocolately goodness! My green tea was also very refreshing! Oreo bubble waffle was good. Crispy on outside but soft and doughy on inside. In fact the inside was a littlllle too doughy for me. But very few places sell bubble waffles in DFW. At another place which sells good waffle, one time we waited 25 min for it. At least, here at Happy Lemon it only took 5 min to make. Ordered milk tea with cheese foam.. the boba was ok .. but .. the drink not that good. First, the teen cashier didn't ask me what sugar level I wanted, what ice level I wanted and I forgot I could ask. So when it came, 100% sugar too sweet for me and reg ice. And the drink .. it was way too watered down (the tea was very weak). Couldn't detect any tea taste. Too many competitors in this complex. There's Cicha Sanchen across the complex. Truong Nguyen coffee. Even Hey Yogurt just opened.... So yeah it's tough doing biz here. Escape 360 gonna open and they sell drinks too. Happy lemon may want to re decorate and make it cozier inside. read more

Happy Lemon is no frills boba shop I have tried at multiple locations, no problem with the service and standard new build bright windows. The foam is good when paired with the milk tea, but I do not recommend the ube since it was powdery and matcha was weak. All the drinks were watery. Good chewy boba in the morning though. read more

I've visited this spot a few times, and it never disappoints. The owner is friendly and explains the menu well, the dining area is cozy and clean, and the cute decorations make it feel very inviting. I love that you can choose your ice and sweetness levels so you don't end up with a cup full of ice like some of the other places in the area. Every drink I've had has been perfectly made. The boba is always fresh and chewy, never overcooked, and the bubble waffles are delicious. This has definitely become my go-to tea shop in the area! read more

Aaaaaye! It's happy lemon!!! This place is awesome!! You really can't not like happy lemon! Well...you can....but that just means you aren't a happy person. Or a lemon. They take a whole lemon, blend it up with honey and green tea, and put it in a cup! It's the perfect amount of sweet and sour and so dang refreshing! Like a delicious slushy. The service is good enough. It's either a passionate owner helping you or some of their somewhat lethargic, younger workers. Either way the service isn't ever bad. We ordered 5 drinks and person who took the order placed one of the drink as 75% of ice when we wanted 15% of ice. Then after we got the drinks then another drink that supposed to be with no ice at all, which came with tons of ice. All 5 drinks were so bland, very weak in the taste, and the boba was not even nearly enough for the price that they charged for the drinks! Came on a whim to check this place out today and I'm so glad I did! The decor inside is bright & cheerful. The cashier I interacted with was very helpful! She explained everything & answered all my questions. She guided me through my order & said if I wanted to tweak the flavor after tasting the finished product, she would do that. I had the fresh squeezed lemon honey green tea and it was really refreshing! You get to customize the sweetness, amount of ice, and any toppings too. I brought my mom this time, she is elderly and had trouble loading the app on her phone when it came time to pay, it took her a few tries to get logged in succssfully and they were so patient and didn't make us feel rushed. FINALLY a happy lemon in Carrollton! I came here for their grand opening when they were offering BOGO drinks. I luckily squeezed in when there was no line, right before about 40 people showed up in the post lunch rush. I ordered my usual-C4 homey lemon green tea with boba, and it was delicious. The lemon flavor was bright and the drink was perfectly tart. They also did a good job handling the crowd that came after me! A new boba shop opened near the Asian Town in Carrollton, so I decided to check it out. I ordered the Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea with boba (25% sugar, 50% ice). It wasn't sweet at all, so I think it would be better to order it with regular sugar. Sweet boba definitely tastes better. My daughter ordered the Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea with boba (regular sugar, 50% ice), but she said even with regular sugar, it wasn't sweet enough for her. My son ordered the Oreo Milk Tea, and he seemed to really like it. We also ordered the Original Waffle. It was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. Pairing it with the salted cheese sauce was amazing. The staff was very polite and took the time to explain everything. The shop is brand new, and its design is super cute with a lemon logo. There are four tables available. If you become a member on their app, they offer a Buy 1, Get 50% Off deal on Tuesdays, so it's a good idea to visit on a Tuesday! The new Happy Lemon spot in Carrollton new square on Old Denton just opened, and we couldn't wait to try it! They have the best bubble waffle we've tried so far in town. The waffle was lightly sweet, just like the ones we had in Taiwan and Hong Kong. If you're looking for something different, the taro puff cream dip is a unique flavor worth trying. All the drinks we ordered were really good! The freshly squeezed honey lemon green tea was super refreshing, the kumquat lemon green tea with lychee jello had a perfect citrusy punch, and the grapefruit green tea with real pulp inside was bright and flavorful. Everything was so good that we finished more than half before remembering to take pictures. Definitely worth a visit for fruity tea and dessert lovers! read more

I had seen this place on social media and it looked adorable and its in my area - I was excited to give it a try but it fell short of my expectations. They were out of regular boba but did substitute the popping ones but it really didn't go with the drink. I did enjoy the mango lemon slushy but we ordered a bubble waffle with the cream dipping stuff and was not given it with our order. It was mildly busy and took a few minutes to make the drinks - but no waffle - they forgot it - people after us got their waffle. When we went to the front to ask we were ignored by the workers - they would not turn and look at us to ask about our missing item. Finally they did and handed us a waffle but no cream & again would not respond to us or look our direction. We gave up at this point and just left.
